Hair color and hair style: Mama Weaver, first off, has striking purple hair. It's about mid-back length, and she allows it to flow freely. It has somewhat of a wavy look to it.

Height: Teresa is 5'10", or 70cm tall.
Build: For her age, Teresa is quite lithe, but with indefinite muscle tone.
Skintone: Light chocolate brown
Other Appearance Information: Teresa seems to have a wardrobe with just about everything in it. However, most of it seems to be dominated by a lighter blue color.
For public appearances, ergo when she's sitting in her shop waiting for people to come in, she can usually be seen in a one-piece outfit; usually a blue-and-gold short dress that goes just below her thighs. The main color is a light blue, with elegant gold trim. Most of her other apparel is similar; blue with gold trim, or occasionally white with blue trim. Accompanying these outfits are generally long, elegant white gloves that go to her elbows, as well as white heels and white pantyhose. When it's colder out, her wardrobe changes, but only slightly; she adds a dark purple fur-lined coat.
Teresa has a few distinct markings. Just below the back of her right ear is a scar that is approximately two inches in length. It's one that she doesn't take care to hide, so if her hair is moved out of the way, one would be able to see it easily enough. On the back of each of her hands are identical scars in the shape of star.
On Teresa's back is a tattoo of an Espeon and Suicune sitting side-by-side. She also has a tattoo of a Rattata on her left calf.

- The color purple
Dislikes:
- Most technology
- Bad liars
- Coffee
- Being stuck in the shop she owns

Weaknesses:
- Flirts with everyone, oftentimes losing customers because of this
- Eccentric
- Thinking out loud
Personality:
- Knowledgeable -- Due to her many explorations when she was younger, she knows a little about everything in what's left of this world. Unfortunately for her, hardly anyone cares about what things used to be like.
- Eccentric -- Unfortunately for the people that happen to wander into her shop, if they so much as look too long at something she has for sale, she'll go on an hour-long shpeel about where and how she got that particular item. She cares a lot about her antiques, and overdoes it when she expresses her love for them, though she thinks it's just normal.
- Caring -- Despite the somewhat odd nature of Teresa, she actually is quite the caring person. When she isn't rambling about some adventure she went on 'back in the day,' she's usually sorting out her money, deciding who or what to give it to next. She won't turn someone away if they need help, even if it's not for the best of reasons.
- Protective -- Of her shop, her Pokemon, and especially that back room in her shop. If anyone wanders too close, you can bet she'll be there to usher them along somewhere else. She's been with her Pokemon for quite some time, and as such, sees them as equals, and would give her life to protect them.
- Abstemious -- Teresa watches what she eats, and it shows. Although she doesn't act like she cares about what she eats, it sort of shows through, kind of like a bra through a see-through shirt. You can say it's not there, but everyone can see it.
- Flirtatious -- Mostly with younger people, but she's been known to hit on older people. It's not restricted to just males, either, oh no. She likes them both equally.
BACKGROUND:
History:
- Teresa has been around for longer than she'd like to admit. She isn't really forty-five, nor does she act it. Back when she was actually really young, the world wasn't in a state of ruin. She remembers being born after Nada Citadel was built, but before Pravus got known, so somewhere between 300 and 500 years old.
- Growing up, Teresa always had a fascination and obsession with treasure and shiny things. She longed to be the person to find the biggest treasure, whether it be monetary value or just wondrous repute.
- She didn't have any siblings; Teresa was an only child, only because her mother died not long after Teresa was born due to an unknown sickness. Teresa was raised by her father alone in the countryside until she was old enough, and after she left, she never returned to visit.
- Teresa became a renowned treasure hunter. If she heard about an item that was in a hard to get spot, or that a number of people ad failed to bring back an item, she'd volunteer for the task. Nothing got her more excited than beating other people to things they didn't have.
