Currently, she and her sister only work there. Help would be very much appreciated.
Species: Human.
Powers: N/A
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:
Face Claim: Alex Benedetto from Gangsta
Hair color and hair style: Black. Long, straight, and silky. Comes to around her shoulders in length.
Eye Color: A bright blue in color
Height: 5'6" and when she's wearing heels she is around 5'8"
Build: She's always been told she had "curves in all the right places." since highschool. Just because she's twenty-one now doesn't mean she doesn't hear that bullshit anymore.
Other Appearance Information:There isn't much about her to point out. She looks like a rather normal young woman with normal values and strengths to go with it. Lea is a fine definition of what Mother Nature with do to a young girl, and mash her up into a "woman". She's commonly over-sexualized to a fine point, and what she wears doesn't really help the fact. She's a plump woman with very noticeable curves, the nicest way I can put it is that Lea is a very robust woman, and she is reminded of this daily. She has a very prominent baby face, with no blemishes or scars to mar what she carefully takes care of every mourning before work. Only thing is her eyes, under them are very dark rings from sleep deprivation. She's constantly moving and always busy doing something. During the day, she managing the shop with her sister, at night she works at local bars, singing and earning a few dollars in her pocket. She likes to use her body as an advantage to get the attention on stage, and it works like a charm each and every time. She's barely home and when she is, she spends most her time sleeping ( she's off of work on weekends ) or worrying over her little sister and generally fretting and fussing a lot. So, please understand she's under a lot of stress!
Lea, other than those few minor details, looks normal and blends into a crowd with relative ease. Her black hair can be easily styled into different positions, her favorite is either between a bun ( a very messy bun, I might add ) and a ponytail. At work its swept around her shoulders on to one side to add appeal. Because everyone loves a girl with a lot of hair. Lea is also very fit, with lithe muscles in her arms and calves due to her exercise, which includes jogging, and a few sit-ups here and there. This gives her a good build and a nice opinion on her own body. She knows she can't get any skinnier, so she loves her body and loves when she gets complimented on it ( inappropriate or not ). The last and final detail is her eyes. They are rather odd because they don't go with her appearance. They are a clear azure color, and no one knows where this came from. Both her father and mother have brown eyes, and her grandmother has grey eyes. She and her siblings vary in eye coloration. No eye is the same color, which still mystifies her father and grandma even to this day.
As for fashion sense, Lea was born with very acute tastes and has learned how to embrace it. She has so many clothes that she has two closets, one in her room and one in an extra room she uses only to hold her clothes. Her sister, who lives with her, has her own extra room to hold her clothes as well. Lea has always been a fashionista when is came to clothing: never wearing the same thing twice in a year. She is found of dresses and business suits, and keeps a variety of them in her closet. Her common wear are very snug jeans and a shirt. At work, she wears common clothing along with her normal "Hello! My name is Lea." name tag pinned on her shirt somewhere. Also, she wears a visor at work, where in big, bold letters it says "Benson's Berry" on top. And at night when she works at the bars to sing, she wears rather provocative dresses where they ends at her mid-thigh ( because sex appeal means everything, don't judge her ) and the dresses vary in color and style. So, in short, Lea is a very fashionable young woman.

How do they feel about Pravus?:
She actually gets a little sick when someone even mentions their name. She feels as if she can't trust anyone anymore because they had spies everywhere and she feels trapped and paranoid. She misses the old days before Pravus "took over". Before the war, before the infection. Due to Pravus, she lost one of her first Pokémon to the infection and it had to be put down. In short, she hates the, and everything they stand for and whatever hey create she hates it with a passion. Hate is a strong word all its own but Lea can admit she feels hate for them for doing what they have done.
How do they feel about Pokemon?:
Lea actually feels this is only the right law that Remoor goes by these days. Pokémon are living, breathing, talking beings who deserve their right in full. Especially since humans have been requiring their services for Arceus knows how long, they deserve some respect and their claim to rights that they have. She's never been a Pokémon Rights Activist, but she supports this law with all her heart.
How do they feel about Pokemorphs?:
She doesn't hate them as much as she hates what they stand for and why would anyone want to put themselves through that much change and trouble and pain? They scare her more than anything. Whenever she encounters one she gets very scared and feels antsy and wary around them. They are pretty much Pravus attack dogs to her and she is powerless to do anything about it.
How do they view the anti-Pravus movement?:
Lea could never stay neutral in a fight like this. She isn't very active in the movement but have a few friends that are. Some are still trying to convince her to become more active with it, but she can honestly say she's very frightened of Pravus, and she doesn't want to get killed, okay? She has a sister to look after and a job to manage. But, she does sing of peace and prosperity, which does integrate her io the movement somewhat.
