Austin slowly walked with a tired expression, "Maan couch has been working everyone hard the last few days... I think he may be a little krabby." Austin said with a chuckle. His humans legs felt so heavy. He may be into sports and is a god pokemon but he still had limits. Walking by his side was Ninetails, his first pokemon buddy that he had rasied from a baby, And the other was Fennekin who he had saved from a abusive trainer. When they came to a nice clearing that was near the lake Austin just fell to the ground and layed there. The ground felt good after a few hours of hard training. "I think I will just take a nap here... The cool ground and warm sun just feels soo good!"" Austin said closing his eyes. Ninetails frowned a little and shook her head, " Austin! If you want ti take a nap go home! Don't sleep out in the open!" The fox pokemon scolded. Austin just smiled and chuckled. " Ahh Don't get your tails all in a not... Besides I know you will watch over me."" Austin said keeping his eyes shut. Ugh! You are to relaxed for your own good sometimes!" Ninetails grumbled a she sat down next to him. Fennekin mean while just laughed as those two spoke, she said nothing as she sat down as well and kept a eye out as she watched the people and pokemon in the area.

He wondered who that was below him. It felt...familiar somehow.
He'd been doing his best to mask his presence here, lazing in the tree, his illusory disguise that of a Pidgeot this time around, and a rather small one at that. It'd taken some time to get himself to that size...but no one would think Zekrom would go that small. But at this size, he had no trouble getting comfy in the branches, enjoying the gentle breezes and the murmur of activity. Something about it soothed him. Memories of his old life in the cities he had helped build and protect. But that had been interrupted when he'd felt the legendary presence.
His red and gold eyes peered at the human below him...no, not human. Another legendary. His illusion flit its wings, fitting the actual motion of his arms a little as he twitched in curiosity. He looked around, making sure there wasn't too much attention in this direction, and then let go of his masking...letting his presence as a legendary flood into the air almost. Somewhat like a sonar ping to any other legendary in the area.
Of course...most legendaries disguised as humans these days. He was a tiny pokemon...would this one realize the truth? He smiled inwardly. This would be a fun little game if he got to keep it guessing.
Austin lay on the ground enjoying the cool ground and the warmth of the sun and was not worried about getting sunburned. Though soon he started to feel hungry, he kept his eyes closed but smiled. " Do you know what sounds great right now?? Macaron's!!"" Austin said. Ninetails rolled her eyes and shook her head. " You are going to get fat eating so many of those!"" She said though she was smiling. She knew Austin would not get fat she was just teasing him. Austin laughed a little, " Ahh you love them to don't deny it Ninetails..."" Austin joked back. Fennekin started to wag her tail when Austin said Macaron's. "Yeah! Lets get some at the bakery!" she said happily. Austin was about to reply when he suddenly felt a strong pokemon presence. And that could mean only one thing... Another legendary.. Austin eyes flew open as he sat up quickly and looked around. Soon his eyes fell on a rather small Pidgeot and it felt like the legendary presence was coming from the bird.
Well Austin knew fellow legendry's could take on any form in order to hid themselves... But why was this one letting him know it was here? Ninetails was now alert but had no idea what was going on. "Austin, whats goinh on?"" She asked only to be "shhed" by Austin as he then started to make his way over to the small Pidgeot. When he got closer he was sure the feeling was coming from what seemed like a small Pidgeot. He raised a eye brow, " Uhh Hello?"" He said and then waited to a reply.
Austin blinked when the bird pokemon winked at him. At that moment he knew that this pokemon is a legendary. What one though he had no idea. Soon the small bird landed on his shoulder and spoke into his ear. Asking him to go into the small forest near by so they could talk. Though sadly Austin did not know the voice of the legendary as he had never really met any while on the road. He knew they where out there but this was his first time really running into one. So Austin then nodded as he started to make his way over to the small forest. Ninetails and Fennekin started to follow but Austin held out his hand. The two stopped knowing that meant stand and keep watch. Austin then made his way to the middle of the forest to make sure they where away from any human that may spot them and he knew Ninetails and Fennekin would keep watch. "So... What legendary are you?" Austin asked in a soft tone.

