BASIC INFORMATION:
Full Name: Forrest Edwin Robertson (Married Name: Antias)
Nickname(s): “ Eddy”, “Fore”, “Doofus”, “Mister Robertson”
Gender: Male
Age: 35 years old
Allegiance: Neutral; He dislikes himself more than Pravus for what happened to him
Occupation (Position) : Formerly he was in the theater and a teacher; he is studying linguistics at the moment and has no job. To fill up his days he volunteers at all sorts of student events and other such organizations. He is an eternal student; he gets very reduced tuition.
Species: Pinsir Pokemorph
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:
Hair color and hair style: Forrest was once a man with blonde hair near to white; it hung down to his shoulders in whatever style he decided upon. It was a matter of great pride.
Now it is a dull tope color and cut in a bowl-shape to his head. Hair dye does not work on it or produces horrid results; it is also filled with coarse hairs that were once between the plates of a bug-type. It is attractive, soft, and well-cared for over the rest of it; it is great to run your fingers through. A few grey hairs dot his hairstyle and display his advancing age. He grows no facial hair and keeps the majority of his body shaved—he never enjoyed looking like a gorilla.
Eye Color: Tope with an inner and outer ring of dark chocolate brown around the pupils; he often wears glasses with various tinted lenses. Some days he wears colored contacts—he enjoys waiting to see who notices.
Height: 5’11
Build: Forrest, while he does work out, is not overly muscular or built; most of his exercising is just meant to keep fat away. His legs, as he loves running, are pretty muscular. His upper-body is another matter entirely; did he mention that he disliked gorillas?
Skintone: For the most part it is of a middle-tone between ‘you look like a ghost’ and ‘you look healthy and golden’. There are some patches of skin where it shines oddly and has a shining quality; these vary between normal skin tone and dark brow. The Pinsir DNA within has taken over patches of skin. There are scars on his left wrist as well: white and angry. He usually covers these with bracelets.
Other Appearance Information:
The man is not overly intimidating---he looks more fitted for dance, acting, or ballet than beating anyone up. He was born without any major deformities. The years, like with most people, have left the nearly middle-aged man with some scars and marks. He has two freckles on the inside of his left wrist, three horizontal and one vertical stripe on his left hand (made by a knife), and a burn scar from his first job, on his big toe, from his short time spent as a fry cook.
To be honest though, his life has changed him a lot more than a few scars; most of this can be found in his Pokemon features.
There is a large difference between. Found around his body, what many think are sub-dermals or tumors, are actually defensive spikes—the same found on the horns of a Pinsir. These go in a strip down his back, there are three around his wrists, and one on the back of his ankle. Sharp to the touch, and usually covered by bright and fashionable clothing, they can get annoying. His left hand, and its two middle fingers, resemble those of a Pinsir: heavily jointed, chitin-covered, not as flexible, and tipped with a single hard claw of pure calcium. Three of his toes are the same: the pinky on the left and two middle toes on the right. Plates of chitin are also scattered all over his body; you can feel the odd texture in his hair, around his ankle, circling and protecting various joints, around his neck and coating his entire abdominal area. The plates make it difficult for him to move for flex his muscles at time—especially when he’s trying to bend over.
Most notable of all is the change in his face. He was an attractive male In the beginning with skin always clean of oil and other such things, the lack of facial hair, the high cheekbones, the always visible sculpted chin and lastly, the full lips with their constant sheen of gloss. Now you will miss most o f those features: his chin, mouth, and most of his cheekbones are constantly hidden. He utilizes fashionable or winter scarves when colder; in the summer time he makes use of bandannas. When it is necessary to abandon both of those, due to suspicion, he can pull off a deranged and paranoid man with a constant surgical mask. The question is, what has changed?
Beneath that fabric are a set of mandibles; his top lip is completely normal (though covered in scars). The bottom one has vanished completely and became a set of six small mandibles—teeth made for crushing, tearing, and decimating whatever gets in the way. Unlike the teeth of a pinsir, which are not very flexible, he has gained the ability to move his mandibles in and out like fingertips. He can also pull them back to smile. He hates his new mouth. It usually makes him drool and makes it difficult to speak. It is for this reason that he always carries a small pouch; it is filled with an ASL handbook, a small white board, a smaller chalkboard, his smartphone
He wears clothing. He loves sweaters, vests, buttoned shirts, and silly ties. He only wears jeans on Friday and the rest of the week switches between khakis and lounge pants. You will never see a t-shirt on him (unless it’s needed for an event or school spirit). His favorite colors tend to be on the brighter side; he usually wears drabber colors on a daily basis. For the most part he is fashionable and formal—his glasses change all the time too.

