BASIC INFORMATION:
Full Name Ezekiel Arthur Harris
Nickname(s): He doesn’t know anyone that well. He is often referred to as Merchant or Zeke.
Gender: Male
Age: 32
Allegiance: Neutral
Occupation (Position) : Black Market Dealer, he also moonlights as a mailman from time to time. It offers a nice way to deliver goods.
Species: Human
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:
Hair: Mauve
Eye Color: Grey
Height: 6’3”
Build: Scarecrow like – He’s mostly all legs and arms.
Skintone: Pale
Other Appearance Information: He’s not pretty. The only thing on him that isn’t crooked, or oddly proportioned, is his perfectly straight teeth. The rest of his body is covered in scars of all sorts: burns, deep gouges, miscoloured patches of skin, and even a few a few birthmarks. He has a long, sharp, nose and matching chin. His personality does not make up for it.
Not only has life given his body some “spice” but his DNA dealt him an odd frame. He is, and always has been, very lanky. He almost looks stretched. His arms, and legs, take up most of his body, and his torso is little more than ribs. He has a high metabolism to thank for that. His fingers, besides the missing chunks, look like something more at home at a piano than at hunting. Regardless of his odd proportions, he is a master of silent movement, and sneaking.

- Greedy – His morals are easily bent In favor of money.
- Cowardly – He does not get into upfront battles often. When he does he tries his best to escape.
- Sunlight – He burns really easily.
- Blunt – When he loses his temper his tongue is cruel. This is a bit of a problem when he’s trying to make a sale. Otherwise, you can fuck off.
Personality:
- Selectively Charismatic - While he is normally a surly person he can pretend to be a nice, amiable, and even happy fellow. Of course, he doesn't do it without reason.
- Secretive / Isolationist / Surly / Blunt / Rude - While he seems at home with people on business ventures, he is actually extremel introverted, and easily tired of human company. He much prefers spending his time at home. Outside of business most words will be met with angry, a sigh, or an insult. He's only friendly as far as money is concerned.
- Businessman - He has spent most of his life learning how to make the sell, and applies it to personal relationships as well. His work not only comes home with him, but happens to be his whole life. Merchant would sell his soul. for a profit (and some say he already has). But this presents two different sides to Ezekiel, the one that seems charismatic, selfless, and harmless, and his true self. The latter is used almost solely behind closed days.
- Greedy - Money makes the world go around, and motivates Merchant. While he does not live overly well, his house is an old drafty heirloom, he still manages to hoard money enough to swim in.
- Hates Pokemon - Brainwashed from early childhood, since shortly after Kindergarten, Merchant despises pokemon, and sees them as little more than a nasty way to meet an ends. He will never see them as anything more than tools.
- Sneaky - There is a reason he's been alive so long when he goes toe to toe with pokemon. He uses a variety of lies, strategies, traps, and bait to outwit and trick his opponent. He does not engage in battle without a strategy.\
- Cowardly - If he does not have the upper hand, or the means to do so, he will not engage in a forward fight. Merchant is a coward.
- Manipulative - He will do whatever it takes to win, and to profit. Make no mistake.
- Cutthroat- He'd sell his mother, if his father hadn't done that. He often sells out his rivals, and associate's, to the wealthy and well off. He does so under a pseudonym of course.
- Survivalist - Though the amount of scars seem to pronounce him a slow learner, they also mark him as alive. He's been homeless, in the gutters, and in jail. Somehow he comes out on top.
BACKGROUND:
History:
- Harold Harris and Eleanor Harris give birth to a happy, healthy, baby boy. Harold, like his father before him, was in the same line of business as Merchant. His wife did not like it very much.
- Eleanor dies before Merchant is two years old, though his father refuses to tell him how.[ He was raised by his rough, tough, and sometimes overbearing, father.
- At the age of three, Merchant stumbles outside to find a young Pidgey, with a broken wing wallowing about in his yard. He took it home. A dead Pidgey, and many lectures later, he learned the error of his ways. Disgusting thing.
- In Kindergarten he found himself quickly withdrawing from other children. While they glorified those beasts, he made it his life mission to avoid them. It left him with few friends, not that it mattered. He just needed Poppa.
- "Poppa" - After Kindergarten his father turned from overbearing to downright cruel. His son was often introduced to a fist, or backhand, if he failed. If he argued against abusing a pokemon, or dissecting it, he often ended up with a rather painful reminder of the incident.
- The First Catch - His first catch, without father's "help" was the capture of a shiny Bagon with an old fashioned barbed net and an electric prod. It was dangerous and resulted in a broken hand; father was far from happy.
- Graduation - He graduated in the top 25%, but did not follow his classmates toward pokemon careers. Instead he dove deeper into the family business; he did get a two-year degree in finance and business management.
- Rattata 1 -5 - They were mostly lost due to badly set traps, improper training, dropping, and inexperience.
- The War - Merchant made a killing after the war began.
- The Infected - Ezekiel profited quite well from the poor creatures, in fact, he purposely infects pokemon he catches and gives them to trainers. He hopes they don't fix it anytime soon, it's good for the profit margin.
- Rattata 6- 14 - It took this many for him to master techniques against the Infected, It wasn't too much fun, and left him with quite a few scars. Some of them from the Rattata as they attempted to escape.
- Rattata 15 - This one is still alive and kicking. He's almost tolerated. This Rattata is a bit too forward for his master; he's a bit smarter than the others.
- The "new " house - He moved from the vacation mansion outside the walls to the family estate inside Nada Citadel. It took a lot of dusting to make it somewhat habitable; he left the attic in its original state.
- Dad's "new" home - When it came time for the drooling moron to move in with Merchant, he was stuffed in the attic. He is treated with disdain.
- Still doing business - He's doing quite well. Modern Remoor is an amazing place to conduct business. So much degradation.
POKEMON:
Name: Fifteen
Species: Rattata
Level: 18
Gender: Male
Ability:
Personality: His name is an apt descriptor. Fifteen, the fifteenth Rattata used by Merchant, is also the longest surviving. Often used as bait, the others faced grisly ends. This Rattata, who has been around for three years now, is a survivor. He’s cunning, quick, and shrewd. He’s also whiny, and sneaky. He also tries, quite often, to run away. Somehow, after a hunt, he always ends up back with his ‘trainer’. Since his trainer doesn’t really give a fuck about his intelligence, Fifteen’s human is bad, and full of hard to understand slang. He is also a fan of profanity.
Attacks:
- Tackle
- Tail Whip
- Focus Energy
- Quick Attack
- Pursuit
- Thunder Wave
- Final Gambit
