Age: 19
Allegiance: N/A – She did support Team Rocket for a year or two

Species: Human (though she may have a latent mutation)
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:
Hair:
Madeline, like most everyone else in her family, suffers from a condition known as “ginger”vitis. While not as carrot-colored as her younger cousin, Aubre McKenna, it is still a shocking and bright shade; it reminds many people of a flame. The first time her ‘friend’ Bug called a hothead she decided to dye it; while she dislikes the way it looks now, and is waiting for it to grow out, the tips of her bangs are still the color of egg yolks. This color fades after an inch or two and results in a patchy look; it refuses to be banished or relinquish its control on her head for a few more months.
The length and styling seems at odd with one another. The last year has been spent trying to encourage it to grow out again after cutting it into an ugly-ass cut to be a ‘rebel’; it now rests just below her shoulders (with the yellow tip of it swinging between them). The front of her hair is often shaggy and unkempt. The back, just to keep it out of the way, is usually thrown into a bun or tight pony-tail. The dye left the tips with a dead quality. One day, when she feels like entering a salon, she’ll get it cut properly.
Eye Color: If you mixed her father’s eye colors, orange and red, you would end up with a bright shade of orange. Her mother’s eyes are a similar shade. The iris is almost a perfect shade match for her natural hair color. Her lashes are orange as well.
Height: 6’3”
Build: Madeline’s mother was her model and her father built like a linebacker—he was a very large man (even if his frame fit his body). This young woman inherited a mixture of the two that her father did not want. She is tall like both of her parents; her mother is just over six feet even. She also has feminine assets in all the right places—she is curvy like her model of a mother. The rest of her looks a bit out of place: her hands and feet are large on her frame. Her shoulders are also large. Constant running and an obsession with sweat, something her father hated, have produced muscles—her shoulders won’t go away.
Skintone: Madeline has pale skin, surprisingly so, for all her time spent outside (which is a lot of it). She sometimes, mostly out of habit, still applies concealer to cover up the birthmark on her arms.
Other Appearance Information:]
When she was younger, from birth until about 16, she wore and dressed as her father and mother ordered. Her choices were severely restricted in that regard. These included dresses, modest skirts, colors she hated, high-heels, and make-up that might have killed a horse. Minus one or two fashionable jackets, such as a durable denim one, Madeline gleefully tossed these things into garbage, stomped them into oblivion, and burned them the first chance she had, Most of her closet now consists of things she was never allowed to wear: see-through tops, leather jackets, the god sent pants. tennishoes, pajamas, clothes that don't match perfectly, gaudy jewelry, earrings that aren't gemstones, bangles, boots, and did I mention jogging pants. Her fashion is rather eclectic and filled with practical, comfortable, and sturdy things. One odd habit she retained, even in all her rebellion, is the fact that she does tend to get them in a proper fit or size. She also has discovered the wonders of sports bras; this leads to an ability to sometimes lose her gender in her bulk and occasionally baggy outfits.
Her hands are obviously not those of someone who worked all their life--until recently. A few callouses, mostly from her motorcycle, now exist on her hands. She still uses lotion as she hates having nasty and rough palms. Her muscle tone--while not as obvious as when she first started training in Team Rocket--is still visible. Her father would have sneereda t his daughter looking like a 'deranged mountain gorilla'. A few scars mar her skin: one from a knife wound above her hip (that she passed out after), one on her back when Kole was a bit too liberal with his belt, two on her left arm from when Edgar snapped at her in her first encounter, and a single scald mark on her ankle that resulted from touching a hot motor the second time she drove her motorcycle by herself.
There are also some homes: she has taken out the tongue piercings, dropped the ones in her ears down to a single pair of mismatched hoops, and taken out the nipple-piercing she took in a bet with her newfound 'friends'. She also has a single tattoo that Bug paid for in honor of her running away from her 'shitty ass parents'. It is a rose that curls around the bottom of her jeans. It contains the latin phrase 'Veni, Vidi, Vici" in the vines surrounded the flame color rose; her mother's name and brothers name are visible as well--her father's is buried in a ball of thorns.