- Can sometimes get a bit too personal
- Has an instinctive fear of large-flying types
- People Pleaser
- Has physical areas where he is less flexible
Personality:
- Gentle and pacifistic – He helped baby birds growing up. The man was a mediator. Forrest has never truly hurt anyone and has no intents to do that. He has no desire to fight—he just sits down and takes it. Forrest is easygoing, patient, and rarely pushy—he is gentle to his core..
- Extroverted – The Pinsir Pokemorph, even if he is not able to speak, finds being around others a relaxing and recharging experience. He enjoys company. Forrest loves watching people. At one time he was an actor and a teacher—which require some comfort with public speaking. The man, while he no longer speaks, still enjoys being around other people and projecting his opinions. He likes being closer to the center of attention
- Fatherly – He loves children. He listens well. He’s encouraging. Forrest would be an excellent father—except his husband does not want to adopt. Forrest is the kind of fatherly that would take his kids to all the events and he does this with students. It is rare that he is not off somewhere.
- Spontaneous – Forrest, on an anniversary, just told Emery they were going abroad. No tickets. No plans. No itineraries. He just went for it. Once or twice a week he promises himself to try something new, do something not planned, and just let loose. It lets him remain younger in the mind. Forrest, being unemployed and with no children, has little to do besides clean.
- Has moments of obliviousness while being mostly cultured and wise – He’s a wise old bug. He’s highly intelligent and well-educated. The issue is that sometimes he will spout an opinion without comprehending the full situation. He also has a hard time noticing sarcasm.
- Easygoing and relaxed - He sees no rush. His husband works like a dog and it bothers him. Deadlines are always flexible—this is why he often got in trouble. Forresti s stable, difficult to fluster, and very at ease. This can sometimes be annoying.
- Amiable and approachable - Forrest is friendly with everyone. He rarely gives the impression of being closed off--sometimes, he is is mistaken for a student. The man eats at their lunch tables. He makes jokes (using his phone). Basically: Forrest goes out of his way to be kind, accepting, and open to everyone.
- Brooding and sometimes depressed - Forrest has had it rough. He is usually a happy person. He is not just one-dimensional and always a happy-go-lucky guy. The Robertson can sometimes sulk or brood. He is embarrassed of his mouth and his inability to kiss his husband. There are just times, mostly when he’s alone, that he lets himself dwell on these things.
- Tries to be an optimist – He is not naïve. Bad things have happened to him. He knows he’s not the center of the universe. The homemaker would much rather believe in good; he pities pessimists. Forrest, even if he no loner talks, rarely sees the glass as half empty—unless he just drank most of it.
- Persistent – You can tell him no; he is not pushy. He /will/ come back to a subject he is passionate about. If you do not return his phone calls, Forrest will call until you do. He will maintain his polite attitude and wait a few days in between. His tenacity is likely known quite well by Emery—the child topic comes up once every three weeks
- Loyal and loving to his husband – Emery is close to the center of his world. He loves the man. He is loyal to him and will often talk about him. Like all couples they fight, usually about adopting a child (and the stiff telling Forrest that he’s not allowed to make that decision). He never forgets anniversaries. He has not yet, and likely will not, cheat.
- Too Big-hearted at times – He’s a sucker. He’s a smart man, a wise man, and a cultured man—he has been in school nearly 40 years without fail. But, with a few bats of the eyelashes or some tears, he works himself to the bone. Most of his time is at committees, charity events, and volunteering. He can sometimes be a bit gullible to sob stories.
BACKGROUND:
History:
- Birth – His father and mother had been married for three years before they had the first of their two children. They were wealthy and grew up as best friends. Instead of finding himself with inattentive parents like some of his peers, Forrest found himself spoiled rotten. Three years later his younger sister was born. Just like her brother, though she had her mother’s eyes, she was light blond. Forrest loved her to pieces
- Early childhood- The man grew up loved and adored. He spent a lot of his time visiting his other relatives—especially his grandparents. Lessons and preschool started quickly. He could play the violin and the flute. He found his greatest love at six: he was the star at a school play.
- Edith – From the first time he walked, among the carefully cultivated yard (they had chosen a cozier house instead of a larger one so it was a smaller garden), Forrest had seen “fairies”. His mother, who loved imagination, encouraged these fantasies. She put up nets around the garden. She left out treats for the creatures. What frightened the usually easygoing woman? The treats were always missing the next day. His mother was quite shocked when, on his fourth birthday, he walked in with a big grin and a jar—inside that jar was the culprit. The female Flowerbebe, Edith, has stayed with him forever after..
- Elementary school – The boy did good in school—a lace-filled private one. He quickly discovered his job. He wanted to be a teacher. The Pokemorph made a lot of friends; a few of which he remains in contact with to this day. He did plays, he was in drama, he sang, and he adored soccer. He spent a lot of time with his sister after school.
