FALINE, OLIVIA, BIANCHI
22 - SECOND GENERATION POKEMORPH - FEMALE - BISEXUAL - NEUTRAL - RAPIDASH RACETRACK
[/i] The red headed woman pondered as she peered through the curtains--this was before she looked through the shades that were drawn over the door windows. "Oh, sweet Arceus, a baby!"
ABOUT THE PLAYER:

Other Characters: Pssssshhh. You know it.

BASIC INFORMATION:Full Name: Faline Olivia Bianchi.
Nickname(s): Fally, Liv, Livvy, anything really, so long as it isn't demeaning.
Gender: Female.
Age: Twenty-two.
Allegiance: Neutral. Technically, her adoptive family is mostly aligned with Pravus, but she doesn't have enough interaction with Pravus itself to be swayed one way or the other.

Species: Pokemorph. She is technically a Sawsbuck Pokemorph, since her mother was one, but she has some coloration and a small amount of features from her father, who was a Shiftry Pokemorph.
Powers:
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:Face Claim: Weiss Schnee, RWBY.
Hair color and hair style: Mostly a creamy shade of brown, bordering closer to white. She usually wears the hair on her head back in a messy ponytail, but the little girls tend to enjoy braiding her tail and hair when they get the chance.
Eye Color: A very bright, almost fluorescent, shade of green.
Height: On all four legs, she stands at about five feet and seven inches. When reared back on her hind legs, she stands well over six feet tall.
Build: Depending on which half you're looking at, she is lithe and noticeably muscular.
Skintone: Tan.
Other Appearance Information: Even though she is adopted, she belongs to a very prideful family. They don't do anything overly important in the long run. They own the Rapidash Racetrack and make sure it runs well, but they're a big family, and they work for Pravus in various other ways as well. Lawyers, businessmen, and even a few scientists. For the most part, however, they are very large advocates of Pokemorphs. They are large supporters of the process, of the species, finding them superior to other species, but not in a stuck-up sort of way. They display this by their...outrageous appearances. Perhaps that's the wrong word it, but they make it very obvious what they are.
Which brings us to Faline's appearance. Either way, when she was of age, she would look the way she is now, or at least ridiculously similar. Unfortunately, she is trapped in her current form, which is easily comparable to the centaurs of myth and legends. Everything from the waist down is that of a Sawsbuck, four legs and hooves, dark fur and otherwise. However, she is not completely Sawsbuck. Her mother was a Sawsbuck Pokemorph, therefore that is what she is, but her father was a Shiftry Pokemorph, leaving her with various features that can be explained by the Shiftry DNA.
The dark fur is what comes to mind. She has no markings as a Sawsbuck does. Her fur is strictly a deep shade of brown, though during every season, the fur around her legs lengthens and turns that shade of creamy white that her hair is, a feature from the Shiftry. This same color repeats throughout her hair and on the horns in her other form, coming off more black, grey, or white rather than brown. The fur on her tail is also...well, it's ridiculously long. This is the most notable trait from the Shiftry. The long hair on its head has caused the hair around her tail to lengthen considerably, almost like that of a horse's.
Her more human side is slender, lithe, with a few notable muscles seen in her arms and in her abs. This probably comes more from running than anything else, to be honest, at least over an elongated amount of time. Her skin is noticeably bronze, considering the amount of time she spends outside with the Pokemon and the children, except on her fingers and the area around her arms. They are tinted green, similar to the fans of the Shiftry. Her hair is that creamy white, and it has a bit of a rough texture to it. It's not quite soft, but has a bit more of a gentle, sand-papery quality to it. The thickness tends to change with the seasons, gaining small dots of green during summer, and small dots of red during autumn. The flowers of spring found on the antlers are found in her hair and on her tail. On top of her head can be found the swiveling ears, and depending on her mood, she generally has the antlers on her head.
Her clothes are relatively easy to buy, considering she doesn't necessarily need pants. She keeps to what can be seen as something similar to sports bra, stopping beneath her average breasts and lacking sleeves, comparable to a halter the way it wraps around her neck. She tends to keep gloves of some kind on her arms, mostly for the sake of being sanitary when grabbing things, maybe a little fashion, but even to hide the green that's on her skin there. She wears generally some kind of wrap around her waist area where the skin joins the fur, and the harder parts tend to appear as some kind of armor or even a saddle. It has an almost Japanese feel to it. In her more human form, she also keeps wraps around the longer fur on her legs to keep them from dirtying, and for warmth since she has poor circulation.
