It was the booming heart, the pounding of it in the flesh that made her skin crawl.
It was the closeness that truly made her wonder where the fine line between beast and blessed lay.
It was the subtle understanding of those few memories that lay within that truly made it so that she could peer solely into the hearth that this one called it's mind.
Nay it was the soul of this creature that made her wonder.
She had read the files, bred and made to be a killer yet here it lay upon here lap making itself comfortable. Her hand lay upon the brow that she had not a week earlier wondered if she could even get close to understanding the creature that stand in front of her. Her mind played tricks upon her even now; she had to be careful about delving too deep into seeing what was there and what was on the surface. Paltry dreams; simple things as being free eagerly came to mind. Her hand fell across the neck of the creature; nay the neck of what she could consider to be one of the closest things relative to her. A pure splice of two pokemon intertwined at a genetic level; even her dna was tainted with human. If one was to compare her and this; they would find that the creature laying across her to be far superior in body... But not in mind; not as of yet. It needed molding; it needed understanding. What it sorely needed was someone to rely on. She could feel the beat of her heart slowly coming to match his slower rested beat. It was things like that which would make it easier for her to understand Sildrae; if one could reduce themselves to seeing how another did regardless of how powerful or how smart you were your options were unlimited.
She could feel the pain residing in his mind, she could feel the years he waited frozen in tandem for something like that subtle day to come along. She brushed her hand along one of the horns that jutted back from his head and sighed her heart still beating slowly but firmly coming back to what could be considered her norm. She couldn't keep up that sort of state for long. Her breath whispered in the air; causing a warm stream of air to float up from her mouth. It was largely cold in the room for some reason or she was just imagining things again. She set her other hand on the couch her mind trying to push together things that lay within his mind. She was having difficulty with the earlier years only because that she was pretty sure it was hard for him to remember. She could base her theory of difficulty based on the fact he was part ghost but she immediately put that aside. Her mind was bristling with questions but she felt as though she was invading his basic privacy and instead of continuing past the thoughts that underlie the surface she slowly brought her head down next to where you could figure his ear could be. No voice rang out; no songs were sang; no wisdom was uttered....
Just a simple request from a voiceless entity.
Wake up...

Sildrae slowly aroused from his deep slumber, the dreams of his short past fading as the present came into focus...and unfortunately, so did his belly, as his first thoughts were of food...and sugar.
He did not raise his head, however, instead content to stay in that position, too comfortable to pay attention to his irritated stomach, instead seeming to open his mind even more as it searched for that feeling it associated with her being with his mind...and he seemed soothed by her being there.
Ty...rus.
The mental response was sluggish, and it seemed he had difficulty with the name, but the picture he had of her was crystal clear, though perhaps a bit exaggerated. In his mind, he saw her as not so much larger than him as that her presence was a powerful one that shadowed those around her, including himself. But in that image, he bathed in that shadow like some would have a sunbath. But she could see that, in the background of that image, minor flashes of other humans cloaked in blood red, and his hesitation about giving trust so freely.
Friend?
He'd asked this several times before, as if needing it to be verified. It had a tinge of fear laced in with it, and maybe a little regret, some of that pain from the dreams leaking through as well. He definitely had no defenses in his young mind. If he was to be protected from other psychics, he would need training to at least keep his deeper thoughts hidden. His surface thoughts though...he did not have the mind to keep that hidden at all. Not because he wasn't smart enough, but he simply did not have the mental properties to manage it.
His dangerous tail slowly waved behind him, phasing through the walls and floor in the shadows cast from the morning light. That same tail she'd seen already cause incredible havoc when used as the weapon it really was, and here it was doing nothing at all but show how the pokesplice was feeling. Relaxed and, at the least, 'safe'.
Sun warm. Like sun. Sildrae touch sun?