- Over time, Teresa got bored of just seeking out the hard treasures. She had lost her spark and longed for something challenging, but also related to what she loved to do. That is when she came up with the insane idea to hunt down the legendaries of the world and take parts of them as souvenirs.
- On her journey, Teresa met a fine young man. She hadn't really considered settling down until she met this man, Trevor. Teresa had never really had a preference for men or women, and had spent time with both genders. However, when she found Trevor, it was like things just clicked between the two. Teresa temporarily gave up on her obsession to be with this man. They even got married and started a family together, their first child being a daughter.
- After a few years, the attacks began. Teresa was known for being a treasure hunter, and she kept a lot of what she found, because she didn't care about the monetary value of things. The wrong type of people heard about this and began coming after her and her family in an attempt to get their hands on some of her prized items. This did not settle well with Teresa, especially she had a young kid, with another on the way. The Pokemon Teresa had captured did their best to protect the family, but it was getting to the point where it just wasn't enough. On the night she had her second child, things got rough. Teresa in a weakened state wasn't able to do anything herself, and was forced to rely on Trevor and her Pokemon to keep them safe. However, Trevor ended up receiving an eventually fatal wound that night while working with Teresa's Pokemon, and his own, to protect them. This was the final attempt to try and get to Teresa, as she was the only thing standing between people and her trove of items.
- As soon as Teresa was fit enough to move around, she packed up essential items and her collected items and decided it would be best if she didn't stay too long in one place. She also gave up the use of Pokeballs; her Pokemon were just as much human as she was in her eyes, and didn't deserve to have to be in one of those. She even gave them the choice of leaving her, but none of them took that opportunity. They respected Teresa as she did them, and pledged to stick by her side through hell and back. Little did they know what would be in store for them.
- Teresa was bent on still going out and doing treasure hunts. She felt like she had no other purpose other than to get what no one else had been able to possess. Her daughter was two, her son six, at the time she had gathered enough information to start the real challenge; hunting down legendary items. She would leave her two children in the care of one of her Pokemon while she was away. Teresa refused to come back without bringing back something, so sometimes she was gone for months at a time. It was at this time that her designated Pokemon caregiver saw her children more than she did. But her kids weren't disappointed -- they loved seeing what their mom would bring back, and said they wanted to be like her when they grew up. At first, it was merely just a challenge, but she made it a serious thing, and that's when problems started arising.
- Teresa was so caught up in her obsession that she didn't think about the repercussions. She kept on wanting more of everything; getting a mere Lunar Wing wasn't enough. Unsure as to whether or not the few items she'd collected up to this point were real or not, she decided to do more research to find something that was really, truly, something from a legendary. That's when she began reading about the Soul Dew in Alto Mare.
- Teresa came to the city with her two children, so they could see the item she was about to acquire. Unfortunately for Teresa, she didn't care what the repercussions would be if she took it out of Alto Mare. She used some less-than-reasonable methods to find out the location of the Soul Dew, but not in front of her children. Teresa finally managed to find out who knew, and went after them herself. The person currently guarding the whereabouts of the Soul Dew was a rather old lady named Bianca. Teresa could tell that she would die to protect the Soul Dew/ Teresa wasn't overly fond of beating an old lady to a pulp, so that's where her Espeon came in; her Espeon was able to use its psychic abilities to extract the information out of the woman, and Teresa left the woman where she was. Teresa proceeded to enter to secret garden, in the process meeting Latias. While her Pokemon kept Latias busy, Teresa managed to get to the fountain and extract the Soul Dew. She quickly retreated, using a few tactical means to cover her and her Pokemon as they escaped.
- Teresa knew she must have got the real thing; why would it have been protected by Latias if it wasn't? She met up with the person she'd asked to take care of her kids temporarily and told them it was time to go. Her kids were a bit disappointed, but Teresa assured them she had something to show them once they got out of the city. And, as promised, once they were outside the city, she pulled out the Soul Dew to show her kids.
