BASIC INFORMATION:
Full Name: Hunter Michael Flynn
Nickname(s): Chameleon, H, Flynn
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Allegiance: Pokemon Rights Activists
Occupation (Position) : Errand Boy
Species: Mutant
Powers:
- Camouflage
-- Hunter is able to blend in with his surroundings in the blink of an eye. However, since he doesn't turn invisible, it's quite possible to see him moving if one were to pay close enough attention. He can stay camouflaged for lengthy amounts of time, though it becomes easier to see him when he's been camouflaged for a long period of time; a bit of color will show through here and there. This is the general idea of what it's like.- Phaselocking
-- Hunter is able to lock certain targets in place for a short period of time, rendering them immobile. However, Hunter does not use this power much, so he's quite inept at it, only able to immobilize one target for at most five seconds, or up to three targets for only a few seconds. While Hunter's target(s) is/are locked, a sort of dark barrier appears around them and they are lifted into the air; like this. Hunter uses this sparingly, as it uses a lot of energy to pull off.- Intangibility
-- Hunter is able to move through most physical objects with ease, by vibrating the molecules that make up his body to such an extent that they are able to move through, and pass through, other molecules. Hunter is a considerably more experienced with this, but prefers to only use it on himself. He has the ability to use it on other people to, for example, get them stuck in something, but he is nowhere near confident enough to use it on other people unless it's a life-or-death situation. For himself even, he's had more negative experiences than positive while using this, having got stuck a few times in places for long periods of time when he wasn't concentrating enough. With work, he could get much better at this, but for now, it's something he doesn't use as much as his camouflage. Example.- General info
-- Since Hunter gets distracted easily, his powers can, at times, fizz out on him; that's how he's got stuck a few times while moving through solid objects. Parts of him will show up when he gets distracted while he's camouflaging. Phaselocking doesn't get fizzed at the moment -- it lasts for such a short duration that, once it gets started, it finishes off before he can get distracted. However, starting it can sometimes be an issue. At this point in time, he only has about a sixty percect success rate at starting a phaselock.
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:
Hair color and hair style: Auburn; usually a bit messy and unkempt, about shoulder length.
Eye Color: Hazel
Height: Around 5'6"
Build: Really skinny, hardly any muscle tone.
Skintone: Normally an average skintone that a white person would have, but after spending so much time outside, he has a slight darker tone.
Other Appearance Information:
Hunter is generally seen wearing a red long-sleeve semi-dress shirt with two pockets on the front. He oftentimes has the sleeves rolled up to just below his elbows. The shirt, despite being a dress shirt, is always either untucked or only has one side loosely tucked in.
Hunter's pants are usually a not-so-attractive green color. They're quite baggy, so Hunter wears a black belt with them, though it's rarely visible.
Around his right arm, he wears three silver bangle bracelets. They were a gift from his late older brother, and he refuses to take them off at any time.
Other than temporary bruises, cuts, and the like, Hunter doesn't have any distinct markings on his body, save for the scars on his neck that he had from surgery when he was little.

Personality:
- Curious
-- "Curiosity killed the Liepard" is perhaps a saying that suits Hunter fairly well. He sticks his nose into anything and everything, even if he knows he shouldn't have anything to do with anything. As such, he oftentimes hears about things before the general population is by spying and listening in on conversations he probably shouldn't. He is also fascinated by technology and machinery he hasn't seen before, and as such, if he sees something he hasn't seen before, he'll go straight to work on poking and prodding it to the point of possibly injuring himself. One of these, his curiosity will probably be the downfall of him.- Ebullient
-- Hunter is always eager to do things and get things done. He's brimming with energy, almost to the point of having some sort of hyperactive disorder. He never seems to run out of it, even while he's sleeping.- Gallant
-- A brave soul, Hunter will stick up for those that are weak, and help those in need, especially if they're Pokemon or women, no matter the age or reason. Granted, he rarely makes a huge difference unless he's really trying; it's just the thought that counts to him. As long as he can either 1) help someone escape, 2) prolong impending injury until real help arrives, or 3) take the burden off someone else's shoulders, he's fine with that.- Incorruptible
-- Hunter knows what's good for him, and he sticks to his guns. He cannot be persuaded by bribes or blackmail.- Playful
-- Hunter acts much younger than he really is most of the time; he enjoys playing young children's games, and usually thinks the way a child does when things aren't serious. He loves hide-and-seek especially, but will definitely participate in hop-scotch, tag, and the like. He's always trying to get people to play with him or at least trying to make them laugh; this oftentimes does not go over very well, as sometimes his attempt at jokes can be misinterpreted as insults due to his inability to speak.- Circumspect
-- Hunter is always watching, listening, and observing things to get a better understanding on things, especially while running errands or collecting information. However, this sometimes comes back to bite him in the butt, as he's observed situations before, should have stepped in but didn't, and ended up being scolded for it.- Meddlesome
-- This goes along with his curiosity; Hunter has a bad tendency to step in where he shouldn't, which usually upsets a number of people.- Pugnacious
-- Although he might be hesitant to jump in at first, Hunter is always at-the-ready for a fight. He'll come in from behind, fists swinging. He will sometimes even start fights.- Weak
-- In more ways than one. Hunter is not a weightlifter by far, and his body is actually quite fragile. A half-hearted punch could probably crack a bone in his body. If he puts too much strain on a certain part of his body, it'll give out.- Tolerant
-- Of pain. Thankfully, to somewhat counter his weak body, Hunter has an extremely high pain tolerance. He's come home with cracked and bruised ribs, broken bones, and not so much as blinked at the injury. It's not that he doesn't feel it--he just taught himself early on to tolerate it to an extent, and has since developed a rather high tolerance for it.