Her Sawsbuck form is generally the same of what is seen on the more human form, seen in the first image below. The dark fur is apparent, though she has that elongated whitish fur on the legs, and a lack of markings across her body. Her antlers are the same. There is a brighter marking across her face where it's more of a silvery-white like the tail, just around her cheeks and across her jaw. The tear marks from her eyes until they disappear around her jaw are also a shade of green found on the Shiftry, bright quite like her eyes, but this feature doesn't appear on her more human like form.

PERSONALITY:
Likes:
- Her family. They might not be her real family and many of them might not even be blood-related to her, but they are family. They took her in as a young child from the orphanage and embraced her for everything she was, even for her species and her heart condition. They have done nothing but make her feel like a confident young woman.
- Pokemon. She works with many of them, her own and the ones that are in the races. She is tasked with caring for them, feeding them, brushing them, and bathing them. She adores Pokemon, feels incredibly close with them in a way she felt she wouldn't be if it weren't for her family.
- Pokemorphs. Well, this has a lot to do with her family, considering that's all they are. She hasn't seen a single mutant or human among this rather vast family she has. They're all morphs, and they take pride in their appearances, so why shouldn't she?
- Fruits and veggies. Considering half of her is a deer, she can't really eat meats, so she has taken a very good liking to various fruits and vegetables. When they're in season, she can often be found picking them and putting them into a basket. She'll wash them and share them with the little ones and the Pokemon.
- Running. While she can't do it much or for very long, it gives her a great sense of freedom, as though it's in her DNA. Honestly, it is, so she has a great desire to run about all the time. She can jog easily for a short distance, but she can't push it.
- Music. She's a big fan of music, thought mostly enjoys instrumental music.
Dislikes:
- Heart condition. It keeps her from running. She simply has a bit of a weaker heart than someone who runs on a normal basis, and she hates that it keeps her from running about like she wants to. Jogging is one thing.
- Bad circulation. Her horse half has very bad circulation, so she tends to have to keep in constant motion and sleep in certain positions so she doesn't get too cold or stiff. The routine itself is a bit of a serious pain to uphold.
- Meats. She is mostly a grass-type, a deer, so eating any kind of meat really doesn't work well for her digestive system.
- Racism. She is an accepting person, tending to welcome anyone she sees into her arms, as she has a lot of love to give. Her family believes in the superiority of Pokemorphs as a species, they still love people. Seeing racism in other people, no matter what kind of person someone else may be, really irritates her.
- Rudeness. She doesn't really see much point in being rude to people, but perhaps that's just because she's ridiculously friendly.
- Pants. She hates pants. Trying to put them on her horse legs is a horribly frustrating experience. She'll stick with the simple legwarmers.
Strengths:
- Accepting. This girl seems to have a ridiculous amount of love to give to other people, even complete strangers. She would be the first to make a friend out of a stranger on the street likely than most people would, and it was how she was raised in her family, adopted or not. Accepting everyone for what they are is a show of a good person.
- Friendly. She tends not to seem to have a bad bone in her body. She's good with people, good at smiling and talking well, making jokes, just being good with them in general. Her friendly demeanor towards others is something useful to her in order to diffuse some situations that can probably be tense.
- Height. Faline might not be strong, but she has some height on her, and considering her love of fruits and berries and such that grow on trees (and the tendency for the little bird Pokemorph children that like to climb to the lower branches where they can't get down), her height is a handy asset.
- Energetic. The Pokemorph deals often with children and younger Pokemon, priming them to be raced. It takes a lot of energy for her to keep up with them, even if it leaves her tired at the end of the day. She seems to have a bountiful amount of cheerful energy, like someone flipped on a faucet and forgot to turn it off.
- Uplifting. She dislikes seeing people sad or in pain, and she has a natural tendency to come to them and try to make them smile. This is part of what makes her so good with people, because of her genuine concern for them. For someone her age, perhaps it's a little weird, but she feels like she has to make up for where she lacks.
Weaknesses:
- Heart condition. She was born with a weak heart, the reason her mother abandoned her as a young infant, thinking she wouldn't make it. Unfortunately, it restricts her with many thing. She can't do much heavy lifting outside a certain range. It also restricts her running abilities. It's like she can't condition her heart past where it is, so she can't run very long. A paced jog is possible.
- Bad circulation. Due to her evolution process a few years ago, she is stuck the way she is, and she has bad circulation in her more deer half. She has to keep herself in motion quite often, shifting from foot to foot often. She gets cold easily, hence her need for leg warmers or otherwise, even in summer, and has to sleep in certain awkward positions in order to prevent herself from becoming stiff, numb, and chilled.
