LOGAN, HYDE, GARRISON
24. HUMAN. MALE. NEUTRAL. CUBICLE SLAVE. GRADUATE STUDENT.
ABOUT THE PLAYER:
OOC Account: Feather
What do you wish to be called?: Fae, Feath, and Feathy
Other Characters: Aubre, Enigma, Dalton, Madeline, Keldeo, Harper, Davy, Madame, Ezekiel, Vana and Jackie
BASIC INFORMATION:
Full Name: Logan Hyde Garrison
Nickname(s): "Log", "Navy", "Goatee", "Stubborn", "Bro", and "Sneeze"
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Allegiance: Neutral
Occupation (Position) : He is a cubicle worker in a small insurance company--which he is using to pay his way through graduate school. He hates it.
Species: Human
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:
Hair: Logan has hair that is dark blue and obviously not black. It was inherited from his grandfather--and stands in stark contrast to all the blonde women in his family. He wears it short and spiked up top (sometimes because he did not brush it). The color carries down into the goatee that sometimes shifts into a small beard--these sometimes get out of control.
Eye Color: Logan has eyes that some call 'ghostly'; they are actually silver in color and glint oddly when the light catches them. These are just lucky genes and, unlike with his youngest sister, do not indicate super-powers.
Height: 5'11"
Build: Logan is muscular, as he enjoys working out, and a bit stockier in build. He is not a twig nor a body-builder. He hovers in between. He will admit to hating running.
Skintone: He seems to be of Italian or Mediterranean origins and has a dark skin-tone that seems to state he spends a lot of time in the sun (which isn't necessarily true).
Other Appearance Information:
People find him intimidating--at least some people. He has dark skin that comes from some days spent outside and partially from genetics. He has a bigger build than some other men and is obviously not a dainty daisy. His hands are large for his size and muscular. His arms are also the same--his legs seem weak when compared to the rest of him (he was never a fan of running). Scars dot his body--most of them from being a dumb teenage boy. There is one on his right hip, one on his left arm from where he fell out of a tree at seven, some on the finger he burned and no longer works correctly, and a semi-circle on his foot from a hot-nail going through it. Most of his skin is unblemished and free from the acne that sometimes plagues people in his age bracket. He also has a farmer's tan. He does shave under his arms and his face--most of the rest of him is only moderately hair; he is lucky that, unlike his dad, he does not look like a gorilla.
Tattoos cover various parts of his body. His knuckles, the hardest to cover up, hold the words for love and peace in an older language. He just liked that they made him look tougher. His left bicep has his family's names on it in plain letters in various colors and styles (that match each of his sisters). On his opposite arm is his son's name and birthday--and sadly, as he can't afford to erase it--the name of the cheating woman who kidnapped his kid. Most of these are always covered up--as business dictates--and from a time when he was less grounded and mature and more rebellious. His ears are covered in piercings as well--two studs in his left ear, and a cuff on the opposite one. He won't touch anything other than his ears. He keeps his beard on at all times--he likes it (even if people say it makes him look like a mobster).
When it comes to clothing, Logan has two sides to him. There is the side he honestly is--he likes loose, comfortable, and rugged clothing; this side is the one with leather jackets, a love of lounge pants, and adoration for dull and neutral colors. He also wears rugged and white ankle-socks. In this form he will often pull on a pair of gloves. These all seem to fit him. The other side makes him look like a gorilla in a suit. He wears cheaper suits and blazers with a variety of dress shirts--in pastel colors and whatever ties his sisters decide is best for him (usually stupid). He looks a bit blocky and mafia-like in these things. He wears dress shoes--which are hard to find in his size and takes out all the piercings. He covers his tattoos with concealers and also throws on his reading glasses. He really can't wait to take all that shit off when he gets home.
He spends most of his time with a frown, scowl, or generally sour attitude--even if he is at his core a nice guy. He is trying to finish college and hates the stuff he has had to take up in between. His brow and face, both boxy and built craggy, make it hard work to seem like he's in a good mood. He looks like a thug--which he isn't. He's more likely to help someone needlepoint than hurt anyone.

Personality:
- Dependable - If you call him, even at four in the morning, Logan will be there. He is always on time. He will stand in the rain and hold an umbrella. Logan will wait. He doesn't let people down--he hates when people do that to him and avoids doing it to other people. He also will not make a promise he can't keep--for the same reasons.
- Grumpy - He's a grump. He's rarely happy and prone to frowning and sour comments. He likes to snort, be a smartass, and just sit there sullen. He hates dealing with the people at his work and it shows in the rest of his day. He can't wait to be out of that place in a year or two.
