...because when the sun goes down, the wolves come out to play.
It’s 1890 in a small town in Texas located near the border of Mexico by the name of Trinidad. It had once been a quiet place to live until two rivaling bandit gangs began going at each other’s throat the past two years. Not only are they bandit gangs but they are lycan packs, pulled by the moon and forced into a terrible, dangerous creature every full moon. Most of the people of Trinidad are clueless to the supernatural so many stories are made up by the freakish deaths of their fellow townsfolk or the scary, unnatural howls in the night. They didn’t think things could get any worse, but sadly they were wrong.
Young, pretty girls started coming up missing. Some would go missing in the middle of the day, while others were ripped from their beds. No one can figure out what’s going on. No one knows the local vampire coven is in charge of this. Not only are they waiting for the two wolf packs to tear each other apart, but they have started their own black market business. They sell the young girls for whatever is desired of them - slaves, wives, anything. Who knew that this would catch the attention of a northern coven? A second vampire coven has traveled far from the north to attempt to put a stop to the fighting and black market business.
Also lurking, kept quite hidden, is the Adamas Purdah - another species of Shifters. Their Queen Olivia's strong hatred for all lycans grow with each day. Her thirst for vengeance is turning into something powerful. She plots with her court on how to avenge her mother's death - the lycans completely unaware of the Purdah's existence.
Alas, the third species of shifters, new and wanting to remain completely neutral are the jackals who are ran by a council of three. They are slightly more unique then the other shifters, with a telepathic ability which enables them to communicate to one another through thoughts. The jackals are becoming anxious with the growing tension between all the species. They are doing their best to just stay out of the way, however its hard when they are being approached by all.