- Centaur form. There are disadvantages to this, and most of her disadvantages are physical, because she is stuck this way. Maybe when she gets older, she'll be able to shift her form back to human, otherwise she remains either halfway there or all the way there. There are places she can't fit or finds it hard to do so.
- Fire-types. This is a bit of an obvious physical weakness. She also has a bit of a wariness around the Rapidash and Ponyta of the ranch, almost like a fear, but just a more wariness of being burned. Most of the Pokemon seem to trust her though, as she hasn't been burned yet!
- Temper. The family she lives with is almost very deeply Italian based, and this includes their tempers. She picked this up pretty early, seeing how those older than her reacted to others whenever they crossed the line. Her temper, while seldom seen, is volatile and explosive, almost like she makes the transition from the grass-type to the fire-type.
Personality:
- Friendly. She tends not to seem to have a bad bone in her body. She's good with people, good at smiling and talking well, making jokes, just being good with them in general. Her friendly demeanor towards others is something useful to her in order to diffuse some situations that can probably be tense.
- Accepting. This girl seems to have a ridiculous amount of love to give to other people, even complete strangers. She would be the first to make a friend out of a stranger on the street likely than most people would, and it was how she was raised in her family, adopted or not. Accepting everyone for what they are is a show of a good person.
- Loving. She has, as mentioned before, a lot of love to give. This sort of thing shows greatly. She is fond of physical touch, but not in any inappropriate sense. If she sees someone new coming to join them or something, she will be the first to offer a hug and a couple kisses on the cheeks as a greeting. The kisses are more likely with someone she's met at least once or twice, however.
- Gentle. Faline is a gentle soul in general, despite all of her energy and her temper. She is sweet and kind, handling many things with kid-gloves, such as Pokemon or children or even someone in emotional distress. It's simply how she operates outside the realm of her obnoxious energy.
BACKGROUND:
History:
Donna frantically opened the door and pulled the small basket into the orphanage, where it was warm and safe, and she swiftly took the child into her arms. She found the note and read over it, rocking the child back and forth until she fell into a dull sleep. She was small and frail, and had a heart condition. "Who would leave you here like this? And with no name..." Quite frankly, the woman was appalled that anyone would give up on a child after two years for a simple heart condition. She wasn't about to.
The child didn't receive her name for a few days. The other children at the orphanage seemed to enjoy her, play with her ears and the small flowers on her head at the time. Pink fur grew in patches and dots on her skin, the only indicators she was a Pokemorph. Donna sat the children down for a movie while she sat with the littler one who had come a few days before. Bambi was a classic, one of their favorites. One of the older children piped up in the middle of the movie, "What if we name her Faline? That's a pretty name!" Everyone seemed to be in compliance.
And so Faline she became.
Life at the orphanage wasn't bad at all. Three years passed and Faline certainly made friends. She was happy and sweet and cheerful, well-liked by most everyone. When she turned five, she was gifted with a Surskit that she ended up naming Harley. The little Pokemon became her closest friend, and they did quite literally everything together. Faline was never usually made fun of because of her Pokemorph features, which left her looking quite different from most, but when she was, she never necessarily understood.
"Why do they make fun of me so?" The little girl didn't understand, and she often asked Donna. The woman wasn't entirely sure how to explain it to her, but she was incredibly smart for her own age. "Some children are mean-spirited and they are taught that those who are different should be laughed at. Some people don't like different." Faline had paused for a few moments, the wheels in her head turning at the idea of this, but she just grinned, "I love people who are different like me. They're great!" Donna could only smile at the little girl before her, You are a special kind of different, child...
Adoption wouldn't come until she was about halfway through her sixth year of life. Some of her friends had been adopted, some had become too old to live in the system and moved on. When she saw that couple walk through the door, so strange and so beautiful, she was excited. The woman was stunning--her feathers were sleek and dark blue and red, dressed around her body, and her arms were wings with gorgeous feathers, and her legs resembled that of the bird. She was a Honchkrow Pokemorph. The man was just as impressive. Half of his body wasn't even human! He reminded her of a...Zebstrika! Yes, that's what they were called. The only human parts were from the waist up, and the rest of him was Zebstrika. His face had a few stripes, his eye were bright, and he had those ears and that hair that stood up. It wasn't the first time that they'd been there. She just kept forgetting who they were.