- Rebel - This has mostly faded but he still enjoys pushing things and being a rebel (though being a father changed it slightly). He likes drinking, tattoos, piercings, playing devil's advocate, and just being a pain in the ass. Motorcycles and bikes are his thing at the moment. As said earlier though, as he feels responsible for more in his life, he's cooled a lot of this down. He loves chattering about it.
- Generous - He'd give you his shirt, left shoe, and pants--with a bit of grumbling. He helps people out without asking. He hates looking weak though and will often be a general ass about it. He has helped at soup kitchens, animal shelters (before he almost died from his allergies), building homes for the homeless, and with Christmas drives for children. The last part is his favorite--kids don't have the ability to piss him off that adults seem to find so easily.
- Intelligent - While he is a bit lazy, rarely applying himself fully (especially when bored), Logan wasn't accepted to graduate school because he was a moron. He reads, he can write, and he loves a good debate. He gets Bs, As, and one or two Cs--he's not a genius. He excels at the subjects he loves (which is certainly not the business / actuary degree his mother and father pushed him to get).
- Pacifistic (now) - Logan isn't one for violence. In a fight, unless you really provoke him, he is likely to just let you punch him until your anger runs dry. He used to have an issue with being violent and physical himself--when facing bullies; he outgrew it and finds it stupid to roll around like animals in a fight.
- "Typical Guy" - He likes football, drinking, beer, weight-lifting, looking at ladies, cars, and all those wonderful things. He sometimes will forget an anniversary (if not reminded) and is prone to falling asleep on the couch and leaving the toilet seat up. The only things he does that aren't too masculine is needlepoint with his sister and change diapers without a single complaint.
- Occasionally forgetful - Logan forgets assignments when he gets too busy. He forgets dates and phone numbers. He's not the best with faces and sometimes, when irritated enough, he seems to lose all social graces. He also forgets to put the toilet set down (in a house with all women and himself).
- Not the biggest fan of Pokémon - He is deathly allergic or at least he was. Anything with fur and feathers used to make him keel over and of course cultivated a distance between himself and the creatures. As he grew he outgrew that amount of severity. Now he merely starts sneezing and having issues breathing when a furry or feathery Pokémon appears on the horizon. This is the reason his family didn't have any growing up minus his dad's very old, blind, and deaf Stoutier.
- Family-man - He loves his sister. He loves his mother; he changes her if needed, does her laundry, helps her hobble around ,reminds her that this isn't twenty years ago and nurtures her. It hurts him that his son was taken away and that he has never gotten to meet him. Logan puts family before all else---and lets them treat him like crap because of it. It is his family that takes advantage of his generosity most often--especially his second-eldest sister Elle.
- A bit lost in life - He knows what he wants. He can't have it. He had plans for he and his baby and the woman took them away the night she left with his son. He hates his job. He dislikes his mother's constant need for help--though he helps her. He dislikes being stuck in this region without any brightness ahead. Logan is a bit loss and sometimes complains about it.

BACKGROUND:
History:
- Birth and siblings - Logan had three older sisters and one younger. He was brought into the world by his loving mother and father: Anne Garrison and George Garrison. His eldest sister was twelve at the time, the second eldest was two years old, and his youngest sister came into the world four years after Logan was born.To be honest? The two youngest kids, to parents who were nearly middle aged, was a bit much for them. They still adored them to bits of course and did their duty.
- Little Sister - His little sister was born deaf. She needed help and constant supervision and big brother--when his older sisters were gone elsewhere--was glad to take it up. These two, while they squabble, are attached at the hip practically (even now). His sister did take advantage of her disability a lot of the time to get her way. Logan learned sign language--which has proven helpful in work.
- Elementary School - He turned six and off to school he went; he denies that he bawled his eyes out like a baby on that day. He was not exemplary and higher middle of the road as a student--with consistent Bs and good behavior. He missed his sister a lot.
- Brush with death - One day, when walking home from school, he found himself facing an Arcanine. The boy, liking Pokémon then, ran up to hug it. He found out that the itchy nose he got when he was in a room with his father's dog (which he rarely went near) was far more dangerous than that. His throat seized. He went into shock. The hospital managed to save him and his allergy was determined. The elder girls, who had been eager to train, were crushed. They just made their brother their Pokémon.
- His eldest sister goes off to college - The steady and stoic woman, who helped their often anxious mother, bid a teary farewell and went to pursue her dreams of fashion design in another region. She came home the first two summers--until she met her future husband.
- The war - The family was not too effected except that his father, a gentle man in Pravus, refused to serve the organization. He was drafted up for this 'crime'. They kept their house and home--with its shared rooms--due to the fact that it was the mother, who wrote for magazines, that had bought it.