BACKGROUND:
History:
- Hunter was the middle child of three. When he was born, his older brother was ten. Hunter was born with an anomaly in his throat that the doctors said would go away over time. This was untrue, however, as Hunter's health started to decline rapidly shortly after birth. Upon closer inspection, it was a rapidly-growing tumor inside his throat that was causing him difficulties breathing and swallowing, and would eventually close off his airway if it wasn't taken care of. The doctors said that it should be removed, but that it was unlikely Hunter would be able to talk due to the location and size of the tumor.
- Unable to make sounds after the procedure, it was difficult to take care of Hunter. There had to be someone awake with him at all times. As Hunter got old enough to walk and understand things better, his parents gave him a little whistle to carry around and blow on if he ever needed anything. At first, he just thought it was a toy to be played with, but after being scolded and punished numerous times for misusing it, he learned that it was to be used to communicate only.
- After falling only a short ways after tripping and breaking an arm as he hit the floor, his parents began to wonder if he had some sort of brittle bone disease. After a few more small falls and bone fractures happening because of that, they asked the doctors to have him checked out; they determined he had OI (Osteogenesis imperfecta) after a couple of small generic tests and a look at family history. In the past, a number of people on his father's side of the family had had this disorder, and although it had skipped being prominent in his dad, he still had the gene for it, and it had become prominent in Hunter. Hunter's case was on the high end of mild, as it only affected his bones, not his hair, but his bones were easily fractured and broken like in some of the severe cases.
-- Osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) is a genetic disorder in which bones break easily. Sometimes the bones break for no known reason. OI can also cause weak muscles, brittle teeth, a curved spine, and hearing loss. OI is caused by one of several genes that aren't working properly. When these genes don't work, it affects how you make collagen, a protein that helps make bones strong.
OI can range from mild to severe, and symptoms vary from person to person. A person may have just a few or as many as several hundred fractures in a lifetime.- School was a little tough for Hunter. The kids early on couldn't understand that he was unable to talk. He was oftentimes made fun of, and the teachers found it hard to teach him since he was unable to speak. However, since he was unable to speak, his hearing improved greatly as he tried to make up for his disability. He was also able to see and pay attention to things the other kids wouldn't. Despite these two improvements and abilities, Hunter was still easily sidetracked at times.
- Early on, Hunter discovered he had an affinity for the "canine" Pokemon. He expressed to his parents that he'd love to own one of his own eventually, and they said they'd consider getting him one as a present eventually.
- Hunter mistakenly found out he was able to move through objects when he was playing hide-and-seek on the playground at school when he was about seven. He was attempting to move back in his shaded spot of choice, when he actually moved through the wood. Thankfully, this time he went through quickly and cleanly, and it was a fairly thin wall, but he just sat there, shocked, eventually siting out in the open and crying because he'd had no idea what had just happened and was terrified. When questioned why he was crying, he didn't know what to say -- he just expressed he was scared and confused and wouldn't say more. After all, how would a seven-year-old explain he'd just moved through a solid object?