Personality:
Appreciative: Lea is the type of girl to pay you back in full for you if you've done her well or have done a favor for her. Money, hospitality, whatever you want from her she'll find one way or any other to give it to you. And she doesn't just appreciate people - she also loves the smaller things in life that make living wonderful. Something small and simple as one more customer than yesterday makes her day, especially since it puts more money in her bank account. Or maybe the sun is shining outside, or the bird are singing, maybe she just saw someone pick up something she dropped and give it back to her instead of keeping it for hemselves...doesn't that just make you smile? Doesn't that give you the warmest feeling? Well, just know it does to Lea. Small or big, she looks forward to the nice things in life.
Confident: She's always known she could do bad all by herself if she tried. She didn't need to depend on others to get what she wanted. Due to that mindset, she has a nice house, a decent job, and a good life with her sister. Lea never really like depending on her father for support like her sister does. But in a way, she understands. Her father pays for Kris to go to college, and she has a paid scholarship due to their father. Lea doesn't really like their father as much as Kris does, and generally wants to prove to him she can do things without his help. She's doesn't well so far, so why stop now? As confident as she is, she cannot help to be a little arrogant at times. She's happy she's doing so well with her life, and her confidence and independence has something to do with that.
Generous: She was taught at a young age that kindness was a virtue, especially towards those less fortunate than her. Just because she had everything she wanted didn't mean everyone else did. It was a wake up call to see so many homeless people she has, so she invites everyone into her shop. Rich or poor. She doesn't mind lending a helping hand whenever you just might need it. Down on your luck? Come to her, she doesn't bite. Need some advice? She'll try her hardest to help out whenever she possibly can to make your life a bit easier. Need some food? She sure as hell can't cook but she'll try her hardest not to blow up anything. She's always around to lend a listening ear or give a hug when you most desperately need it.
Shy: At first glance she looks pretty and very self-absorbed, but speaking to her for the first time will probably awkward. Wary and quiet, inquisitive and nervous, and very passive - Lea isn't the ray of sunshine when you first meet her. She's always had a sheltered life before she began to distance herself from her father and start her own life, she can almost come off as blunt and antisocial at first, but getting to know her isn't really hard at all. Lea has always loved to smile, so after a few days of greeting her she'll be smiling and acting as of she knew you forever and a day. Never judge a book by its cover because this book just might surprise you and leave you hanging at the end if you assume too much. With new people, she fidgets and doesn't make direct eye contact, looking at her shoes, or making up and excuse to turn away from you and do something else is common from her. All you have to do is be patient.
Mellow: There's always been something calm and fluid about Lea that attracts most people to her like flies to carrion. She's always been rather charismatic to a point, a go-with-the-flow type of girl. She likes to relax and take it easy and watch television and cuddle up in her blankets but side she's so busy during the week, there's only so much she can do, y'know? And during the weekend she's always so tired and she tends to sleep more than she parties and has fun. Only one that can actually pull her own of bed to do something is possibly only her sister, who has repeatedly been called the "life of the party" for obvious reasons. Sometimes Lea envies that about Kris, but it doesn't mean she won't stop doing what she's doing. She cares a little BT more about paying bills and going to work than having fun these days.
Easily frightened: If it wasn't too obvious, Lea can be scared by the most small things. She's very scared of bug type Pokémon and the dark ( yes. She's twenty-one and afraid of the dark, don't judge. ) and anything confusion frightens her as well. If you can't understand something its best to fear it, right? She's a bit of a mouse when it comes to these this, always jumpy and ready to run away. Not saying she is a coward...well, yes. She's a coward, but she isn't afraid of everything that crosses her path! She especially isn't afraid of people. People are just living beings just like her, which can easily be killed r subdued by something large than themselves. Fear is only in your imagination - well then Lea has a very widespread imagination full of goblins and ghouls and the unknown. If she is scared of something she'll become very pessimistic and blunt, violent even if she feels the need to be.
BACKGROUND:
History:
- birth - Lea was the first born of the Benson kids. No matter how much their father hoped and prayed to Arceus for a little boy, they got a bouncy baby girl who was quite the rowdy one. Alois benson, her mother would just pat her husband's shoulder and laughs as she "told him so". She always had the inner feeling that her first child would always be a girl no matter what. Alois and Ezra met during prom, both of them had no date and time to spare, so they decided to dance with each other. Ezra was a pimple-faced goofball and stroke up lame puns and jokes the whole time they danced, he was a usually unnoticed bookworm, the nerd would got shoved into lockers a lot - but Alois found him awkwardly charming, despite his horrible jokes. He could barely dance, either, as he kept stepping on her shoes and tripping each time. Alois was enchanted, most of the guys she ever dated were grade A+ erks who usually never went to second base nor attempted to met her parents. Ezra was also short, as Alois was a head taller than him but she didn't care. She liked Ezra, and Ezra simply blushed and bumbled his way into her heart.