The flanks rose, the body stirred and the head would of arched in the style that was correct for his body type but the comfort that the morph held to the other was probably too great. She could hear; no she could sense the hunger already gnawing at him. It was a baser instinct of to rise and feel the need to break what had been inert for so long. Unbidden clanking in the kitchen occurred and three different items slowly floated out into view. The first was some meat she had procured by inquiring of her friend salisbury, the second was a much needed glass of purity, the third was something that everything needed to live. Her lips twisted in a smile; her facial muscles struggling to keep it true. She always had trouble doing so but something like this kept her body eager to continue it's proper movements.
Meat, Sugar, and water
Everyone needed a little of each to keep going, though for some reason the files that had come in the pravus lab had indicated that he needed the second more than anything else. There was even exact measurements that needed to be performed in order to keep it so. Her lips broke into a full blown smile when she heard.. no she felt her name echo from his mind. It was broken into two pieces; he was slowly beginning to understand how to form her name in mind. Perhaps one day he'd be able to do the same in body. She wasn't so sure but it wasn't the worst thing that possibly could happen not being able to talk. She nodded at her name; her ears wiggled back and forth in a simple manner. Her whiskers crackled with energy as the items that were floating along came to a rest on the floor. A platter set underneath them quickly before they even had a chance to touch the carpet; she was getting better with her maneuvering of items which was going to make dealing with this a lot easier. Her thoughts were sent as though cooed from the words of one trying to calm another.
Friend indeed, Always a friend.
She gently ran her finger the length of his spine gingerly petting her and there, her other hand still placed on the couch. She was still leaned over her forehead still touching his. A brief nod followed his second "question" though she'd have to gently help him understand. She'd have to gently continue doing this if she wanted him to make progress. She wanted her friend to succeed not only in self but in other areas once they were eventually past having to calm him when he awoke. Her eyes traced the path the dangerous tail followed and she felt her smile deepen a little bit.
Sildrae bask in light, sun provide with having to touch. Warmth make Sildrae the same.
She spoke in terms she hoped he understood, she wasn't dumbing herself down she was merely making it easier for the both of them to understand on another. A brief moment passed and the platter slowly floated up a bit, her head followed ever so slightly. She was reluctant to remove herself from such a comfortable position; she had fallen asleep like this after all. She felt the same hunger gnaw at her but she squelched it. Her food came after his; else they'd have to deal with problems she'd rather not.
Are you hungry? There's food right there..
The platter dipped in the last bit of her sentence, she was trying her best to be protective, she was trying her best to continue what she figured would be... well the best for Sildrae himself. If she didn't take the proper steps she would damage any hopes of anything ever happening with his progress. No... not his progress... Their progress. She ran her hand back up his spine and gently gave his shoulder an affectionate pat her smile reforming firmly. She could do this all day if he wanted to, the easiest way to build trust was to take things slow....

His tail froze when she pet his spine so gingerly, his mind filling with blues and greens as it calmed him even more, the blood red figures fading away as she came into even greater focus, the dominating presence changing to one representing that 'safe' feeling, and one of his massive hands came to rest on her back, gently, but with enough weight behind it to show he didn't want to leave her side yet.
Always.
That simple word echoed in his mind, yet it seemed to hold great meaning for him. This young mind hung onto that single word for several moments as she spoke to him of the sun, at which point he switched tracks, imagining himself becoming like the sun, and his lips part into what most would think was a menacing smile, but thanks to that mental link, she'd know it was him showing a little happiness from those thoughts, and he seemed to understand perfectly. If she delved a little deeper as she explained, she'd feel it. He could understand very well, there was just something in the way of him actually speaking as well as he understood. Almost like something in between got lost in translation.
However, this all vanished when the food came into view, and his body twitched, as if he'd been about to practically pounce on the much needed meal, yet he held back, feeling too happy to let hunger ruin his moment with her, until a little light went off in his mind, and with a deep rumble that sounded like what a Liepard's purr would if it were his size, he nudged at her stomach, the image in his mind showing them sharing the meal together. His maw opened wide, the ghostly haze flowing out of it as that rumble became an excited pant.
Always!
He'd come back to that word again, obviously thinking sharing the meal was a mark of friends. After all, it made sense to him that sharing something so tasty was proof of being friends...wasn't it?

Her eyes focused on the tails movements for a little bit and she almost felt her brow furrow when it stopped moving. Was he agitated by what she said? Did he not... She paused in surprise and then shifted as he seemingly focused on that single word she had said; the rest seemed to fall out of importance and she could hardly blame him. she blinked a little bit and then smiled at the feeling of happiness that she was able to receive from him. It was hard to believe that they could be friends so easily but if it was anyone else they more than likely would of been chewed up and spat out on several occasions. She shifted a little bit when she heard the word echo a second time. Her cheeks flushed a bit; now that she thought about it always seemed like a very long time.... She didn't mind the idea of being friends with the fellow; not to mention he probably adored the idea. She smiled briefly and then let out a soft sigh as she felt her stomach get nudged by him. She could feel the image form in her head of what he suggested. Of what he felt they should do, it wouldn't hurt for her to do so at all, as long as she made sure he got the sugar and such. She smiled a little bit and gave his head a gentle scritch; she didn't mind the idea at all in fact she span her finger abit and slowly started to bring the haunch closer to the both of them. She took a small bite out of the haunch and then had it float over near his mouth; weather or not there was any remaining after he took his fair share of course would make it true if she took a second or third bite.
Did you sleep okay?
She smiled a little broader at the question her hands freely petting along his back now that he was fully awake. She didn't mind the close proximity to one that some would consider a monster. Hell some would consider her a monster and she wasn't even the worst out there. He was no where near close to the monsters that roamed within pravus; they wore skins of those widely accepted as saviors and benifted from much that others could not. She closed her eyes for a moment and sighed; the mix between happy and worried practically oozed from it. She wasn't sure what else she should do so she posed a question towards her companion.
anything you would like to do...?

