It was a beautiful day outside. What better way to spend it than outside? Although schoolwork called at him like an annoying murmur in the back of his mind, he ignored it and trotted down the stairs of his home.
Snowflakes were already beginning to swirl around his body, the temperature around himself dropping considerably. It was only fall, but whenever Gwyn was around, it might as well be winter. He could tell that it was cold, slightly. His fingertips and toes were numb-- but they always were. He didn't notice it anymore.
But everyone else did. As he walked by on the streets, little cracks of ice appeared, blooming right underneath his feet. People shivered and looked around surprised as he passed. He was Remoor's very own version of Jack Frost.
What to do today? He had a variety of mischief on his mind. He could go and freeze the soccer field over. Or the rude pizza maker's steps. Last time he'd eaten there, he'd gotten food poisoning, and the man had thrown toppings at him.
How rude. He would never go there again for any sort of pizza, no matter how good everyone said it was.
He began to get bored of walking. How fast could he make it from here to the park? Gwyn grinned. His old record was three minutes. Lets see if he could do it in two. His feet began to move in a manner similar to a skater. Ice thickened under his feet, racing out ahead. He picked up speed.
Gwyn grinned as he raced in between the crowds of people. The wind rushed past in the most exhilarating way. He felt alive! It was a good day to be. The ice melted from behind him so that no one would end up slipping on it. It raced just ahead of his feet so that he never quite ran out of it.
The park was coming into view. He'd gotten here in almost two minutes. He was even faster than the last time! Just a few more meters. He sped up, absolutely flying now.
The fence came into view. He crouched and leapt, flying well over it by at least five feet. People looked up shocked to see him like a bird up in the sky.
A large pile of snow suddenly appeared on the ground, regardless of who was around. Gwyn crashed into it and caused an absolute explosion of snow all around.
He popped up, covered in snow, and laughing hard, obviously delighted. "That was awesome!"

For an autumn day, the weather was surprisingly warm and Khepri had opted to head to the park. It should be fairly quiet there anyway and it wasn't like she would run into anybody that would actually recognize her... Well, alright...someone might but that was kind of out her control anyway. It wasn't like she was on a wanted poster or anything so the chances of running into her father or anyone from her own past were slim to none. Besides, she was just minding her own business, why would someone point her out anyway.
Still, after being attacked after recently returning to Remoor, Khepri was a little paranoid to say the least of things. The park should be a safe enough place to go anyway and besides, she was lost and the drunks had gotten in her way...that's all there was to it. Though...if that guy hadn't gotten there when he had... Khepri shuddered just thinking about what might have happened if someone hadn't shown up when they had. The Eevee pokemorph was lucky that someone had helped her and even more so that her injuries had been relatively minor all things considering.
So lost was the Eevee pokemorph in her thoughts that she didn't realize how cold the weather had gotten in such short time. By the time she noticed the abnormal change, a pile of snow appeared not more than a foot away from where Khepri was standing. Seconds later, said snow somehow exploded and completely buried the Eevee Pokemorph who gave a startled yelp. She could hardly breathe with all the snow covering her and immediately started to dig her way out, thankful for her claws now more than ever as it sped up the process of digging.
Khepri had just managed to dig herself out of the mound of snow when she heard a voice say how 'awesome' that was. No. Not awesome. Not in the slightest. Now cold and covered in quickly thawing snow, Khepri growled at the stranger, "Who the hell do you think you are?"she hissed at him, brushing off more snow off of herself as she did so,"Watch where you're going you moron!"she continued, glaring at the offender with nothing short of pure, unadulterated loathing.

He loved snow so much. He was so lucky that he could create it whenever he wanted. Although sometimes he did have the wonder... Did he love snow simply because he loved it, or did he like snow because of his mutation? He didn't like thinking of it as a mutation though since it was really more like a gift. But he'd always been surrounded by snow ever since he was little so it just felt natural to love the cold. Even when his nose turned blue and he couldn't feel his fingertips, he still loved the cold and snow. Winter was his favourite time of the year since no one would look at him strangely whenever he made it snow or create ice everywhere that he went.
Why couldn't it snow all the time? He hated summer. Summer was hot and uncomfortable and dull. Even if they got out of school during the summer, he always found it to be rather depressing. Spring was pretty bad too since it meant that the end of winter had come. He liked fall though, even if it wasn't as cold and snowy as he would have preferred it to be.
His thoughts raced as he picked up some snow and began to mold it into a sphere, the shape of a familiar snow ball. He was wondering if he should start a snowball fight with someone, or create a snowman. There were a bunch of little kids around who looked absolutely delighted to see a sudden arrival of snow. Just by standing around, Gwyn was making the temperature drop considerably and there were snowflakes beginning to fall down in swirls. The children laughed and grabbed at the snow in delight, looking happy with the cold and the sudden influx of fun.
An angry voice drew his attention. Still grinning, ice crackling underneath his feet like flowers, Gwyn turned towards the eevee morph. She looked mad. Why? Didn't she like the snow too? Or was she one of the strange ones who preferred it be as warm as possible? He couldn't understand those kinds of people. Gwyn only laughed at the expression on her face and put his hands behind his back. "Why are you so mad?" He asked with a playful grin on his face. "You shouldn't be so mad just over a little bit of snow." He waved his hand and suddenly the snow was taken away from Khepri and formed into a giant snowball floating in front of Gwyn. He set it down and molded it into the shape of a snow man.
"Name's Gwyn, by the way. You know where a guy can get a carrot? A snowman doesn't look right without one." CODED BY DUCKIE OF GS

Khepri's mood was certainly not improved when the culprit only grinned and asked why she was so mad. Really? Really?! Was it that hard to comprehend why she was so angry after getting a huge pile of snow dumped on her out of nowhere? Growling quietly, Khepri had to fight the urge to wipe that happy-go-lucky smirk off of the moron's face... That grin was just asking for a knuckle sandwich and Khepri would be more than happy to give him one if he didn't say something to change her mind soon.
As the snow was suddenly pulled off of her, Khepri blinked, shocked that the snow had suddenly disappeared.... and was now being formed into a snowman... What was with this guy anyway.... was he crazy or just some immature brat that refused to grow up. The latter was confirmed as the moron, or rather, Gwyn, asked where he could find a carrot. Khepri however was in no mood to give him the satisfaction of an answer and instead clenched her fist and punched right threw the stupid snowman's head.
"You idiot!" Khepri growled, glaring daggers at Gwyn as she spoke, "Do you really think that I would tell you anything after having a ton of snow dumped on me?! You might be made of ice or whatever but I HATE the cold, AND all this accursed snow!" she seethed, leering at the white-haired freak all the while.

Her anger didn't bother him in the least. He was used to people getting mad at him for the smallest of reasons and it had long ago ceased to phase him in the slightest. Now he just had a live and let live policy about these kinds of things. Go ahead, and just let them get angry. All they were doing was wasting their own time and emotions when they could be doing something else.
It did give him slight pause when she decided to pulverize his poor snowman's face. However he just gave her a patient look, like one would give a child who was throwing an angry temper tantrum. It was easy to see from the way her muscles were clenching and the anger in her eyes that she was mad, and would probably like nothing more than to hit him too right now. Some people could just be so childish. It was a little sad.
"Throwing a fit here won't do you any good." He remarked simply, stepping back in case she decided to go crazy and attack him. The snowman fixed itself. "Look, I'm sorry I accidentally dumped snow on you but it's no reason for you to go and act like a little baby about it. You're like a five year old that just got told it couldn't have any ice cream." He shrugged simply. "You're just wasting your time getting mad over something like this." CODED BY DUCKIE OF GS

Gwyn's calm demeanor didn't do anything to help his case. All Khepri knew was that she was cold, wet, and miserable. What else could possibly go wrong... The Eevee pokemorph didn't want to know how worse her situation could get from right then and there. She was miserably and her choice of clothing for that morning did nothing to keep out the damn cold that came with just being near this guy. Honestly, what was this moron, Jack Frost in the flesh or something?
As she punched the snowman's face, leaving a huge gaping hole where the face would have been, Khepri couldn't help but give a smug smile. Unfortunately for her Gwyn seemed to have other ideas as he simply gave her a look that made her feel like a scolded child before he spoke. Honestly, the idiot didn't know when to keep his mouth shut, did he. Shivering, the Eevee pokemorph stamped her feet in place in a vain attempt to get warm even as the idiot finally apologized for putting her in this state to begin with.
Just when Khepri's anger was beginning to cool, Gwyn just had to go and call her a baby and then insulted her further by telling her she was wasting her time. Combined with the fact that she probably looked like a wet dog at this point, the Eevee pokemorph was positively livid. "You're a real idiot,"Khepri hissed, just barely able to keep her teeth from chattering, "I'm not exactly made for the cold like you apparently are. What are you, some sort of ice beast or something?" she continued, sounding more like a wounded, cornered animal than anything else.
Truth be told, Khepri wasn't all that angry anymore, she was miserable. Cold and wet, the Eevee pokemorph wanted nothing more than to curl up by a fire with a warm cup of hot cocoa. With this moron insisting on making it snow however, that hardly seemed possible to say the least of things and it was doing nothing to improve her disposition. ֍ TAG: @jackfrost ֍ WORDS: 343 ֍ NOTES: my poor babuh (Please don't respond for 48 hours) ֍ CREDIT: By Requiem of Remoor!