- Junior High - Things continued as usual. His life was relatively uneventful until eighth grade. His time at an elite private school ended. His father had made a bad investment and the belts had to be pulled tighter. Forrest found himself in a much less affluent place—he saw children who were hungry, abused, and wearing secondhand clothing. He found himself wanting to help him. He did not eat with his lunch money that whole year—he gave the money to the worst-off students. He figured a few dollars would help. Forrest’s mother did not have the heart to be mean about it. He somehow, after a few bumps, managed to fit in. /li]
[li]Hormones Cause Trouble – He liked men, sometimes ladies, but he really liked the guys. The first boy he asked out, a friend he had a crush on, took it badly. He ended up with a broken nose and a lot of confusion. He had not been aware of his other friend’s homophobic tendencies. He nervously, in his first year of high school, explained the issue to his mother. The woman just smiled and winked—said she had already figured that out. His father on the other hand, while it took him a few months, warmed up to the idea. Forrest found his sister did not care in the slightest.- High School - The money began flowing in again and, after being forced from their upper-class home, the family purchased it back from the bank. The blonde-boy found himself torn away from his other school and his one or two boyfriends. He continued to excel and before he knew it, with mortar on head, he was graduating. He received a car and his things dropped off at a college.
- His Degree – Forrest went into a private liberal arts college in a region outside of his native one: Remoor. While encouraged to take on business, to assume his rightful place as heir to the reformed family company, he followed his dreams. He went into teaching—science, math, and history. He also had a minor in the dramatic arts. During this time he was the lead for a very popular rendition of Hamlet. He slept around a bit—mostly with men. He also experimented with alcohol. Forrest tried his best to still volunteer for the less fortunate. The man slipped up once or twice but still graduated near the top of his class—for his bachelor’s program.
- Master’s Degree – He found it hard to get a job and at 22 he enrolled in a master’s program for education. He also handled a few theatrical productions. Did I mention, this college, known as Avarius—was in Remoor? Forrest reconnected with his sister—a freshman herself. He also received a gift: a Heracross named Sampson.
- Graduation is Bittersweet – His sister had followed in his footsteps. They were both left in dire straits with few job offers in the field of education. His sister had joined Pravus as a secretary and tried to help her older brother. She had an idea. Tutoring was all they had. Then, there was an offer from the big-P: Pravus.
- A Bad Decision – Forrest was offered a cushy position in the Pravus academy for orphans. He just had to agree to undergo the Pokemorph procedure—to show the kids it wasn’t scary. He picked a Pinsir. When he awoke, in pain, the thespian came to a horrid realization. Not only did he drool, he also had no bottom lips. He spoke clumsily and clunkily. His sister did as well. a while, sat in the darkness and in the hospital, he had contemplated suicide. He still goes into a dark period of brooding each and every time the anniversary of the surgery comes around. There are scars on his wrists from this dark period. A call from his sister and medication—at the perfect time—pulled him from depression.
- A Little Job – He then, to add insult to injury, found out that his deal had soured. It was hard to teach children when you could not talk. Instead, giving him some money for it, they hired him on as a consultant (“spy”). Forrest, paid a bit of money each week, was sent to various charity events to scout and listen—he had to hide his identity in that time. One day, like any other, he went to an event—one that dealt with encouraging sign language and understanding for the deaf.
- Emery – He was meant to just scope the brunette out. It was never meant to be serious—or to end with a date. Forrest never should have went; he did anyway. Within three dates he was head over heels for his own chameleon. He hated it though. Forrest refused to show the bottom part of his face—as he had at all the events. A scarf had covered it and he feigned severe scars from the war. The clothes remained on. Pokemorphs were still a secret at this time. They continued to bump into each other at these events—sometimes at Pravus prompting. Most of the time, Forrest went out of his way to talk to the man.
- Their first kiss – The lips had touched his and the violet scarf fluttered to the floor. Instantly, reacting with fear, the blade-sharp mandibles had attacked. The taste of copper filled his mouth. Tatters of skin stuck to his mandibles. Forrest, straightening his low-cut tunic, raced away with a garbled apology. The use of speech therapy—just for a year or two at that point—almost made it understood. He sent a bouquet of flowers in the hospital. He cried. He sobbed. Then, nervously, he explained the situation. Emery saw the sadder part of him. Forrest was scared of being left.
- Happiness and War – The romance quickly heated up. They became more physical. Forrest began to find little clues of an oncoming marriage proposal. He waited with baited breath—for longer than he expected. Instead of marriage he was at a funeral---comforting his lover after the death of his brother. Pravus caught off funding to Forrest during this time. His sister, sent to battle, lost an ear and a foot. It put his life on hold.