She looks a bit awkward in her body: she is a very large and husky girl with the waist and behind of someone smaller. Her hands, while they fit, feel large. She has hard times finding shoes that fit. The girl does carry herself with confidence--even if that sometimes means into a too-short door frame. Her fists commonly bunch. She still wears make up when required, like at work: simple concealer, lipstick, and occasionally mascara. Her body is just an odd mix of model-stature and linebacker. She would likely look like a mountain gorilla without working out (this is actually an exaggeration--just how she feels--the difference is not that bad).
It is mostly her dress, the dyed hair, and sometimes gaudy accessories that are meant to send a message across: Fuck you Dad..

Personality:
- Hates being controlled - While she'll do what you say for a paycheck, she is not an easy horse to lead to water. She hates feeling powerless and without control; this is how she felt for most of her life. Most of the time, just to be an ass, she will purposely go against it. It also extends that she'll tell pushy people to 'cool their jets'.
- Adrenaline junkie and believer in 'you only live once' - Most of her life was spent cooped up indoors with this musical composer, this intrument, this tutor, and at stupid parties. She rarely had very much fun and cherished those moments. As she grew, and was exposed to things like biking and motor cycles, she found herself hooked. Madeline is now trying to make up for all that she missed.
- Broadcasts a tough outside – People in Team Rocket used to make fun of her for saying 'please and thank you' in a 'richy' accent. The teasing knocked most of that out of her. Madeline now presents a unified and tough outside to the world. She is unlikely to easily back down from an argument either--she never got to do much of that.
- Obstinate and prone to grudges - If you are a McKenna, and stubborn is not a trait, you're doing it wrong. She is a headstrong woman with her own opinions. She holds them strongly and for a long time--even when she starts to feel guilty about it; she hates the idea of feelings controlling her as well.
- Not entirely certain of her actions - Sometimes, as she has been lead most of her life, she turns to ask for advice and finds no one--but a dumb dog--standing behind her. Madeline will not admit she is sometimes lost and won't ask for help; no one is getting her back in a gilded cage.
- Blunt and extremely honest – Too often in childhood did she have to call a fat lady 'pretty', compliment 'gourmet' garbage, and flirt with stupid boys she disliked. Madeline is now on the opposite side of the spectrum; the crowd she hung out with taught her that. She will tell you her true opinion--even if you don't ask her for it.
- Hides her feminine and more ‘frail’ feelings – Her father disliked overly emotional children and this is one of the things she kept. Most of her crying was, and still is, hid away. It was seen as weakness and even Bug, known for his carefree atittude, snapped at her the first time she started sobbing in front of him. Madeline tries to ignore these 'goody-two shoes' feelings that urge her to cry, to smile at children, and to help every old bag out there cross the road. She won't be frail. She's not a dainty daisy.
- Resents her father -- if this isn't obvious now, it should be. Most of her rebellion and bad traits result from a leash and harness pulled too tight in child hood. Kole McKenna had no confidence in his daughter and now she has none in him. She'd go and get an STD if she thought it would get on his nerves
(and make him pay attention to her and not work) - Overly masculine in behavior -- She sits with her legs open, whenever someone is watching, and opens them wider when someone comments. She takes joy in burping. Passing gas, and not having to 'excuse herself' with a kind 'please-and-thank-you', is like heaven to Madeline. She is overcompensating for all those years she did not get to fight, roll in the dirt, and acknowledge the stronger side of herself
- Enjoys the feeling of a gang – It was the first true family she felt she had. She would be sucked right back into that lifestyle, of dangerous camaredie and 'harmless' pranks, if someone would offer. She felt tough. She felt in charge. Madeline felt as if she could take on the world; the girl felt that she could take on her father--with all these people behind her.
- Partier – Drinking, drugs, and just acting like a dweeb are part of her new repertoire. It helps stave off her loneliness and regain the sense of her 'gang' with none of the crime.
- “Foot – in – Mouth Syndrome” - Sometimes her former wealth, privilege, and biases sneak out. Sheh as looked down on the truly poor for being 'lazy' a few times. She usually feels bad immediately afterward.