- Dad's Sentencing - The father spent six months in a small jail and another six on probation. Logan, while he hates fighting, did think badly of his father for a while after that--mostly because kids have big mouths. He was irritated with his dad.
- Dad's Death (Logan was 16) - The man died of an aneurism in his sleep with his face in a smile and his arms around his wife of twenty years. His mother never truly got over it. Logan, after kicking the coffin, burst into tears. He changed for a while after that--everyone grieves differently.
- Naughty little rebel - Basically, he became a bad boy. He did graffiti. He spray-painted. He ran with the big boys. He was even grumpier. He began to sleep around with women. He was scolded a few times and faced school discipline on a few occasions. When these 'harmless' pranks with the boys turned slowly into a gang--and a woman was supposedly raped--Logan backed off. He went back to his studies.
- Graduation day - He graduated from school with a cord just as his other sister finished at Avarius and moved back home for a year or two (as she had never honestly left he didn't get the big deal). He wore the clapboard hat, the stupid outfit, and went on a date with his longterm girlfriend that night--everyone else in his family hated her but Logan, entranced by her curves, didn't listen.
- His mother is diagnosed with early onset and severe Alzheimer's - For years they had noticed her dropping things, slowly growing more erratic and even more nervous. One day, she seemed to not know who her kids were and looked lost. Her kids took her to the doctor and he found out that instead of a mother he had a burden. Logan wouldn't put her away. They could not afford to send her to one of the older girls. Guess who got the hard part of it so his sister could go to school?
- His son is born and his first real heart break - That girlfriend was pregnant with their son. He was born a beautiful baby boy with blonde hair and the eyes that were a perfect match for his father. Logan spoiled him rotten--for the six months that he had the boy. One day he went to her parents house, where the older girl lived, and found a note. She had moved in with her new boyfriend--thanked him for all his money--and gave him an address to send his checks. He has done so dutifully for the last five years.
- He graduates from college with a degree with two minors - He graduated with an honor's degree in business statistics and two minors: one in philosophy and one in biology. He started looking for work to better help his mother and to stop her existence from being so foot-to-mouth.
- Gets his first 'real' job - The insurance company hired him pretty quickly and paid him peanuts. He is a dependable and loyal worker with little interesting going on in life--minus whatever story his mother tells him. He helps his youngest sister go to college and pays for it.
- His middle eldest sister begins to train Pokémon - That sister was known for her inability to stick to anything and even his mother, in her moments of clarity, thought this was a horrid idea. She picked up three Pokémon and began to train them. She was obsessed with the ideas and the thrills it offered her--she had always wanted some.
- He is accepted into an esteemed Graduate program at Avarius - Logan hates his job. He applied to graduate school for another degree--one that aligns better with his interest (with a philosophy minor).
- His flight sister, just two weeks ago, decides she's done training - She comes to his door and gives him the three Pokémon saying it was time he 'got over his allergy' and that 'she'll be back soon'. Logan doubts it and yet he's a sucker for those eyes. He has them living in his room and takes them out like dogs--he has no idea what to do with them.
- Toodle-loo brother bear! - Logan is left holding the bag as his second eldest sister goes off with her boyfriend and leaves him holding the bag and trying to help both a starting college freshman and a dying mother. She felt it was his turn.

Level: 14
Gender: Male
Ability:
Personality: He's deaf. No, he's actually just quite thick--he takes a while to get anything correct. He also has narcolepsy. Elliot is just a pain in the ass for Logan and has a habit of bursting out of his Pokeball to spout nonsense about what happened whil he was gone and what was on television--while Logan is trying to study and write. He is creative, artistic, and flighty. He is also, like the rest, just a baby. He is unable to take care of himself.

- Destiny Bond
- Encore
Name: Mickey " The Hick"
Species: Aipom
Level: 14
Gender: Male
Ability: Runaway
Personality: Mickey is actually a kleptomaniac--or that's what Logan likes to say. The monkey is just mischievous, curious, and forgetful. He is not a bad thing and he's not malicious while he does it. Mickey is mentally the oldest of all three--he is about a two or three year old. He calls him "The Hick" because of how much the damn thing likes climbing trees and digging holes where they don't belong.
Attacks:
Name: Mary " The Moron"
Species: Whismur
Level: 12
Gender: Female
Ability:
Personality: She's a chicken. She's the youngest. She also rarely stops crying. You raise your voice above a whisper in the least? The little thing starts screaming bloody murder. She is also shy, clings to his pants' legs (and makes him sneeze), and is generally just whiny. She likes to bring home grass, dead flowers, and has a habit of being given free candy. Logan also dislikes the squealing she produces every time he goes outside.
