ADULT - MUTATED SKITTY - FEMALE - ANTI-PRAVUS/POKEMON RIGHTS ACTIVIST - CAPTAIN OF A PIRATE CREW
ABOUT THE PLAYER:
OOC Account: Dance
What do you wish to be called?: Dance
Other Characters: Yes
Link to your previous character: Candy "Metalmask" Note: Can you move that profile to the Pokemon group in the Accepted Profiles? Thanks!
BASIC INFORMATION:
Full Name: Oceania
Nickname(s): Captain, Ma'am, Oceania
Gender: Female
Level: 45
Age in Human Years: Six
Allegiance: Anti-Pravus/Pokemon Rights Activists
Occupation (Position) : Captain of the all-Pokemon pirate crew known as the Freebooters, who travel around on the ship Freedom
Species: Mutated Skitty
Powers: Water Type Moves- Oceania's type is both Water and Normal, thus granting her the ability to use water type moves. They are similar to that of a Vaporeon, but she is able to use a normal Skitty's moves as well
Body Composition- Oceania's body's cellular structure is similar to the molecular composition of water. She can melt invisibly in water, then pop right up again from a puddle to a lake.
Hydrokinesis and Underwater Breathing- Oceania can freely control water, which compensates for her size, since she is as big as an average Skitty- so to speak, not big as all. Who needs physical attacks when you can send a wave crashing onto a foe out of virtually nowhere? She seems to have gills hidden under her fur as well, and can live underwater if she chooses too.
Strength- She's not supernaturally strong, but Oceania has the strength of a Persian, which is pretty much several times her size.
Attacks:
- Wish (egg move)
- Cosmic Power (egg move)
- Surf (HM)
- Waterfall (HM)
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:
Eye Color: Peppercorn (that's how she says it, anyways. It's really just dark)
Height: 2'02"
Build: Plump (she's a kitten, give her a break)
Other Appearance Information:
Oceania is a teal feline with a stumpy body and four short legs. On her face is a cream-colored, crescent-shaped marking. She has slit-like eyes and tufted ears with navy blue interiors. Its slender tail has a teal, bulky section at the end, terminated by three pin-like structures with yellow ball-like tips. In battle, her tail puffs out, and she threatens opponents with a sharp growl.
Oceania wears two accessories at all times. One of them is a velvet ribbon bow, fastened tight near the tip of her right ear. The other is a long scarf, decked with thick, light green stripes, which is wrapped around her neck. The ends are dragged on the ground as she walks, since it's much too long for her.
In short, Oceania is a adorable, as all Skitties are. She's the one who everyone wants to pet and coo and make baby faces at. Until you see her fight (and even afterwards, doubt lingers), it's near impossible to envision her as the powerful captain of the Freebooters crew.

How do they feel about Pravus?:
- Oceania is completely against them, and is currently plotting to take them down a notch, or even dispatch them.
How do they feel about Pokemon?:
- Being a Pokemon herself, Oceania gets along well with them. Her whole pirate crew is made up of them. Humans are all well and good, but Oceania can't help but believe that Pokemon are the superior ones.
How do they feel about Pokemorphs?:
- She resents the fact that humans are trying to be like Pokemon, but she doesn't downright disapprove of it.
How do they view the anti-Pravus movement?:
- Oceania is a part of them and majorly supports them. She is currently rallying up as many members as she can to strike a major blow or two against Pravus.
Personality:
- Powerful- Looks can be deceiving. Although she appears to be a cuddly kitten, she is a pirate, through and through, and a captain at that. She has a crew of corsair Pokemon under her command, and her mutations allow her a significant way of battling that has struck down many a foe in the past.
- Cheerful- For the most part, Oceania is as merry as they come. She's almost always jolly, and she loves laughing and having fun. However, her mood swings are something to beware.
- Course- This isn't surprising, considering she's a pirate. Oceania love battling, looting, gambling, cursing (her swears come out in a string of colorful words), and even drinking a sort of grog for Pokemon, which seems to be brewed from a type of seaweed.