The pair went to college together, moving from Remoor into Kalos, where there was an excellent program for the both of them. Alois was always a rough and tumble type of woman, and she desired a more "hands on" approach to learning, while Ezra was always mister smarty-pants. he liked science, more over astronomy and the study of the unknown, in college he became a more confident and explosive individual, often always too in dept in his work to listen to Alois' pleas of attention.
She was twenty-one when she got pregnant with Lea, and Ezra was elated. he really wanted a boy, but when he found out due to the ultrasound that his child was actually a female he was somewhat dissatisfied, but happy either way. he loved his child, no matter what gender she was. Mother Joan, Alois' mother and Lea's grandmother, was eagery awaking to hold her first grandchild, and when she finally did she just kept smiling and cooing over the little bundle. Lea, as a small child, always looked sleepy, she had droopy eyes, and a constant frown, as if contemplating to sleep or not. Overall, small little Lea was a bundle of joy for her parents and grandmother, who was heavily involved in her life at the time.- kris - After two years of bliss being the only child, she got a surprise when her mother said she was pregnant again, this time it was another girl. Father had found out he had a soft side for girls, apbecause he actually enjoyed playing Barbie and playing dress-up with Lea, so when his second daughter was born he was literally in tears. Kris Benson was more smaller and delicate than Lea, long-limbed and loud, she cried constantly. Lea was very happy to have a sibling around to play with, and she liked holding Kris in her still chubby two year old arms when her mother would let her. The only thing she didn't like was the constant crying and how much attention Kris was getting around the house. Especially from their father.
Kris was more rowdy that Lea ever was. She cried a lot. So much, Lea knew their neighbours could hear that racket into the early hours of the night. It was very hard for her to get any sleep around this time. Ezra and Alois were looking rather stressed as well. With Alois being a housewife she got the full force of the chaos while Ezra was working on his business law degree. Whenever she could Lea would be at Grandma Joan's house, at least was quiet there. And Grandma made the best cookies and let her stay up late with her to watch those trashy talk shows that come on after she went to bed. Grandma Joan just winks and says it would be their little secret and Lea just winks back. Secrets weren't not supposed to be told, at least that was what she knew.- school - Finally, around the time Kris stopped crying and making a mess around the house, was around the time Lea had to go to school. At five years old, she had grown out most of her clothes and Alois and Grandma Joan bought plenty more to replace the ones she could fit. School was fun, however. Everyone treated her nicely, especially the teachers. She didn't know why, though. It was like she had a bubble around her that made everyone else not be mean to her. Later on she finds out that it was because of Grandma Joan and her status. Grandma used to be a professional Heavyweight Female boxer back in her younger days, and Lea wasn't really sure how this applied to ranging. Joan had retired years ago, but had retired in style. Lea had always wondered why her house was so big, or why her refrigerator was so stocked. No wonder mother and father owned such a big house!
But it wasn't just all her grandmother, for Alois had been a very well-known model before she became pregnant, and dad was working on his law degree, so they both pitched in as much as possible. Mother was even considering modeling again due to Kris learning how to walk and she was talking too. So, in short, Lea found out at a young age being rich made everyone nice to you. But she didn't want that. She felt like everyone were being weird and fake towards her. She began to become paranoid. What if everyone hated her, they were just putting on masks and acting as if they wanted to be her friend so they could take advantage of her? In elementary school she learned trusting people was a hard ball game, and she didn't wanna be famous anymore. She wanted to be Lea.
This actually ruined the whole time at elementary school, and she tried to make friends...only to find out they were using her in the end. It was a big wake up call towards the end of four grade when she had enough of all this lying to her. She began to distance herself from others, being rude to those who tried to get close to her. She had little to no trust towards anyone, at least, not anymore.
When she was nine, she heard there was something going on outside. Not like, something small - something bad was happening. Even Grandma Joan was looking a bit grim about it. Only one word made much of any type of sense to her: 'Mewtwo'. She heard her cousin, Jamiee, was going out there to fight Mewtwo with all the soldiers and guns and stuff. Her father got a new job, too. He had gotten his degree in law in and working for the people who were gonna stop Mewtwo, making weapons for the soldiers and being helpful. He was constantly ( and sometimes literally ) buried in paperwork. So much that he couldn't play with Kris or Lea anymore. Seven year old Kris stuck to Lea like glue whenever there was nothing to do and Lea understood why, it was dangerous out there, and she needed to take care of her baby sister while to grown ups were distracted with work and war and whatever grown ups did for fun. Mother started staying home a lot more, and Lea had a good guess why.- ajna - The third and last Benson child was born in the most heated part of Remoor's war against Mewtwo and his clones. Except, surprisingly while everyone expected another little girl, Arceus thought it was really funny to give them a boy this time. Ajna Benson was affectionate and clay, he was constantly wrapped around Lea's legs or hiding under Kris' skirt away from strangers. He was shy, yet perky and always seemed to have a kind word to say. Also around this time, Kris and Lea get their first Pokémon. Kris gets a small Chatot named Pepe, and Lea gets a Snubbull, which she names Jamal.