- Trying to forget about that experience was harder than Hunter thought. He was overly hesitant to even touch things for long periods of time, lest he should fall through or something again. While playing hide-and-seek again, Hunter was sitting a little in front of his usual hiding spot. Most of the children knew his spot by now, but when one kid walked by, looked at the spot, then continued on, Hunter was utterly dumbfounded. How had they not seen him? When he looked down, he barely saw himself; just a general outline. It Hunter would have been able to scream, he would have. Instead, he bolted from his hiding spot, the idea of hiding out of his mind and thus his usual body returning to its normal self, and ran straight for the only person he felt comfortable around; his teacher. She attempted to comfort him, but it was to no avail. This was the second time this had happened, and since the teacher and other authoritative figures couldn't figure out what was wrong, Hunter's parents were called to take him home.
- After being taken home, Hunter realized he needed to be truthful with his parents, so, using his hands to explain, he tried to convey what had happened the first time. He drew a box, pointed to himself, then the back of the box. He moved his finger through the back of the box to the other side, tapping his finger a few times on the other side, and repeated the process a few times. His parents gave each other a sort of weird look before asking him if he'd moved through the object. Hunter nodded. It was then that Hunter learned both of his parents were 'mutants.' However, they were off the chart; meaning, nobody knew that they were mutants. His mother was a teleporter. Hunter didn't know what that meant, so she demonstrated by disappearing and reappearing on the stairs behind Hunter. Hunter was wide-eyed and gawky. She also explained she could teleport other things, though not near as far. His father then explained that he was able to move things with his mind and create a mental barrier to shield from attacks, but it was hard to see. He demonstrated, and Hunter was just barely able to see a slight change in the coloration around his dad. His parents asked if he knew if he could do anything else, and Hunter thought real hard about the time he was hiding, eventually succeeding in camouflaging himself. His father gave a low whistle, and his mom acted really proud. They told him his brother could create images with his mind, something called an 'illusionist.' They assured him that it was nothing to be scared of, and that he should try to practice controlling his abilities, but not out in the open. They warned him not to use his powers publicly, in case the wrong person caught wind of it.
- The next day, his parents bestowed upon him his first Pokemon. The Pokemon was more of a house pet than anything, but Hunter was the one to be responsible for the Pokemon. The Pokemon was a fairly young Electrike. Hunter's older brother protested, saying that he hadn't got his first Pokemon until he was ten, but their parents waved him off. Hunter's little sister loved playing with the Electrike, but usually ended up getting zapped a little when she'd play too rough with it.
- As Hunter got older, he was better able to express what he wanted to "say." He ditched the whistle as he learned to whistle himself, and used different pitches and lengths to give pre-determined answers to questions. He didn't let his inability to speak hold him back in his learning.
- As a reward for doing so well in school, his parents got him another Pokemon, this time officially his; a Lillipup. To say Hunter was ecstatic would be an understatement. He cherished the Pokemon with all his heart, and would take the Electrike and Lillipup out for walks every spare moment he had. The two Pokemon felt sorry for Hunter foe being unable to talk, but they loved him nonetheless, and he developed close bonds with them.
- It was at about this time that kids at his school started getting their own Pokemon and battles started happening. Hunter, always the eager one, began training his Electrike and Lillipup with these battles. He wasn't the best battler, as he only taught his Pokemon to respond to the different whistles that signaled which move for them to use; they would have to improvise or interpret what he said if he gave an odd command, like a combination of two attacks. At first, it was hard getting his Pokemon to understand what he wanted them to do, but after a couple of years together training, the Pokemon he had could react the way he wanted them to before he was even finished with his whistling orders.
- Hunter's older brother is killed, along with most of the other Rangers. A recent gift from his brother, some metal bracelets he'd sent back via mail, were the only thing that Hunter really had to remember his brother by. He pledged to never take them off, if he could help it. Due to Hunter's brother's affiliation with the Rangers, Hunter decided he wanted to fight for the rights of Pokemon. He wanted to become a part of the Rangers, but after they were eliminated, Hunter isn't exactly sure how to go about it. He will openly fight for the rights of Pokemon, and isn't afraid to show his affiliation.
- A tournament came up when he was thirteen; the top three would get to choose one of three Pokemon. The Pokemon prizes were a Growlithe, Pikachu, or Riolu. Hunter really wanted the Growlithe, so was determined to get first so he could get that Pokemon. Unfortunately, he ended up getting third, and had all but lost hope at getting the Growlithe. His classmates knew he really wanted the Growlithe, and they respected that; the top two were considerate enough to choose between the Pikachu and Riolu, and left the Growlithe for Hunter.