- It wasn't more than an hour later when he appeared. Arceus. That's when Teresa knew she was in trouble. Arceus spoke to Teresa, telling her that she had got much too greedy for her own good, to the point she used brutal methods to acquire such small information as to the whereabouts of a treasure. So, Arceus said he'd come to a decision; he was going to curse her for her misdeeds. But not only her, oh no. Any living relatives as well as Pokemon she owned were to be cursed as well. They would be stuck the age they were now until Teresa had learned her lesson. However, that wasn't all; she was to set up residence in a specific location in Nada Citadel, and to reside there without leaving until she was released from the curse. She would have one month to get there and set up residence, at which time she would be bound to said residence. He also said that she could not let anyone know that she had the 'trophies' from the legendaries, and that any money she made from the things she'd collected over the years could not be used for herself, only for necessary things, such as food and keeping a roof over her head. There were a few other small catches, but she didn't pay any attention to them, as she was too lost in her soon-to-be-misery to care.
- Teresa begrudgingly went back, told the designated caregiver about what had happened, and her children, who didn't understand at the time, that they would have to move again, but this time stay. She packed up her few personal belongings and large amount of what would now be considered antiques, perhaps even artifacts, and headed to Nada Citadel. The place she was supposed to set up residence in was an old two-story wooden house. This is when she got the idea to set up a shop as well, to try and not be as suspicious; an antique shop.
- Ever since then, Teresa has been living in that old house, keeping it as nice as possible and trying to keep it from falling down. No one really paid attention to the shop, as not much advertising was done. Most people would pass by it without a second thought; perfect for Teresa. However, as the years went on and Pravus began causing trouble, people seemed to get a little more interested in her shop. She began selling a few things here and there, so making repairs on the building instead of just temporarily patching it up was finally possible. As her children got older age-wise, but kept their looks, they finally understood what misfortune had befallen them. They could not talk about it, even among themselves, but both had a silent understanding and knowledge of it.
- As technology advanced, Teresa began to get behind on things. Since she could not venture very far from her house and shop, due to an invisible barrier for her, she couldn't get out and about and learn about what was currently going on. And as people around them aged and grew old, eventually passing on, Teresa, her Pokemon, and two kids stayed pretty much constant, save for a few haircuts here and there, or dying of hair. In this newest generation, the younger kids actually took a fascination to her shop, enjoying looking at all the old things. It wasn't until this generation that she started telling stories about how she had obtained certain items, or just about where she'd been. She'd always have a new story to tell, and she began rambling about how she got something if someone so much as looked at a specific item for more than a few seconds.
- The kids began calling Teresa Mama Weaver, and the name has stuck. Now most people around the Nada Citadel know her as Mama Weaver. However, people are finally starting to get suspicious of her. Many years ago, people didn't think twice about her, as people rarely saw her. But now, with kids getting older and her not looking that much older, there have been a few rumors going around, but eventually they die out as people's minds get drawn to other things.
- Teresa has all but lost hope on getting this curse lifted. She figured that she's been forgotten and will be stuck here forever, and will live forever, as the world around her continues to die and be thrown into chaos.
Pokemon:
Name: Jewel
Species: Lucario
Level: 70
Gender: Female
Ability: Inner Focus
Origins: Jewel is Teresa's most recent acquisition; she actually found Jewel abandoned and neglected while passing through the slums of Nada Citadel back in the day. Jewel hadn't always been purple; that's something that's happened more recently. Instead of taking cash payment for some items, a Pravus worker offered to change the color of one of her Pokemon; Teresa chose Jewel.
Personality: Jewel has a caring and almost motherly nature, always looking to take care of others before herself. She does not enjoy battling, and will oftentimes make it seem as though she's weak to throw possible foes off, making them think she wouldn't be worth their time. Jewel gets bored fairly easily, so she usually spends her time outside the antique shop, observing and watching the people of Nada Citadel, especially the young ones. She is overly protective of Teresa's two kids, as although they're wise beyond their apparent years, stuck that age can have its drawbacks, and that's where Jewel would step in. It is also impossible to tell a lie to Jewel, as she can easily pick up when someone is lying. Jewel is soft-spoken and never raises her voice.