He sized her bite as the haunch came into view, and after a moment, took a surprisingly gentle bite for such menacing teeth, and it was roughly the same size...well, perhaps a bit bigger. He was hungry, after all, and then he waited for her to take her turn at it.
Sleep good. Sleep long. Sildrae see in sleep.
He was obviously referring to his dreams, and images of the lab in its prime came to mind, though with less testing equipment, and a fewer people there. A few were bathed in red, but one or two were bathed in a light blue, his mind apparently having liked them quite a bit. A memory perhaps? No...it was too lacking. Perhaps a fantasy.
Regardless, that rumble returned as she pet him some more, the tail returning to its wavy dance in the air.
Do? Sildrae? Finish friend food. After, not know. Sildrae game?
He would continue the meal with her so long as she took turns with bites. He would certainly get the lion's share, as eventually the hunger would override his 'fair' thoughts, but it would be all the same to him. She ate with him, she was his friend. He had but one more thing he wanted to make sure of.
Ty..rus friends. Sildrae friends?
The image of her pokemon came to mind, the question becoming clear, as among them, the only one not in blue was Carlo, who was bathed in orange, perhaps his 'caution' color. After all, the pokemon was rather loud and bigger than even Sildrae.

Tyrus felt a small chuckle rumble out of her chest when Sildrae took a bite of the haunch; she was able to get maybe three or so bites in before he basically destroyed the damn thing. She didn't mind at all; she wasn't completely hungry like he probably was; she could always eat later if she needed. There was plenty of food in the house after all and there wouldn't be any shortage anytime soon. She smiled briefly and gently hugged his neck one of her hands petting the side of his cheek after they had finished eating. Dreams by the sound of it was what he was experiencing; she wished that she could of watched what he had dreamed about past the bits she was able to catch earlier. She gently continued petting him her mind gingerly brushing against his as though she was worried she was going to startle him.
I could see some of the things you saw, they were quite nice...
The morph smiled and continued to pet him; the reassurance that he needed was no doubt there; she'd continue doing that until he would tell her to stop. She really doubted that he would at any point; he was starved for friends; starved for so much life experience it wasn't even funny. There was some dastardly things that pravus did and this was one of them. She smiled at his confusion of her question and then nodded before another question formed. It was also simple, in base she wanted to see what sort of game he was wanting to play. She was pretty much down for anything that he'd want to do; she didn't think much would be hard considering. Probably hide and go seek or perhaps a simple game of tag? She wasn't too sure. Her mind brushed against his again and she felt her body shiver a bit; he felt strange to touch sometimes. She bet it was the haunter in him that made her feel like she had goosebumps.
We could play a game yes, What would Sildrae like to play?
Another smile; she gently leaned in and bumped noses with him. She had done that to mack when they first met but he had instead of doing anything gentle tried to bite her nose! She had gotten quite cross with him and they had ended up being pretty damned good friends after that. Mack and jazz hadn't properly met Sildrae yet, nor had salisbury or bast! The only one had been carlo and it was brief because she could tell sildrae had been uncomfortable around him. It was probably due to size since carlo was very friendly. She brushed her mind against his; the image of her hugging him tightly transferring over; much like how they were at the current moment save that Tyrus looked much happier in her mind than in person.
Sildrae will always be Tyrus's friend. Sildrae Friend, Tyrus Friend.
The morph nodded a bit her whiskers dancing up and down a bit as she did so; she didn't mind claiming that in the least bit. She honestly loved having friends and even if they were simple; even if they were silly, even if they were loud. Friends were something she could never get enough of. She adored having them. She hugged him tightly and said it again her nose pressing firmly against his.
Sildrae Tyrus's friend.

He froze at first when she hugged him so, the cheek brush making him tense up, and suddenly he completely relaxed, even his tail simply laying still where it was, and his rumble became perfectly steady for a few moments as she mindspoke to him.
Ty...rus see Sildrae sees?
He seemed not only accepting of this fact, but wanting it, even going so far as to imagine Tyrus as being in his head as he slept, watching everything as he did.
Her question was about to be answered in his mind when the nose bump stopped him cold, and his mind actually went blank for a few moments, him simply staring at Tyrus at the end of his muzzle. As she continued to speak, he most definitely took it in, but when she finally stopped, he slowly opened his maw, being very careful as he did, though what he intended did not seem obvious, even in his own mind. There seemed to be two instincts fighting for dominance in this moment, and as he slowly opened his sharp teeth further, that goosebump feeling started to return far stronger until...his tongue drew forward and grew, much like a Haunter's did when performing the move 'Lick', only this didn't have that power behind it...but he did lick her entire face in one go.
It was a strangely dry, but incredibly smooth, lick he gave her, leaving no drool or slobber behind, but it felt somewhat cold all the same thanks to that ghostly attribute he had in him, and he left his tongue hanging out still, that haze flowing from his maw as he tilted his head, waiting for her reaction to that tidbit of animal instinct.
Yes. Sildrae friend with Tyrus. Always.
For the moment, the game question was unanswered, but he probably just needed to be asked again.