- Smartass – She cracks witty comments and jokes, usually with a wide grin, and means little harm. Sometimes these can hurt people and hurt them badly. She then will smirk (and try to ignore how guilty she feels).
- Feels abandoned – Her father, Bug, her mother, her brother---all have left her alone and adrift. She denies the urge to cry and curl into a timid little ball, like a certain other McKenna, and keeps her head up. This is why she tries to keep people at a distance now.
- Extremely Protective -- If you're her friend--she'll protect you to her dying breath. She'll aslo try to get you to do bad things if she feels like it. She will never let any of those she loves get hurt, however. She believes in sticking together.
BACKGROUND:
History:
- Born – Madeline was born nineteen years ago to her father and mother. Their names were Kole McKenna and Jessica “Jess” McKenna. The former was a middle-ranked man in a large corporation and her mother a model he had met during a marketing campaign; the pair were a year apart. Her father had wanted a boy. He did not enjoy not getting what he wanted—and had no idea how to deal with women.
- First Two Years- Madeline seemed to help her father move up; she became daddy’s little girl and was drug all over with them in all kinds of outfits. He hated when she cried and would often hand her off to her mother or whatever woman was nearby.
- Daycare and Preschool – Jessica wanted to take care of her daughter and stayed at home until the girl turned four. After that, wanting his daughter not to be an ‘anti-social’ recluse, and to make connections, Kole sent her to a wealthy daycare center a few miles away. A lot of her fun disappeared after that—she was too old to be playing in dirt.
- Daddy’s Expectations – He wanted a perfect child. An honor roll student, which she was (she also graduated on time with an online program's help with good grades (even if she was ribbed for it), and a girl who loved frilly things. Madeline, born with a tomboy dislike of lace and dresses, wanted nothing to do with it. Kole would make the square peg fit into the round hole--no child of his would take power away from him.
- Daddy’s secret – Accomplishing this was very simple for the man; it did not take much to turn the fussy and headstrong child into the angel he wanted. He did not even have to convince her. Kole had a mutation: he could look into someone's eyes straight for a few minutes, or hold them as they slept, and implant thoughts and desires. It was a simple matter to tell the baby to stop crying like a banshee, make her love that stupid sundress, and to sit still during playtime. As a father, one who spent a lot of time with his child, the control did not seem the least bit weird.
- Mother’s secret – Her mother never knew about her husband's abilities (and likely had been told to never figure it out). She ddi have a secret her and Madeline kept from daddy. Every week, claiming to go to dance lessons, they went to a martial arts class. They had fun. Sometimes it was a theater class. The fighting, imagining the stupid kid was dad with his funny words (as the ability wore off after only a few hours), was the redhead's favorite. She loved her mother--even if she was sometimes a shallow, not-so-sharp, and silly woman.
- A Gift – For her tenth birthday, as was traditional for girls in Kole’s family (for boys it was six), Madeline was gifted her first Pokemon. She had picked out everything else in the store but what she was ultimately given. It was a Cleffa. She had picked out a Squirtle, Joltic, Cyndaquil, Sandshrew, and Minccino. Her father just told her to deal with it.
- Let’s Party – The first few years here were filled with more stupid galas, more stupid outfits, more curtsying, and more ass-kissing for everyone and their /dog/. Madeline wanted to impress her father and kept trying her best. She worked herself hard and just complained and whined to her mother in private. This continued until the girl turned thirteen. The powers weren’t working as well.
- “No” – He wanted her to be nice and eat lunch with some smelly boy just because he was her boss’ nephew. This same child had shoved her, grabbed her arm rougly, and sneered at her. He had pulled at the Cleffa’s tail. Madeline told her father ‘no’. She was slapped and sent to her room without food. She lapsed back into obedience—until he came.
- Bradley “Bug” – He approached her one day at the library. He was the kind of boy her father hated—the one who made wise-cracks at the teacher and threw drool covered spit balls. Suffice to say, thinking it was her own little secret, Madeline became fast friends with him. He began to show her things: riding a bike with no helment. Skate-boarding, sneaking into locker rooms and pranks. Madeline loved it. This friendship continued until shortly after her sixteenth birthday—the boy, then a senior, kissed her and grinned.
