Three years.
Three whole years they had kept her things, stored in the back simply waiting for the inevitable day that the human male would return. The pokemorph sighed and shook her head as the tromping sound of Carlo's massive feet brought her mind back to current events. The large pokemon was easily making his way through the crowd; drawing more attention than the morph possibly could. He was singing in a deep baritone voice that echoed across the street even though there was plenty of people there. It turned enough heads to cause the morph to shrink down against the pokemon and she felt her chest rumble in a small growl. She couldn't physically speak; just another curse of being a morph it seems. Her body prioritzed her psychic abilities more than her voice box, it even deigned to give her thicker fur as the weather got colder and colder. She exhaled and brushed her mind against Carlo's trying to ignore the score of subtle whispers her mind was recieving every time he stepped over some people. Carlo's response was equally as loud in his mind as his spoken words.
What are you even singing?
SOMETHING SALISBURY TAUGHT ME. HE SAID PEOPLE WOULD LIKE IT.
The morph winced and didn't bother inquiring further, she doubted that the large pokemon remembered what the song was called. She made a mental note of reminding Salisbury not to teach him songs that made the loud pokemon even louder; though the tune in itself was nice and made the morph want to nap on his back. A surprised yelp issued from below as several smaller children and their mother were suddenly introduced to the fact there was a walking dinosaur in their midst's. The woman was texting by the looks of it and wasn't paying attention fully. If Carlo wasn't careful around smaller creatures he probably would of stepped on them. The woman stifled a response and Tyrus could feel the anger seething in her mind; they didn't want to say anything to the morph because many people feared reprisal from pravus if they did something stupid. Tyrus offered an apology but the kids and woman were already quickly out of range due to Carlo not stopping. The morph brushed her mind against his again; the response he gave sounded aghast that the morph would even suggest something like that.
You should be more careful.
WHY WOULD I DO THAT? SHE WAS CLEARLY NOT PAYING ATTENTION.
The morph bit her lower lip and would respond but Carlo clearly wasn't going to have any of it since he started to sing louder. People that were near clamped their hands over their ears and moved quickly away from the dinosaur pokemon. The morph sighed a little bit and gritted her teeth as they finally came to an rather familiar store. The hanging E of the "Early to Rise" that they hadn't fixed yet made her smile. They refused to fix it because it seemingly both drew attention to the store and made simple conversations relatively easy to start. Tyrus slipped off of Carlo whom was singing a newer even louder [somehow this was possible but she wasn't about to question it] The morph furrowed her brow and ran a hand along Carlo's side before nodding to the larger pokemon. If she needed help the morph could pretty much just let a psychic scream out towards him. The pokemon when he started running was practically unstoppable against humans of norm and sides of buildings. The thought of Carlo breaking through the side of her old work place brought a small grin to the morph's face. She had liked it here though some of the people probably would welcome the change of scenery. The morph strode into the entry just as Carlo started the second verse....