It stayed on his shoulder the whole of the small walk, watching around them, but he seemed calm and composed as they entered the tree copse. He'd feel that there were no grasping claws on this one...even though visually there were. This legendary didn't truly shapeshift! It was an illusion!
The bird tilted it's head...and without even a flash or puff of smoke, it was suddenly simply Zekrom, albeit very tiny Zekrom, but it was him nonetheless. No doubt now, he only used illusions to disguise himself.
A small arc of electricity flowed over his tail, those red and gold eyes feling like they would pierce into Victini's. He held this gaze as he spoke, as if trying to read something from the fellow legendary.
"The lightning dragon, Zekrom. That is who I am."
He lightly hopped off of the boy's shoulder, landing without even a thud. His presence was certainly strong even at that small...though he did seem somehow to be cute like that. Maybe even huggable!
"And what legendary am I myself in the presence of?"
His speech was deep, and would have probably been a booming voice had he spoken normally, but Victini would be able to tell...he was holding back his voice, and barely.
When the bird pokemon suddenly changed shape. Austin stared at the fellow legendary as he said who he was. Oh wow he was Zekrom! One of the big dragon legendries! Austin then gave a small smile when Zekrom jumped from his shoulder and to the ground. He then knelt down to be closer the dragon that chose to be in a very small size. When he asked what legendary he was the young boy nodded though decided to stay in his human form. Even though his friends where keeping watch there was still a chance a human may walk in on them. Or a Pokémon they did not know. "I'm Victini, the victory pokemon. Or so what humans call me."" Austin said with a small laugh as he thought of that nickname. The people of the Veil had started that one.. He missed them.. Austin knew he should go back someday, The Veil was his home after all.. " So what brings you here Zekrom?" He asked with a tilt of his head.

Upon getting so close, Victini would notice something...off...about Zekrom. His body was covered in, well, carvings, essentially. Lines and sigils were carved right into his hide, and that was most definitely not in any of his legends. This was something new.
"Victini. I am honored to meet you, fellow legendary. I am here because I sense many ideals among those that live here...even from you, and among these ideals...I hope to find one worthy of protecting. Worthy of helping move forward, with me helping the idealist through thick and thin. I have yet to find any such ideal here. But there are many humans and pokemon to search through, and many I can sense have great potential."
As he spoke, he did indeed sound somewhat lonely somehow, he even looked like it. But those marking all over his hide...they looked like they might have been painful. They were deep, but without a doubt there was some artistic flare to them. Almost like looking at tribal tattoos.
"So, legendary of Victory, I ask the same of you. What brings you here to this land and city?"
Austin did notice the carvings in Zekrom's skin, but said nothing as it was not really his place to ask. And figured if Zekrom wanted to tell him about that tattoos he would. So he just listened to why he was here. The small legendary nodded as the dragon spoke, well he was here for a noble cause. When Zekrom said it was a honor to meet him he laughed a little and waved that off. He did not really see himself as anything special. Yes he helped save the people of the Veil but that is all he ever did. Now he was no better then a wondering trainer. As after years and years of being in the Veil he was now out to see the world. And he guessed helping people if he could. Mostly underdogs who needed a little pickup. "No no, its a honor to meet you."" Austin said with a chuckle When Zekrom asked why he was here Austin paused as he thought about it. " Well I have not been here very long.. I have been traveling and my wonderings have brought me here. And well I joined a human school to learn more about this land. I dunno what I can do to help but I want to try. This place is just so sad.." " Austin said with a sigh as he shook his head.

Zekrom didn't say such, but he himself wasn't feeling the title of honor meeting him very well. After all, his battle with Reshiram had practically left the people of his city without their legendary to protect them when they needed it while he and his human partner had gone to war. No...he did not feel deserving of honor.
"Yes, there is much sadness, as you say. It is unfortunate, but each of us are only one. Power can only do so much, and when facing the world alone...we can be overwhelmed. I offer you my aid in times of need, if you would do the same for me, Victini."
He looked away for a moment, as if pondering wether he should even bother speaking these next words, but he chuckled, a deep, gutteral chuckle, and looked back at Victini, the eyes no longer seeming to pierce...actually appearing rather softened now.
"And I admit, I would not be adverse to having a friend in a fellow legendary after having kept to myself for such a long time."
He stretched out one of his wing-claws, for, of all things, a handshake.
"This may be a human custom, but it is a good one. A hug can come later, should it come at all."
The dragon had made it clear and easy. He was ready to make friends, and it was now up to Vicitini to take the chance.