- A gift – Joel gave her something more fitting to her personality; Kole grumbled about the damn nasty thing a lot—it was not for his little girl. He let her keep it--as long as Jackson stayed in his pokeball at parties.
- A baby brother is on the way – Her father was ecstatic. A baby boy was coming. It was his. He let loose some of his strangle hold on his daughter as the future heir to his miniature empire (which he had grown over the years) gestated. Madeline was jealous during this time and found a lot of pampering replaced with ignoring. The rebellion grew more severe. Her father hit her again. Madeline never realized his controlling was just his attempt to protect her. It was too late.
- Let’s run - The redhead clmbed from her window that night with a bag and an address in mind. Bug had moved into his own, very shitty, apartment after highschool. She passed her first prostitute and steeled herself. He welcomed her in and then threw a pamphlet at her face---Team Rocket. The redhead did not care about their reputation—her father would hate it and that was enough.
- Let’s Fit in – She slept with Bug. She moved into the dormitory. She started partying and drinking and began to lose a lot of her overly polite and socialite edge (which got her made fun of). She took missions. Madeline threw her first punch. And Bug taught her how to ride a bike.
- An Experiment – They offered her money. Her friend pushed it. At the last minute he chickened out. Madeline went through with it. What followed was an attempt to create a mutant from a normal human. It failed. All that came was a headache and months of constant nausea. It was at this moment that Madeline realized that these people didn’t care—they just were using her. She lumped Bug, the coward in with them, and resigned her position.
- Let’s go home - Madeline raced home just after her 17th birthday. Her attitude had changed and she likely would have been thrown out if the door had opened. Her house was empty. There was nothing there. In the mailbox she found a note, with a new address, and a plane ticket to 'Remoor'. She stuffed them into her pocket with a huff and hot tears--she didn't need those dumbass bastards anyway.
- The Weasel – When she went to leave a furry thing jumped at her from the shadows--barely a baby. It latched its teeth in her hand as if intent on eating it. The thing looked half dead. Madeline grabbed it by the scruff and took it to the shelter she was at. He followed her around after that for some reason she never understood.
- The Macargo— Some person needed help getting their car out of the mud. Madeline, when no one was looking, helped the poor old lady. The next thing she knew, as she figured the girl looked cold, she thrust the egg of a fire-type into her hand. When it hatched--revealing a Maccargo, Madeline understood why people disliked bugs. She kept it with her though and enjoyed the motherly feelings that came from caring for it.
- The Move – She got pissed. She kicked in some rich bastard's headlights after he grabbed her ass. A battle ensued. Madeline was threatened and decided her home region was no longer the place to be; Pravus had also been told she had abandoned her duties and other nonsense. The tickets weere crumbled. She thought they'd be turned away. It turned out her mother spent well. With a flash of ID the girl flew into Remoor in first class--she loved how the rich-bastards treated her like scum and just to be mean put her legs on the seat in front of her to leave muddy streaks.
- Hey there, Aubre – Madeline had heard of the attack from an email her mother sent her in desperation. She had tried to visit and had no money. When she reached Remoor, and ran into her cousin at the mall, Madeline was glad to have family back. She missed the more boisterous, smart-ass, wild, and outgoing cousin.
- Hey Mom – It was an accident--just a day at the park. A stroller had fallen over and Madeline helped the woman pick it back up--and found herself quite surprised when the woman turned around to thank her. She had thought she went unrecognized until Jessica had crushed her in a tear-filled sob. She rolled her eyes and scoffed to the watching people--and hugged the woman. She met her brother again (though he seemed scared of everything but her hair). She said hello to his Cyndaquil and walked with them all that day. She was fine. When Jessica 'threatened' to tell Kole, just to get his college-aged daughter back under his thumb, Madeline made an excuse to leave. They talk on the phone a lot and she drops some of the tough act. She refuses to see her father. She has even babysat her brother once or twice.
- A “Real” Job – She was hired at a store--doing things like kicking in hubcaps and taking one or two gambling bets had lost their appeal. She kept her hard-edge and looked for normal work (aside from battling). It was just being a clerk at some stupid fishing shop; she somehow made it to assistant manager as the old guy liked her 'spunk' (read: breasts).