- Cunning- Pirate captains aren't stupid brutes. Oceania is as sly as a fox and as smart as a scientist, although not academically so. She's streetwise and logical, only accepting reasonable explanations.
- Proud- Boasting is a second nature to Oceania. She tends to over exaggerate, turning ordinary skirmishes into epic wars. She holds a high opinion of herself and her crew, and never hesitates to share it.
BACKGROUND:
History:
Face the facts- it's nearly impossible to see an adorable, tiny kitten sail the seven seas as a corsair captain of an all-Pokemon pirate crew, all of them looking fiercer than their leader. So what happened? How did this come to be?
It began decades ago in the region of Hoenn, when a scientist attempted to conduct a successful experiment on his pet- you guessed it- Skitty. It didn't go as he thought it would, and instead of turning her into a kitten with Vaporeon-like attributes and hydrokinesis, it only resulted in turning her pink fear teal. Thinking that it failed, the scientist gave up. Little did he know that it had worked- only the reult would show many years later.
The Skitty's kits also had teal fur, and seemed to be able to swim. Their kittens could swim well and stay underwater for long periods of time. Their kittens seemed to be able to learn water type moves, and they could breathe and live underwater. It continued like this until the kits were exceptionally strong for their size, could manipulate water and their body composition, could swim fast and live and breathe underwater. One of these kits was named Oceania.
Thinking that her parents were rather wimpy and weren't putting their powers to any proper use, Oceania ran away and joined a small gang of water Pokemon who roved the beaches of Hoenn, stealing and roaming. They called themselves the Freebooters. She battled and cursed and had a lovely time, rapidly rising in level as she challenged each of her fellow gang members. It become clear that she was the strongest, no matter how cute and cuddly she was, when she challenged the leader and won. She took over and increased their amount of stealing and roaming. Under her leadership, the Freebooters quickly gained reputation, and they were joined by wild, troublemaking Pokemon, most of them water types.
One day, while the crew sat around telling pirate stories and laughing uproariously near under the wooden planks of a busy dock, a cargo ship moored and stopped to unload its cargo. Oceania seized the chance and issued several commands to her crew. Once all of the members of the cargo ship were out on the docks, making ready to unload the boat, the Freebooters suddenly swarmed out from under the dock and into the ship, which as open and exposed to intruders. They fought off the surprised and furious crew, who weren't very good battlers, considering that they were only merchants. As the ship took off when the final Freebooter slipped inside, the former ship members attempted to catch up with their water Pokemon, but to no avail. The Freebooters were off!
It took awhile for the crew to learn the odds and ends of handling a ship, but once they got the hang of it, they were on a roll. Oceania plotted the course to all of the other regions, and off they went. They looted only the companies that they considered "evil", such as ones that polluted the land with its factories, and they gained an immense amount of money, half of which went to the poor Pokemon (and sometimes, grudgingly, their trainers) of the region. They acted like the overseas version of the Merry Men, Oceania being the very Robin Hood himself. They rapidly gained reputation, and many more joined the ranks of the Freebooters.
While in Kalos, there was talk of a region called Remoor. Curious, Oceania spread her crew all around the region in order to gain information about it. When she learned of the civil war about to brew there, the Pravus organization, the Anti-Pravus movement, and the Pokemon Rights Activists, Oceania set off on her ship, unanimously dubbed Freedom, for Remoor. The other regions were much to calm, and the Freebooters always enjoyed a good fight- a war would be exciting! They valued freedom as well, and was set to take down Pravus for its sake, as well as help the Pokemon Rights Activists. After all, they despised the idea of being stuck in tiny Pokeballs at the whims of humans.
Oceania and her crew has reached their destination with their goals in mind. The Freebooters intend to:
- Rally up the Pokemon Rights Activists and members of the Anti-Pravus movement
- Create a secret base for their activity, as nothing official seems to have uncovered yet
- Disrupt Pravus by stealing resources, staging riots, and more
- Discard disgusting and give Pokemon the rights they deserve!