Attacks:
- Dark Pulse
- Bone Rush
- Metal Sound
- Swords Dance
- Heal Pulse
- Aura Sphere
- Dragon Pulse
- Extremespeed
Name: Lixie
Species: Rattata
Level: 75
Gender: Female
Ability: Run Away
Origins: Teresa met Lixie on one of her first treasure hunts. She was a rather skittish, yet curious Rattata. She'd run away if Teresa got too close, but she'd always come back to investigate more; this intrigued Teresa, so she eventually challenged the Rattata to a battle. She used a Pokemon she no longer owns to defeat and eventually capture Lixie.
Personality: Lixie is definitely on the cautious side of things; perhaps too cautious. At the slightest hint of danger, she'll find somewhere to hide and watch how things play out before deciding to go back in or stay hidden. However, this has saved her butt many-a-time, as well as assisted in the victory of certain battles. Lixie may stay out of the heat of things at first, but if she's confident something can be done with her there, she'll jump right back into the fray. She preferred her much smaller form, so she eventually requested to have an Everstone, to prevent herself from evolving. So, to this day, Lixie wears an Everstone necklace to show that she could have, in fact, evolved at one point in time, but chose not to. When she talks, she talks fast, and it's oftentimes hard to understand what she's saying.
Attacks:
- Focus Energy
- Crunch
- Super Fang
- Double-Edge
- Double Team
- Dig
- Thief
- Attract
Name: Jeff
Species: Gengar
Level: 85
Gender: Male
Ability: Levitate
Origins: Teresa met Jeff on a trip through the Kanto Region. He'd been caught out in the open as a Gastly with very strong winds, and Teresa had used that opportunity to capture him, rather than see him dwindle away into nothingness. Jeff has been grateful and loyal to Teresa ever since.
Personality: Throughout his evolutions, Jeff has maintained his playful nature. He's always been a prankster, never meaning anyone any harm. However, when it came to battling, he never really was one to follow rules. He's play tricks on his foes or do things atypical of a battle. When in battle, he also enjoys toying with his foe, especially if they're asleep. After being cursed by Arceus, Jeff has been on the verge of losing his mind. He can't go out and about much to do pranks on people, and it's rare for people to be walking by the antique shop at night, so, all in all, he's quite bored, and that's led to some conflict between the residents of the antique shop, though they quickly get resolved, as Jeff doesn't like causing too big of problems. He speaks in a cheeky Australian-like accent.
Attacks:
- Hypnosis
- Shadow Punch
- Dream Eater
- Shadow Ball
- Nightmare
- Toxic
- Venoshock
- Shadow Claw
Name: Jin
Species: Espeon
Level: 82
Gender: Female
Ability: Synchronize
Origins: Jin was a gift to Teresa from Trevor as their one-year anniversary gift. She was mute, but Trevor didn't know that until after he'd bought her; nevertheless, Teresa still loved her.
Personality: Jin was born mute, but that never stopped her from communicating. When she was an Eevee, she'd quickly scratch out what she wanted to convey in the sand, or use objects around to help communicate. When she evolved into an Espeon, communicating became a lot easier; she could use her Psychic powers to either get someone to talk for her, or just put images into the head of the person she wanted to communicate with. Jin isn't a front-line fighter, but she doesn't mind assisting in double-battles. She has a rather care-free nature.
Attacks:
- Psybeam
- Psychic
- Psych Up
- Morning Sun
- Calm Mind
- Telekinesis
- Reflect
- Flash
Name: Lodovico, Vic
Species: Nidoking
Level: 90
Gender: Male
Ability: Poison Point
Origins: Teresa found Vic as a Nidorino. She actually went to one of those old Safari things where you had to pay money and use a certain kind of ball to capture Pokemon, and Vic was the only one she bothered to keep.
Personality: Vic is an avid fighter, and perhaps the strongest of Teresa's Pokemon, but perhaps the least loyal. Not that he doesn't respect his trainer, but wouldn't do anything for her, like most of the rest would. He just lives for the next battle, and his body shows quite a few scars from serious previous battles. Vic oftentimes takes things a bit too seriously and lacks a sense of humor. He speaks in a gruff tone and doesn't exactly care for the English language, and as such, oftentimes butchers it, using wrong words and phrases left and right.
Attacks:
- Focus Energy
- Horn Attack
- Poison Jab
- Hone Claws
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Substitute
- Rock Smash
Name: Gatlin
Species: Ditto
Level: 80
Gender: Genderless
Ability: Limber
Origins: Gatlin was Teresa's most recent acquisition before her trek to Alto Mare. There was nothing overly spectacular about how she got this particular Pokemon; she just happened to run into it, it wanted a battle, she fought it, defeated it, and captured it.
Personality: First and foremost, Gatlin acts more masculine than anything. It is rather careless with what it does and is easily amused. It'll laugh at the littlest of things and make jokes out of just about anything. Unlike most who think everything's funny, Gatlin's sense of humor is actually pretty decent. It doesn't come up with lame jokes just for the sake of making a joke; it'll actually come up with something witty on the spot. In addition to jokes, Gatlin has a bad habit of transforming into some of Teresa's antiques, getting bought, and then sneaking out of the bag and returning to the shop without the buyer realizing they didn't have the newly-purchased item until later. Gatlin's humor can sometimes get annoying, but it usually keeps the mood light around the antique shop. Its voice sounds similar to a somewhat computerized chipmunk voice.
Attacks:
- Transform
ROLE-PLAYING SAMPLE:
Snow was piling up, inches upon inches upon inches, visibility was next to none, and the bone-chilling wind made it quite unpleasant to be outside. A blizzard had ensued in the region, and not many dared to venture out. However, there was one being that didn't mind this kind of weather, mainly due to the fact he couldn't feel much of anything.
A dark, shadowy figure glided slowly along in the blizzard, headed toward the now-abandoned train station. It was extremely difficult, if not impossible, to make out what, exactly, this figure was. Even in a well-lit area, one would find it problematic trying to figure that out. Behind the dark, shadowy figure was another not-so-dark-looking figure. The second appeared to have noticeable attributes, namely some form of wings, rather than just being a large blob.
It's only a matter of time, you know. a voice rang out inside the shadowy figure's head. The shadowy figure temporarily ignored those words as it and the figure with wings finally reached the entrance to the abandoned train station.
<Shall I release Egan?> the winged figure questioned, slowly bobbing up and down in place just inside the entrance.
"Yes," came the slow, whispered response from the shadowy figure. The winged figure made a few odd maneuvers that was hard to make out in the dark, but a few moments later, a red beam shot out of nowhere, and a much larger figure on two legs appeared, the faint outline of a constantly-burning fire on its body present.
"We're here, Egan," the shadowy figure whispered. With a snort, some fire burst forth from the mouth of the large figure and brightened the entrance to the station before dissipating. The flame-producing figure was an Emboar--the winged figure, a Sigilyph. The shadowy figure was... difficult to explain. It appeared to be an over-sized Duskull, but it had vague human attributes, like the fact it had two red eyes instead of the typical one, and the two large appendages at its side that resembled arms.
Yeeees. We're getting close now, I can feel it... the voice said again. It's been a while since we've done this the shadowy figure responded to the voice inside his head.
<About time we tracked down that sorry ass,> Egan said as he narrowed his eyes and looked at the Duskull-'morph out of the corner of his eye.
"Indeed. A shame he's holed himself up in here somewhere. He can run, but he cannot hide from me in a place like this" the 'morph said as he began to proceed into the station. In truth, Tariq could have provided the light himself, but he knew Egan was itching to be a part of this, as would Scarecrow, Illabye, and Kerra.
It wasn't long before Tariq's senses picked up the smell of blood. It wasn't that fresh, but they were certainly getting closer.
"Who knows how deep he's in here. He could be days ahead of us, or perhaps a few hours. He managed to escape once, and I let it slide; this time, however, he's mine. I'll see to that," Tariq's bone-chilling whisper-of-a-voice said.
<Already you sense him? You never cease to amuse me. Let's pick up the pace. If he is in fact days ahead of us... well. There ain't no rest for the wicked,> Egan snorted. Without so much as a nod of what could have maybe been his head, Tariq sped up considerably, Egan running on all fours to give himself a little extra boost with his already-activated Flame Charge. Meanwhile, Tiergan hovered some distance behind, not exactly looking forward to what was going to transpire sooner or later. In fact, he felt sorry for the man that was being hunted by Tariq. People knew that if they were hunted by Tariq, there was no escape. You were going to be found eventually, in most cases sooner rather than later, unless Tariq felt like toying with their minds.
Since Tariq was as what's classified a 'Type A' Duskull Pokemorph, he had no need to eat, sleep, or otherwise get nutrients. He was, essentially, a ghost. He did those things on occasion just to amuse himself, though, or to benefit his Pokemon on the rare occasion, like now. The blood had thinned out a bit, but it was get stronger. They were close now. And in this seemingly never-ending tunnel, time wasn't an issue. As Tiergan caught up, an odd bag attached to his back, he landed and lay himself against the wall and managed to get the odd bag-like thing off his back and onto the ground. From there, he used his psychic abilities to get out what appeared to be food, as well as several other Pokeballs. One by one, a Garchomp, shiny Cacturne, Banette, and Lucario were released.
"Kerra, Scarecrow, Illabye, Arya," Tariq's cold voice greeted each of the Pokemon as they came out. "We are nearly there, so from now on, I want us splitting up in groups so as not to miss anything. He may have split up with his own Pokemon as well, and right now, I don't feel like hunting them down individually, so we will do this the quick and easy way. Illabye, you're with me. Scarecrow and Tiergan, you will be together. Kerra, I trust you can do things on your own, but for the sake of being able to see better in a place like this, I want you with Arya. Egan, you're on your own. Light 'em up, and have fun. For now, we will take a short pause -- eat up, get yourselves psyched and ready," Tariq said. Because there WILL be bloodshed. No mercy, no one left alive! a voice rang strongly in Tariq's head.
It wasn't long before the small group was ready to head off. Even if Tariq had wanted them to stay in one spot longer, he couldn't have contained them. When each group was ready, they each set off at a different angle, so as to cover every bit of the station. Tariq and Illabye were the last ones to set off.
<Are we sticking to the shadows?> Illabye asked, an evil glint in her eyes. Something that could have resembled a chuckle echoed from the darkness within the tattered brown garment around what was supposedly Tariq's body, or lack thereof.
"Of course. That is why I chose you to be with me--we can both blend in with the shadows and make a surprise attack. But, don't worry--I've no intention of making it... quick. I'll have him think it's just you, so he'll let his guard down, and then we can each take our prize," Tariq said with an undeniably malefic tone.
It wasn't long before Tariq could hear the sounds of battles going on elsewhere -- he knew his Pokemon were going to do what had to be done. Or rather, what he wanted them to do. But of course, they weren't opposed. In fact, all of them seemed quite enthused about the prospect of playing a game of Purrloin and Pikachu. He couldn't quite make out what was being said in the battles, but he knew that the last time he'd encountered this man and his Pokemon, he'd been able to inflict some grievous wounds by himself alone. And now that he had his own Pokemon plus himself here... the job would be finished.