During their time with their Pokémon, they train them, much to the delight of Ajna, who was very eager to get his own Pokémon and become a gym leader, especially when he watched Gym battles on TV, even during the war, which had news captions everywhere about dying soldiers, big clones, Mewtwo's wrath, or how Pravus was helping the fight through and through, the three children remained to have some type of vauge optimism with them at all times, as if nothing really bad was happening.
Since Lea and the kids stopped seeing their father around as much, they began to distance themselves from him when they actually did see him. Although the man was not on the battlefield fighting this war, he was helping. He was always tired; exhausted, even. The only one of those three siblings that stayed relatively close to their father was Kris, who had always been a daddy's girl from the very beginning. Ajna never decently got to know his father at this time, he just clung to Lea's leg and studied his thumb and hid from everyone. The war was really hitting home on some people. Families were losing their children, grandchildren; sons and daughters. While the already crumbling government had little to no money to pay for anything. Remoor was literally in Pravus' hands, and they were doing to good enough job keeping their little small world from crumbling down in a spiral.
Lea knew her only priority was to protect the ones she loved. She was big sister, and it was her job to cover their little innocent eyes and make sure everything was going to be okay. Sometimes, Ajna would have nightmares about clones going to gobble him up, and since their mother was working to support them, Lea had to step in as a substitute and dry his tears and hold him until he fell back asleep again. Although she was only ten years old at the time, didn't mean the war didn't hit her as hard as it hit the others.- school, again - Let us fast forward a bit, now Lea is in highschool at fourteen years of age. Kris is twelve years old, and Ajna is five years old. Lea always thought highschool was a really - weird place. The people you've known since kindergarten have changed in such a short time span. That bully who you always avoided? He wore glasses now. That popular girl who was always too nice to you? She gained some weight. Lea, however, only grew a bit taller and suddenly you can't fit those clothes you got area months ago. Suddenly you look in the mirror and everything is different. So different, boys start to pay a lot more attention to you. And you get a little freaked out because back then you only considered guys as friends and now suddenly they're all over you.
You begin to feel increasingly awkward to do that. Some jerk even had the guts to grope you in the hallway? A well-aimed kick to his stomach makes him back off. But not before telling you his name. Frederick, but he told you to call him Freddy, and you introduce yourself but of course he's already heard of you. You remember your related to rich people and you sigh. Before you can get a smart retort he's already gone, and your left alone in the hallway once again.- casanova - As time goes by, you begin to get letters. Love letters from some mysterious guy that called himself "Casanova". She didn't really think much of , to bee honest. They were cutesy and rather full of love puns and jokes, it was as if this guy couldn't understand his own emotions clearly and didn't understand how to process his affection for her. Lea thought. Was cute, sometimes even wring back. The two became regular penpals, and although Lea had a good feeling it was Frederick writing those letters, she didn't confront him about it. The two weren't exactly close, however. Frederick was a rough, rude type of guy. A badass was the aura he got off from, Lea didn't like him, didn't think he was proper boyfriend material due to this. There was some lingering rumor that Frederick was in a gang, which he embraced. Lea didn't know if he was or wasn't. She didn't question him.
The letters continued through her junior year of highsool. No other boy showed a more intense interest in her other than Frederick, whom decided it was his "duty" to protect her. For Valentine's Day, she got a rose from Frederick himself, and he looked very embarrassed, sweating profusely and swearing more than usual. He walked her home and treated her like a lady. He kept trying to act toh for public purposes at school, but he didn't have anyone fooled. He liked Lea, and he judged didn't know how to admit it. Girls commonly chased after him first...yet he only had eyes for one girl. One girl who barely showed him the time of day. He made a lot of excuses to be near her. He babysat Ajna ( for the boy was going through a very destructive stage in life ) or attempted to help Kris with her homework. Casanova, at random inetervals, would stop giving Lea letters for weeks; and she would get worries. Around Tue same time she wouldn't get any letters, Frederick stopped coming to school. Something was wrong. And Lea took it upon herself one day, to investigate. She just never thought wanting to know, wanting to save someone would hurt her in the long run.- gangs -