Something felt off, he was tense and even his tail stopped moving. Should she of avoided trying to hug him? No she couldn't just damn well do something else no could she? Though when his thought process went straight to what she said the morph almost deflated with relief. She wasn't about to want to fight him; he was damn dangerous and she was fairly sure if it was an one on one scenario it wouldn't be the psychic wielding morph that'd be on top. She brushed her mind against his again; it was gentle, a caress an understanding nod followed his half statement half question. Her tails lazily started to swish back and forth; they were rather big in comparison to her body but they were still dwarfed in length by his.
Tyrus see's Sildrae's dream speak.
Tyrus smiled softly and blinked several times when the splice suddenly licked the entirety of her face. She shifted a little bit completely unsure of what to do. She felt her cheeks start to burn with a blush and she furrowed her brow opening her mouth a little bit in surprise. The female pokemorph paused a little bit and then gently leaned forward giving the splice's cheek a long hearty lick. She had no where near the size or length of his tongue but i was still more than enough of a message. It wasn't so much that she had gotten licked it was more the texture and the absence of wetness. Carlo had this thing when they first met to mess with the morph by with a single lick causing the morph to be drenched in drool. She didn't have to worry about that sort of thing with Sildrae it seemed. She wondered silently why that was exactly but she had to attribute this to the fact he was part ghost. After she had done that she went back to pressing her nose against his, her milky eyes meeting his dark purple ones. She wasn't sure what else she was supposed to do; there was only so much progress she could make in trying to make him easier to manage in a single day. Under it all he probably would be a bit wild... She didn't mind that though as she gently brushed her mind against his; it was a little more reserved than before the lick but a tinge of amusement was hinted in the words.
Why did you do that?
The morph let out a smooth chuckle and gently pet the top of Sildrae's head her question bouncing around her mind a few more times....

He deeply rumbled once again as she explained that she saw his dreams, more 'safe' feelings coming from him as she did, his view of her in his mind showing tints of blue and green in that shadowy presence he seemed to link her to, with him still bathing in it.
He never took his eyes away from her though, his rumble seeming to even falter with a little guttural laugh as she blushed right in front of his eyes and appeared stunned at his antics. That is, until she returned the lick with one of her own, and he too was suddenly stunned, blinking several times as he digested the fact that she'd licked him back. His mind was ablaze suddenly with memories of all those he'd enjoyed the company of and licked, only for them to never return the gesture...and here she'd returned it almost immediately!
Why lick? Ty...rus friend. That why. Nose touch make want lick also. Sildrae like nose touch. Feel nice.
His eyes were excited, and his lips were curled into a smile she had yet to see. One that said 'let's play!'. But he still didn't move, and a familiar touch on her mind came into play. A similar touch to the night she'd 'tamed' him. He'd just gotten more attached to her, like a child to a parent almost.
Ty...rus. Ty..rus.
He was trying hard now to say her name properly. Repeating it over and over in his head as his eyes closed in happiness, rumbling so heavily that she might feel like it'd vibrate her to pieces if he got any more rumbly.
Ty.rus. Ty.rus. Ty.rus. Tyrus!!!
He suddenly lifted up and picked Tyrus up in his big arms, giving her a massive, if somewhat too strong, hug with his massive hands to his chest, her head laying across the purple scales that lay on his shoulders...though the moment her chin touched those scales, she'd likely get that ghostly chill again. Not that the rest of his body wasn't warm enough to make up for that cold spot.
Tyrus, Tyrus, Tyrus!
His happiness at getting her name right, at being licked back, and at sharing a meal with her...his feral and young mind took it all in and gave her something back that was entirely primal in nature, yet the triggers had been anything but.
He was imprinting on her, and that was quite possibly the most primal type of love she'd ever touched as it brimmed in his mind and filled his very being for a few moments, until he finally set her back down and leaned down to press his nose to hers once more, the smile of absolute joy upon his face.
Tyrus Sildrae's keeper. Tyrus Sildrae play!
In his mind, she'd see a game of balls being thrown in the air and him impaling them before they hit the ground using his tail...or at least trying to anyways. She'd be able to tell this had been a way to test his growing reflexes, but to him...it was a fun game.
