It's a gorgeous day out....
The thought that passed through the mind of a youth wasn't much different than those that were off playing at a playground he wished he could join in. Parents had a problem when someone with claws or teeth joined in so he was rather hesitant to do so; most pokemon that were family friendly could be said trailing around some of the kids. The morph didn't have his "mother" around at the moment so he wasn't about to try to go down there anyways. A soft sigh came from a shark like head, ears twitched and a pair of hands drew back the hood that obscured his face. The morph was covered in head to toe in scars of various sizes, most of his limbs had one or two but his face and chest bore the most of a mix of surgical scars and other's that he'd rather not think about. He leaned forward and sighed; he could hear them from here... They were playing tag and the like and he sorely wanted to jump down and join them.
But....
"They wouldn't let a freak like me join them anyways... I'd be the only one being it while they all ran from me..."
The morph felt another sigh work it's way out of his mouth; the sharp teeth that lay there would of been enough to deter most parents from even thinking about coming close to their children regardless of how friendly he was. The morph slid off of the tree branch and landed on the ground not a moment later. The pants he was wearing covered what his "cloak" didn't; he really couldn't consider it anything else either which somewhat bothered him. Just another thing in the endless list of things that made him so vastly... different. Human's seemed to hate the idea of something different as well which for some reason bothered the living piss out of him; they all were different than one another too! The morph growled and kicked a rock that pattered a few feet before stopping. The morph was gone before the thing had even come halfway to being at it's resting point; a few parents noted that the hooded figure in the tree had finally left and they could rest easy.
Not even thirty feet into the woods...
The morph felt his claws clack on pavement and he found that he was now on some kind of path; humans liked making walks like this since there was so much nature about. Hell why would you do this sort of thing and not just trek through it like a normal person would? Or a normal kid? The young morph sighed and turned up his hood again [making sure to navigate around his horns and ears...] before shoving his hands into his pockets. The youth walked slowly his breath coming out in soft sighs; he just wanted something to do or someone to hang out with that wasn't trying to get a job at the moment. 17 wasn't exactly the most motherly when she was away at work, she wouldn't be home until late today either! The morph blinked a bit when he heard scrabbling ahead of him and before he looked up he felt something run into him. The morph looked up his eyes wide and a reprisal on his lips....