- Stressed out- He thought Emery was going to collapse. The boy just worked, worked, and worked with little fun. Forrest, truly wishing to calm this (and be with his beloved), proposed over dinner one day. All of the dirty money he had earned through spying had been used to buy a ring. He even took the scarf off to say his proposal aloud. Emery, of course, said that he accepted—Forrest felt nearly complete.
- Passing of the Torch – Forrest felt useless for those first few years; he found it hard to stick with a job—as he had to keep his Pokemorph features a secret. Then one day Emery’s father passed on. Forrest was sad and shook out of his own funk—Emery needed him. The man claimed he was fine. Forrest still pampered him and treated him like a sickly prince. The last testament of that nasty old man, who made Forrest clack his mandibles, was a bit of a shocker. In that will was money and a whole lot more headache. Forrest secretly wished his husband had never been given that position as headmaster—though he would never say it.
- The House and The Headmaster – Forrest found himself with purpose. He began organizing events like crazy and directing plays. He tried to get the campus engaged. The students helped fill the gap his now-more-absent beloved had left behind. Emery soon joined him in the love of the campus. They moved into an old ivy building—a few students, on scholarship, shared some rooms on the lower levels.
- Allegiances are Questioned – Pravus came knocking at his door one day—or their female representative. Forrest had nearly forgotten his promise. What did they want with his Emmy? With a frown he began to feed them the tiniest tidbits. The Pinsir Pokemorph found himself torn and still is—this is the only secret he has ever kept from Emery. He does not want his secrets getting out and some less than desirable aspects of his past ruining things. So, for now, he just goes for a monthly meeting. The tension is getting more pronounced—Forrest knows, pacifist or not, that it might be time to take a stand. He just hopes it does not go badly.

Personality: Friendly, sweet, loving, and headstrong—this little fairy reminds Forrest a lot of his younger sister. Edith adores reading, languages, and books. Children, above all else, are her favorite things in the world. She enjoys pretending to be a real fairy. She approves of her trainer’s choice in partner, unlike some others, and truly adores Emery. Out of is Pokemon, mostly left at home, Edith is the one always around. The flower she chose to guard was the centerpiece from the Antias-Robertson wedding bouquet. Anyone who comes across as sexist, homophobic, or racist—while her trainer would shake his head—will get a very stern talking to.
Attacks:
- Leaf Blade
- Magical Leaf
- Moon Light
- Energy Ball
- [Fairy Attack]
- Teeter Dance
Name: Sampson
Species: Heracross
Level: 52
Gender: Male
Ability:
Origins: His sister, knowing he loved bugs, bought it for him when he graduated (with her college loan money). Oddly enough, also getting her a gift, he traded her a Ledyba for it.
Personality: Sampson adores the ladies and a few times might have bearly been charged with sexual harassment; this is why he stays at home. His horn has a habit of ‘accidentally’ going up skirts as he ‘vigorously’ checks for ‘dress-code violations’. Besides that though he seems like a bit of a fraternity boy and is one of the mascots for the football team. He adores sports and physical activity. When the pedal hits the road though he is loyal, compassionate, and a bit of a knight. He just needs to stop the drinking and roving hands.
Attacks:
- Seismic Toss
- Gyro Ball
- Tackle
- Focus Punch
- Leer
- Mirror Coat
- Feint
- Aerial Ace
Name: Keith
Species: Starmie
Level: 46
Gender: Male
Ability:Natural Cure
Origins: He found it one day while going about on the family yacht. Another ship’s propeller had badly injured it. He caught Keith and nursed him to health. He did not wish to leave.
Personality: There is little water in the house—unless you count the spa. This guy spends most of his days in the fountain acting as a tour guide and wealth of knowledge. HJe loves to prattle on about things no one cares about (especially to students). He can also be a bit thick to this disinterest at times and has been known to bore Emery with his lectures. He teaches a few swimming classes (mostly to get pool access). Keith, like the rest, is an all around cool cat—who speaks in a very out of date manner. He’s an old guy.
Attacks:
- Water-Gun
- Swift
- Confuse Ray
- Telekinesis
- Hail
- Protect
Name: Glinda
Species: Sylveon
Level: 41
Gender: Female
Ability:
Origins: A gift from a student that could no longer care for it; Forrest took it in.
Personality: Just like the witch in Wizard of Oz, the good one, this girl has some issues. She is shallow, vapid, and overly bubbly. She is obsessed with popularity and fashion. While this is helpful for her two ‘male friends’ it can get annoying for students. She considers herself holier than everyone else—as if it had been her brought down from a long line of pedigree Eevees. GLinda, while she might whine about it, does have some good in her. She was just too spoiled for a college student’s pet—Forrest will break her of that soon (as soon as he stops giving her treats).
Attacks:
- Covet
- Growl
- Tackle
- Moonlight
- Psychic
- [Fairy Attack]
- Silver Wind