"Wow, they're so awesome!" Little Faline was absolutely awestruck with the two before her. She had no issue hiding that, while some of the other children were even a little afraid. She didn't hide behind the staircase. Ears erect, hair a flowery mess, and eyes filled with wonder, she bounced into view with Harley and stood behind Donna. "Miss Donna, who are they?" Donna would normally lightly scold her and tell her to shoo back to her room, but she saw the sudden interest in the faces of the two visitors. "This is Mr. and Mrs. Bianchi. They're here to adopt someone." The little girl's tone dropped to a whisper, "Are they different too? Different like me?"
Donna was working something in her head, planning on getting the little sweetheart a home by the end of the visit. She only nodded, and Faline was quick to bounce to Mr. and Mrs. Bianchi's feet, grinning up at them, the tail sprouting from a hole in her pants and waving excitedly. "You're really pretty, miss; I love your feathers! And you're awesome too, mister! Maybe I can look like that when I get older. Don't you think, Miss Donna?" Donna smiled down at her and in a hurry tried to shoo her away, "Perhaps, child, now go play with your friends while I talk with Mr. and Mrs. Bianchi, all right?" There was a faint "You got it!" as she bolted back down the hallway with Harley.
It wasn't long before the Bianchi couple and Donna disappeared into her office for the day. Faline had gone back to playing with her friends and Harley and their Pokemon, unknowing she would leave there that day with a new family. By the time lunch had come around and they were preparing to wash up and eat, Donna excitedly called Faline into the office. Once there, the door was closed, and the two from earlier were standing there. They seemed excited and the little Deerling Pokemorph smiled at them with her little Surskit.
"Faline... Mr. and Mrs. Bianchi have decided to adopt you." All the girl did for a moment was blink, allowing it to sink in, and her reaction came unwarranted. She gave an excited squeal and bounced around her new parents in circles before lifting Harley and spinning happily. Donna mentioned she would let them get acquainted better while she collected Faline's things. The Honchkrow Pokemorph knelt down and the Zebstrika Pokemorph sort of did the same. The woman spoke first, "Faline, name is Jacqueline and this is my husband, Vincent. You can call us that." Faline gave a pause and grinned wide, "Can I call you Mommy and Daddy instead?"
Faline had never seen two people so happy.
"Wow, a Taillow! She's so pretty! I'm gonna name her Valarie!" It was her first gift that night at dinner, sitting with such a massive family. There were at least thirty people around the table, though it seemed like more at the time, being so small, and they were all amazing! Nagas and centaurs and some with bird's feet and wings and beaks and just wow! Faline was amazed at their appearances. This family took pride in their Pokemorph status, their features being very obvious, and they strutted around proudly as such.
The little bird sat happily in her lap with a tweet, nuzzling at her cheek before turning and stealing a piece of her bread. With a laugh, everyone began to dig into the food. She stuck to the fruits and the vegetables and the berries especially. She loved the berries! All the colors and shapes and sizes and they were so delicious. She liked these people. Her Mommy and her Daddy, and all her uncles and aunts, and her Grammy and Pappy, and all of her cousins. Turned out Jacqueline and Vincent couldn't have children on their own, but they adopted, and got the bright ball of sunshine instead. Within moments of meeting them, she was a part of the family.
Faline Olivia Bianchi.
She had a wonderful childhood. Adopted by a great family, there were no problems. Her mother and father were her real parents as far as she was concerned, though she did often ask if her real parents were out there, if she had any siblings to worry about, but some part of her honestly didn't care. The only negative reaction she had was sadness. Why was she given up? Her weak heart was something she'd had since birth and she wasn't aware the stress of having to care for those problems in the future were too much to bear, the reason she was left on that porch step.
She played with the other children her age, her cousins, or siblings even in this case. She was Jacqueline and Vincent's only child, but the cousins were close enough to be called siblings as far as relationships went. There was nothing overly eventful in her life. Her parents worked for Pravus and she spent a lot of time with her grandparents, Rosemarie and Archie. Her grandfather was a centaur as her father was, and she was fascinated with this aspect.
In spending time with her grandfather, he taught her many things. The first was of the track, the horses and the racers and the people sitting in the stands to watch. They made a lot of money doing what they did, with the bets and the tickets and otherwise. She was more fascinated with the horses though. Her grandmother began to take her to feed, clean, and care for the horses. She loved doing it more than anything, including picking berries and gardening with her grandmother for the treats they would give them. It was also food for them.
