[/size][/blockquote]Welcome to Vegas...Bright lights, luxury casinos, and more money than a single man could count; the amazing experience of the New Vegas strip makes you almost forget that what surrounds it is nothing but a bombed barren wasteland. Though, to those who inhabit it, the giant ants, scorpions, raiders and tribes are 'o'natural'. The memories of a once great, proud land, lost in a sea of greed. Isn't it sad how the human race can always find something - no matter how minute, how irrelevant, and dead it is - to fight over?
Cue the Mojave! A giant pile of dirt and dust, and home of Nevada's jewel; Hoover Dam. Electricity, water, life; it's produced from this giant pile of crafted rock and metal, and life is a thing which is often under the desire of control... thing is, everyone wants to be in control. The lengths one would go to assume control was shown years ago, when the horde of the east engulfed everything. Caesar and his Legion stormed the New California Republic as they lay perched on their ticket to holding this wasteland. Sadly for Caesar's Legion, they were unsuccessful; yet this, is only the beginning.
Time has passed since the two factions bashed heads, though many battles have come and gone in-between then and now. Vegas' self-proclaimed leader, the mysterious Mr. House, lies in wait; Caesar's Legion prepares for another major assault as they stride over the boarders; and the NCR is strained in their own land as Raiders, madmen, and secret societies, begin to make their mark on Nevada soil.
To desire control is nature, it's simply a question of what you are going to do with it... a question you should be asking yourself right... about... now.
The Mojave Desert is a post-apocolyptic, free roaming roleplaying site based on the acclaimed gaming series: Fallout. Taking place at the beginning of it's latest installment, New Vegas, players are placed into the wastes of Nevada, and able to live however they please. Though 'living', is a term that lies entirely in the eyes of the beholder, so whether you're aiming for the high life of the strip; or a rebelious raider, perhaps taking on the role of savior, or destroyer. Either way, as you battle, cheat, save, or steal across the heat blasted deserts of the Mojave, just remember:[Viva las Vegas]