- Present Day - Madeline lives in a rathole. Her father would have condemned her building. She likes living rough--except when the water goes out. She likes being on her own--even if she is bad at keeping it all together. When it sucks she just remembers one thing: she could be Aubre or a mindless meat puppet married to some doddering older guy for her father's company. The roaches aren't so bad.
Pokemon:
Name: Edgar “Yakuza”
Species: Linoone
Level: 55
Gender: Male
Ability: Independence
Origins:[/b Madeline found the blue-eyed devil sitting in the bushes outside her old house. He tried to attack her. She liked the way he looked and, ignoring her bites, wrangled the nasty little beast and took him home.
Personality: He's crass. He's nasty. He's an ass. He's uncultured. He is the thing her father hated most about society. He swears every other word. He is also prone to being prideful. Yakuza hates big words and they piss him off. He's blunt and sarcastic as well. He hates the stupid slug and the Minnchino even more--he'd eat it if someone let him.
Attacks:
- Swords Dance
- Rock Slide
- Steath Rock
- Swift
- Gyro Ball
Name: Jackson “Jack”
Species:Sandshrew
Level: 55
Gender: Male
Ability: Sand Veil
Origins: Uncle Joel gave it to her; he figured it fit the girl better than that ditzy and useless Clefable. Her father treated this little guy like shit.
Personality: He's a good little guy. He's scrappy, friendly, a great listener, and an even better fighter. For some reason, likely her father's influence, he turns into a starry-eyed toddler every few weeks. This would have increased the 'rat's' 'cuteness' factor for any potential friends. Madeline lets him go to work with her all the time--he doesn't hurt anyone. He rarely speaks and suffers a bit from shyness--which he compensates for. When he does speak, usually raising claws to do so, it is quite poignant and usually a very good idea.
Attacks:
- Swords Dance
- Rock Slide
- Steath Rock
- Swift
- Gyro Ball
Name: Helena “The Queen”
Species: Maccargo
Level: 40
Gender: Female
Ability: Flame Body
Origins: A friend of hers, one she helped get his car unstuck in winter, gave her the egg as a gift. At first she found the thing revolting.
Personality: Helena is apathetic, easily bored, and reminiscent of a Queen of Hearts. She often falls asleep. She speaks rarely and when it is, as she sees no reason to yap when it is going well, Helena rarely says nice things. This Maccargo was raised during the thug phase and finds the sudden boredom in life rather boring. She considers Madeline her older sister. She loves infuriating the Mightenya--it's her best hobby (as a snail rarely gets out).
Attacks:
- Lava Plume
- Recover
- Will-o-Wisp
- Harden
- Reflect
Name: Mabel
Species: Cinncino
Level: 61
Gender: Female
Ability: Technician
Origins: Her father gave it to her when she was ten years old. Madeline just kept it because the damn thing would die on its own.
Personality: Mabel is a "blonde" (just to be simple). She is ditzy. Mabel is obsessed with nothing but shoes and fashion. She has pouts. Basically at her core, Mabel is every materialistic, shallow, and nasty thing Madeline hated about her old life. The thing always whines about everything. Then again, for all her annoying behaviors, this little thing gave her a shoulder to cry on when her dad was a horrible person. She can shut up for five minutes when crying is done.
Attacks:
- Helping Hand
- Bullet Seed
- Rock Slide
- Aqua Tail
- U-Turn
Name: Michael
Species: Tyrogue
Level: 35
Gender: Male
Ability: Vital Spirit
Origins: Aubre found it being put up for adoption, thought of her cousin and her fighting, and bought him. Madeline is thankful for him.
Personality: Michael was abandoned due to a limp in his left leg that results from him trying to save his young trainer from a fight. When the boy grew, not sure of how to deal with a fighting type who could not kick well, he left him up for adoption, he left him behind. Michael is strong: he meditates daily, he tries his best, he works too hard, and he falls. He is very prideful and prone to angry outbursts when people point out his limp. He never complains.
Attacks:
- High-Jump Kick
- Bullet Punch
- Mach Punch
- Aqua Tail
- Role Play