Rosemarie was a Serperior Pokemorph, and half of her body was that of the snake she was fused with. The grass typing made it easier for her to garden as well, and with Faline's type as well, it worked all the same. She began to really harvest her powers here, working with her Pokemon half and becoming stronger with it. She didn't realize this would later cause a very painful process of evolution. Half of her went through the process, though just to be growing pains, unrecognized for what it was even when the Nuzleaf became more apparent within her body. Her heart problems became a little worse.
When she turned ten, the big double digits, she received her third Pokemon. It was a Spritzee, a shy little thing that she took to loving on dearly. "You're okay. We'll protect you. Don't you worry one bit." Sephora became increasingly clingy to her trainer, but didn't enjoy being around anyone else. She was afraid, and it was easy to see that she had very likely been abused by her last owner.
The days following were filled with battles against the other children her age, and training with her grandparents and parents in her Pokemorph side. This continued, even though in some cases it hurt badly. The older ones were aware of possible evolution, but they didn't pay much mind to it. Around the time she turned fifteen, she managed to get herself a more centaur appearance, something she was proud of. She loved the pink! Honestly, it wouldn't last that long.
Frantic claw pricks could be heard against the wood as he scrambled to find and adult, any adult, anyone who could help. He didn't mean to! She was screaming, she was hurting, and she was bleeding. How can they not hear her? He found them in the kitchen, laughing and preparing the dinner for the night. He had run our of breath. His brown feathers were sticking out everywhere, ruffled and his eyes were wide with panic.
Jacqueline had been the first to notice him, "Collin...what's wrong?" The little Pidgeot morph was out of breath and it took him a moment to get it out even though the room had fallen mostly silent, waiting for him to spill the beans. "It's Faline. Something's really wrong!" That was all Jacqueline and Vincent needed to hear before racing out the door past him; Collin would follow quickly to explain what was going on. "We were just training! With our morph powers! And she st-started to glow! And then she fell over and started screaming and there's blood everywhere!"
Blood everywhere wasn't quite how it was, but there was blood and mud all over her. Suddenly half of her wasn't human, it was half Sawsbuck, long white tail and otherwise. But for the moment she was screaming and writhing. Rain started pouring down, her Pokemon standing off to the side terrified, even though two of them had gone through the evolution process themselves. Jacqueline tried to get close to her baby, tried to hold onto her, but she only ended up kicked as Faline flailed helplessly in her pain.
Agonizing minutes passed, and other members of the family had joined them. Jacqueline and Vincent had multiple cuts from the hooves on the end of the girl's legs. Her movements slowed and eventually ceased. When they managed to get to her without getting kicked, she was bloody and her breathing was shallow. In a frantic rush, they took her to the hospital, and her body was awkward to fit anywhere. She was a centaur as her father was, newly formed, but she was unconscious and slowly slipping away.
Faline was rushed around by various doctors and into an operating room as her heart failed her. Hours later, as the waiting room filled with her family, the doctor finally came out of the double doors. Nearly everyone in that room stood when Faline's name was called, but her parents rushed forth. "She underwent the evolution process and it did some damage to her body. She likely won't be able to shift back to a fully human form again, and her heart has taken some serious strain from it." They couldn't say anything, but would their daughter be okay? "She should be fine. It will just take some time for her to recover, and she the chance of her being able to do much strenuous physical work is unlikely."
Faline was in the hospital for over a month, recovering and growing stronger. She relapsed once early on, her heart almost failing her again. Her family visited her every single day, and she only got sleep at night whenever they went home or were at work doing their own things. They constantly brought her berries, though; her favorite things to eat. She enjoyed their visits, and even though her evolution process had left her heart weak and her body permanently disfigured, she grinned and went about everything so happily.
"You're home! You're home!" The children chanted happily as they danced around her excitedly, and things went back to normal fairly quickly. Faline helped around the house with light duties. Cooking, small gardening tasks, washing the race horses. Nothing more than that, however. A few years passed along and she met her final two Pokemon, a couple of troublemakers by the names of Scarlet and Azure. They were adorable, a Plusle and a Minun. She chose to invite them to remain with her. Full of energy, they agreed, because they had been homeless and hungry.
Faline has adjusted to her new body in the past years, has grown more used to doing some harder tasks, but only to the extent that her body can handle them. She part takes in training some of the younger horses to race, but mostly cares for them through various means; bathing, feeding, loving, even just being outside. It honestly doesn't matter to her. She tends to the garden, does various house cleaning, cooking, watching the children, running errands, and spends racing days out around the patrons that attend the area. Her friendly demeanor is welcoming to them. But, she occupies quite a bit of her time with her favorite thing:
