The biggest disadvantage to this power is that she's stuck with it for a few days, so she uses it sparingly. If she were to adapt to a cold weather and went into a hot climate the following day, it was cause severe damage to her system because it can't handle the difference. She only uses it on long hunts. Or if it's, say, winter and on a day's hunt, she will use it. It's cold outside anyways, so why not?

Other Appearance Information: As a young girl, she was always the kid who was small and chubby, but the cutest thing on the block with her radiant smile. Her mother would always put her hair in pigtails and watch her play at the park so happily with the other children. Although, she was commonly known for hurting herself. On accident, of course, but she was rather known for it and she could take the pain without a problem. She would fall off the swings, the playgrounds, and even would trip over something as miniscule as the air around her. Although, there is one very identifying mark on her collarbone. It is a burn mark, something mistaken as a birth mark by some because it has faded over the years, upon the skin of her collarbone and leading up over her neck. It is shaped like the blade of a butcher knife, because her father burned her with a hot knife as a young child.

Now that she had grown, her hair has exceeded down past her beautifully sculpted rear end, tapering nicely at the very ends. Her bangs are shaped carefully around her face, not covering too much of her actual forehead, blending into the rest of her hair whenever it is down, which can tend to be quite often since it does become rather tangled when it's pulled up. Whenever it is pulled back, though, you can actually see her almost seamless and pale face, which is quite exquisite considering a few things about the rest of her body. Those bangs that are cut out upon her head, something that had not been there before she was taken into Pravus by her father, fall perfectly into place around her cheeks and jaw. They frame what's there of her head and present her face nicely, much like a picture frame or even a display stand in some sense. They can be a bother sometimes, but that usually means they need to be trimmed.

She generally shows little scarring on most of her body, including her face. She has nice, high cheek bones with a pale complexion that illuminates her face when partnered with such dark hair. The thing that adorns her face so beautifully and probably happens to be the most noticeable, not to mention stunning, thing about her face is her eyes. Framed with thick black lashes, all of them natural since she has never been one for makeup, that are much like the brambles in a dark forest, lay such gorgeous blue eyes. The blue eyes are a trademark among the women of her family and there hasn't been a single female in the family born yet without those blue eyes. They are much like sapphires, glittering and prominent in that very way, but each set of eyes holds something in them that makes them different from others. Her face is not entirely unmarred, though, as she has a long scar crossing vertically over her left eye. It's her most noticed one.

Her body is very slim, as she has been once she lost all of her baby fat, but that only happened when she was hauled away to Pravus. Of course, she had been horribly fed in the process of such things, since she was forced to focus more on training with her powers. At that time, though, she was unhealthily skinny, where practically all the bones in her body could be seen. Now, though, she is nicely toned with the muscles in all the right place. Her arms, shoulders, and back are particularly a tad larger than the rest of her body, especially when it comes to her skill with the bow and arrows she takes to making and using. Her legs are on the thinner side of things than an everyday woman's, but she is still very strong in that area. When she takes to practicing, she does so with great skill and often in the oddest places, which forces her to obtain muscle in certain places.

It seems to be something of a Tynan Trio (her and her two siblings) to have tattoos. She has plenty of them, and they tend to vary, though do go into accordance with one another. Each of them has their own meaning, and they can be seen on her arms, neck, and some on her back. She also has a number of faint burn scars on her arms. They weren't too severe, so the skin isn't puckered, but it is discolored and oddly shaped. Some are covered by the tattoos on her arms, and part of her thinks she did it on purpose. To hide them.

Personality:

• Intelligent -- She picks up on things very quickly and is naturally all around smart. She is bright, even though she didn't attend a lot of school, and holds quite a bit of general knowledge. She is smart in her field of expertise, in building the arrows and in being a hunter, as well as something of a businesswoman.
  
• Guarded -- She is cautious about many things, but only because she knows better than to simply throw her trust at someone. She has been betrayed enough times to know how to keep to herself. She is reluctant to trust anyone in general.
  
• Calm -- This is how she handles most situations: with a relatively calm exterior. She seems to handle stress well, and it's a good way to do it, almost a passive way to piss someone off, too.
  
• Sarcastic -- She tends to have an incredibly sarcastic attitude, and maybe she just likes irritating people, but she finds it to be more of a relate-able personality trait than giving the cold shoulder. It provides her with some form of entertainment, too, and she enjoys it.
  
• Loyal -- She knows what betrayal feels like and she honestly hates it more than anything in the world, except maybe her brother. Once she finds a reason to trust you and a reason to give you her loyalty, she will, and she doesn't have a habit of breaking it unless, once more, you give her a reason.
  
• Stubborn -- The woman knows what's right and what's wrong in her own head, and she does not like to change her mind once it's made. She is a huge fighter, too, and refuses to give up in most situations.
  
• Cold -- She doesn't like to feel, as she's had her share of bad experiences with it, and she doesn't like to trust other people. It's hard for her to emotionally connect to other people, so she tends to brush off any friendly advances with a cold shoulder.

History:

Alyssia was born in the Hoenn region to a pair that made a decent living as scientists. Her father studied people who were mutants and her mother studied DNA splicing in Pokemon. She had an older brother at this time by the name of Allec, who held four years over her, and adored her and played with her in their younger years. They were particularly close at this time. As young children, they took an interest in play weapons, and she took a quick liking to the bow an arrows.

Her mother was an exemplary woman, perfect for being a mother. She loved her children and spent every moment that she could with them, adoring both of them equally and fulfilling her role as a mother alongside doing her work. Their father was another story. He had a history of alcoholism in his family, and when he didn't have a good subject to study, he fell into drinking alcohol. He tended to have very violent rages when he was drunk and he was throwing things everywhere, breaking things, and he only rarely hit his family. Rarely. But it still happened.

The drunken rages took to Allec most, affecting him in the worst ways. When he reached middle school, he got involved very quickly in what is stereotypically described as the "bad crowd", but back then they were relatively harmless. It was only when Allec reached high school, when Alyssia was eleven, that things became increasingly worse.

Allec began getting into fights at school and one of these fights he ended up picking a fight with someone much bigger than him. He ended up in the hospital because of it. Their father cared little, their mother cooed over him restlessly, and Alyssia was just severely disappointed in him. This was the start of her deep down dislike for her brother, but she did stay with him to help make him better; family support type thing.

Before she turned twelve, while her mother was pregnant, she discovered her power. Weather manipulation turned out to be something incredibly overwhelming for the young girl. Her father came out of his drunken rage, pushing her and pushing her until she would drop unconscious for a full day or more. Her mother chided him and was angry, but he didn't care, he'd made a break through in a cure for a disease mutants seemed to get more often than humans. This caused her bitterness for her father to rise to even greater heights.

Not long after Alyssia turned twelve years old, Alicia, her and Allec's baby sister, was born. The birth of this sister caused Allec to sort of pull himself together, and two years later, he graduated from high school and went into college with all intentions of being a lawyer. He never lost connection with his old friends.

There had been rumors of a group looking to steal information from the company in which her parents worked, and they studied the ones with families closest. Alyssia was out with Alicia. The young girl was five and she was seventeen at this point. Out for ice cream one day, they were quickly grabbed and taken to some place. They were kidnapped and held for ransom. In exchange for crucial information and data, their lives would be spared and they would be returned to their family. When they did not comply, Alyssia took a few hits and ended up suffering a broken arm.

The pair of them were given a constant guard. This Pokemon was a Ninetales by the name of Inferna, and it was easy to tell the beast had her fair shares of battles. She was more of an abused pet than anything, and Alyssia and Alicia eased into friendship with her. Inferna helped to shield Alicia's eyes from the wrongdoing's of the men keeping them. Through the use of her power and Inferna's help, they managed to escape and quickly led authorities to them.

Once things got back to normal, Alyssia finished high school and tried to keep herself occupied in life by going to college. She took it slow and easy, but even that was becoming incredibly difficult. After the experience, she was suffering from slight PTSD and depression. Her mother advised she quit school for a little while, and she did. This was where she received Adelaide. She and Inferna made sure she healed up well, and at least worked a little.

With no one to study, her father returned to his drunken rages, breaking valuable household items. For awhile, he only hit inanimate objects and strayed from hitting his family, specifically since Alyssia had taken an even greater liking to the bow and arrows; she tended to keep them near. She woke one night to one of his rages, having gone to bed early, and walked into the living room in time to see him hit Alicia. The little girl was screaming and crying, and Alyssia wasted little time in getting involved. Her father turned on her angrily, striking her face with a broken beer bottle, leaving the scar she has across her eye today. Authorities were called while Adelaide and Inferna pinned him down. He was arrested for assault, domestic violence, and child abuse.

Thankfully, they didn't need to remain in Hoenn where all the bad memories were, and they moved to Remoor. Allec was already there, acting as a wonderful lawyer (and also involved in dealing illegal arms and Pokemon products, such as furs and the like; not that his family knew), and he helped them buy a home.

Her mother fell ill with cancer, and had no intentions of going to a hospital and getting herself treatment. In no way capable of caring for Alicia, she was sent to live with Allec until Alyssia was capable or their mother healed, but the latter was slim to none. Alyssia and Guinevere care for the mother in her final days. Alicia and Allec visited, and Alyssia remained completely unaware that Allec was exposing their sister to the horrid things he did do.

Her father was out of jail in no time at all, family having helped pay the bail, sway some higher ups, and even for good behavior was he released. He angrily tracked down Alyssia and her mother. Alyssia responded negatively to him coming anywhere them and managed to chase him off. Her mother was having a particular sickness fit that night, and she was in no mood to deal with the bastard's antics. She got her mother to calm down, and to sleep, and she slipped into her room for the night.

Alyssia woke mere hours later to a smoke filled room--and her curtains on fire. Flames consumed the house quickly and she found herself scrambling to get out. Inferna managed to get the other Pokemon out of the house, but was barred from getting back in by the firemen who showed up. She tried to get to her mother, but couldn't get the door down, and was dragged out by Vinny, a Cubone and Hitmonchan splice. Before he could get back in, the house collapsed, her mother and the fireman who was Vinny's trainer inside.

Investigation showed that the fire was started on purpose, and through more investigating, they discovered her father had started it on one of his drunken rages. He had been upset and angry that the woman he married had moved away and taken his children (his "projects", as he so put them) away from him. He was arrested and convicted of murder, attempted murder, and arson. Alyssia attended the funeral of the fireman who tried to save her mother, and she was given Vinny as a gift from his son, as thanks for showing up to pay her respects for the man. The son said he didn't have much use for that type of Pokemon as it was, and that she would be better for him.

She went to visit Allec and Alicia, to tell them fully what happened and so they could carry on with the funeral plans. Alicia was devastated and Alyssia held her while she cried herself to sleep. Only then did she go talk to Allec, and accidentally discovered that he had exposed her to what he was doing; she found out he was trading arms and products of Pokemon illegally. She was beyond livid, and every time it was brought up, they got into slightly physical fights, even at the funeral. Alyssia wanted to take Alicia from him, but was in no financial state to care for herself and her sister.

Alyssia moved into a small apartment, with one bedroom and a storage room (which the Pokemon sleep in, and attended college while holding a part time job to pay for the apartment and her tuition. Eventually, she graduated from college with her degree in technology and gained a general manager position at the store in which she worked. She was also a technician for the company, but preferred to stay in the walls of the city. She took her sister back at this time and supported her happily. She developed her bow and arrows into a specialized weapon, and occasionally creates specialized weapons for other groups who approach her.

Alicia is currently attending high school and is in a good position with her friends, and in general. Alyssia is very sure to keep her away from as many bad influences as she can, even if she is the one hunting for Ezekiel when she has the spare time. Not the greatest thing to expose the young woman to, but Alyssia finds herself addicted to the thrill she gets from it, and the payments aren't so bad either. She hasn't talked to her brother in a long time, and swears that if he ever comes near either of them, she will put an arrow in his eye socket.

Origin: She was something of an abused pet to the people who kidnapped Alyssia and Alicia. Several hundred years old and quite powerful from her war-ridden days, she helped them in escaping and took to staying with Alyssia and the Ninetales called her a friend, and trainer.
Personality: She is a seasoned fighter and it's easy to tell she's gone through her fair share of war, as scars can be seen if certain parts of the fur is lifted. She has her moments of wisdom when she wants to have them, but she is generally and incredibly caring and helpful creature. She is also highly critical, and isn't afraid to show her dislike for someone, even if it's to that person directly.

Gender: Female
Ability: Poison Point, Sheer Force, and Flash Fire
Origin: One of her mother's experiments, she spent enough of her time going through those different tests and became something more of a family guard dog, though was given specifically to Alyssia as a bodyguard and a caretaker.
Personality: She assumes a neutral position among everything, but is perfectly capable of being a vicious opponent and a sharp tongued caretaker. She is watchful and tends to be careful, and gives a lot of insight to several different situations. She makes a very good guard dog and wonderful company, providing good and intelligent conversation.

Species: Marowak x Seadra

Ability: Sniper, Rock Head, and Battle Armor
Origin: This one was her mother's Pokemon, one of her first successful splices, and she stayed with Alyssia after her mother died. She has always done a lot of the care-taking with Alyssia's mother.
Personality: She tends to keep a strong and silent sort of demeanor. She has a very intimidating outward look, but she is a very sweet Pokemon. She is just incredibly shy, though tries to make sure she doesn't look such on the outside. Her appearance helps in that aspect. She is a talented cook, even without hands, and does tend to a small garden of herbs and other assorted plants. She is also capable of being a vicious opponent.

Ability: Lightning Rod, Iron Fist, and Inner Focus.
Origin: He belonged to the fireman that died trying to save her mother, and was given to Alyssia by that fireman's son when she showed up to his funeral to pay her respects. He was also the one to pull her out of the house.
Personality: He is hard-headed and strong, never the type to give in. He isn't overly outspoken and prefers an outsider's point of view to anything else. He will interject when he feels the need to do so, but tends to remain quiet. He is incredibly lax with everything, a very down to earth sort of Pokemon, which can be needed in an estrogen filled environment.