- Hunter ended up getting a job as an 'errand boy.' He wasn't paid by the hour, it was determined by how many errands he ran. The errands mostly included just delivering letters for people who were unable to themselves, or who didn't have any Pokemon of their own to run a message elsewhere. Hunter got known for his fast and timely deliveries, exceeding the expectations of his employer. What they didn't know, is that he'd move through buildings to get to his destination faster. After all, going through a large building was twice as fast as going around or over it.
- On a trip through The Governmental District alone, Hunter actually got attacked when he went into the wrong building. They didn't know he was mute and took his not answering their questions as him saying 'Screw you, I don't need to give you any answers.' So, as Hunter ran through random hallways, eventually losing most of his pursuers, he sat down against a wall, out of breath. He might be late for this delivery; he was never late. As he got up to find the nearest wall that led to outside, he was cornered by a Machoke. In attempt to protect himself, he his hands in front of him to try and shield an incoming Karate Chop attack that was sure to hurt him no matter where it hurt, but instead of feeling his arms go limp, he ended up temporarily immobilizing the Machoke. It was surrounded by a dark-looking orb and was forced to levitate in the air. As it ended, the Machoke was forcefully thrown to the ground, dazing it slightly. Not wanting to waste anymore time, Hunter went for the nearest wall, went through it, and was relieved to see that he'd made it to the other side. However, he was unusually tired and barely able to keep himself walking after that little incident. He then concluded that whatever it was he'd just did took a great deal of energy.
- On Hunter's trips through the slums, he oftentimes would get into fights. He would come home battered and bruised, sometimes with more severe injuries than what he thought he might have at first look. It didn't stop him from doing his job and going through the slums, however.
- For Hunter's fifteenth birthday, his employer gives him a Zorua to help him on his missions. It had been trained already somewhat, so it knew what to do on the job. Hunter was to split the money earned with the Zorua, and vice versa. At first, the Zorua wasn't too fond of Hunter; it didn't enjoy having a mute master. But the boy grew on him, and the two soon got pretty close. The Zorua would even use its illusion ability to make itself look like Hunter on errands. It would also accompany him through the slums if time provided, so Hunter would be less likely to get caught in fights.
- Keeping the promise he'd made to his parents, he kept his powers a secret from others, even close friends. He practiced them around the house all the time, as well as when he was out running errands. As such, he got very good at being camouflaged, but after a few... incidents with his moving through thicker and larger objects, he stuck to going through things he knew he'd be able to make it through. He didn't use his newer-found phaselock ability much though, and as such, was not overly great with it.
- During his time as an errand boy, Hunter has found another thing he enjoys doing, and that's eavesdropping. Or spying. Just, in general, sneaking around to hear conversations he shouldn't be. Now that he's got a good hang on blending in a quietly getting around and in and out of spots quickly, he takes pride in his ability to find out information before it can spread to public ears.
- Hunter graduated with the rest of his class, despite what people's earlier doubts about his abilities. Now he works as a full-time errand boy, always being on-call and delivering things day and night, sleeping whenever and wherever possible, not knowing when his next job will come in. Sometimes he will get a few dozen requests a day, and other times he might only have two to three.

Personality: Alvin is playful, just like Hunter. He is patient and tolerant, knowing that it is hard for Hunter to sometimes get his point across in more difficult situations. He's a bit edgy sometimes, especially in unfamiliar territory. Personality: Although Doozer was used early on in training, Doozer sat out of a lot of training later on. He is more of just a "watch dog" and prefers to stay at home, taking over Alvin's spot of the "house pet." He's average in everything, and Doozer knows this, but he's content having such a caring owner. He will on occasion accompany Hunter on an errand if Hunter asks him to. Doozer's voice sounds like this.

She is Hunter's preference for a fighter, and he can always rely on her in a battle. Cole is full of energy and hates staying in one spot too long, oftentimes wandering away from the house to go for a walk, or tag along with Hunter on his errands. Cole's voice sounds like this.

- Flamethrower
Name: Vox
Species: Zorua
Level: 23

However, Vox is not one for battles; his purpose is merely to assist Hunter with his job as of now. He can maybe hold his own in a battle if the need arises, but it's not something that he would even count on. He's a bit argumentative, and hasn't quite caught on to Hunter's style of giving out commands for battles. Vox enjoys tricking people and walking around, looking like Hunter. After all, since Hunter is mute, no one would suspect anything. Vox's voice sounds like this.
