"Nel, have you considered taking Luka out of the house lately?"
The Aurorus was nestled quietly in the corner of the small courtyard the apartment buildings had, watching Nelio as he fiddled with a metallic substance between his hands, shaping and shifting it. He was trying to find something new to make--a trinket maybe, for Luka now that they were talking about it, or a new blade. The last one was a little...dented from the previous activity he had used it for. He paused in his metal-bending to push the images struggling to come forth at the back of his head. He didn't want to think about it. He didn't want to see the blood. "I, uhm... No...why?"
Luna smiled gently at him, lowering her head to nuzzle against the hair with the cut that firmly resembled a mullet; it was pulled back tight into a ponytail, a few inches long. She nipped at the black shirt he was wearing, tugging on it stubbornly. "Well, you know how he gets. I'm fairly sure he's bored sitting inside the apartment all day long." Nelio was aware of the slightly younger male's restlessness being in one place so much, more for his safety than anything else, but he knew he was too cautious. He just did not want to see him get hurt. He shuddered at the idea of it. "I'm just saying that it might be good to get out...for all of us."
The dinosaur playfully nudged at his side, which received a playful shove in return. He fiddled with the metal in between his hands in a few moments of silent contemplation. "...Why not? I...could probably, uhm...use it too." The smile on the Pokemon's face returned even wider. Nelio knew he needed the break, considering recent events, a few days ago or not, and a distraction would be welcomed. Seeing everyone out and about on a decent day would be nice. It's a bit chilly though... Winter was a little hard on the small island. The chill was unwelcome due to the normally warm days; there wasn't ever much snow.
With a sigh, the bodyguard heaved himself up from where he was sitting, grabbing his jacket and trekking inside, leaving Luna where she was. She would join them shortly either way, and he pressed up the stairs at a quick pace, slipping in through the door of the apartment he shared with the cult's prince. The brown eyes flicked around, not seeing him in the living room. His room maybe. "Luka?" His tone was soft, as usual, and there could've been a chance that he didn't hear him. Luna lifted her head outside, peering in through the window curiously. His tone rose in volume a little as he shuffled into the kitchen, reaching to pet the small fire slug on the head that was sitting there, snoozing, "Luka...do you guys, uhm...want to go to the park?" He wondered if they would even hear him.
Luna stuck her head in through the window, "If you don't get up in the next two minutes, we'll go to the park without you~"
"L-Luna!"
"What? The motivation is good for them."

Luka was in his room, and he was technically still in bed, but he was far from asleep. The curtains were open, wan sunlight filtering in through the window. Nelio had left the house before Luka woke that morning, Ciro was still dozing in his pokeball after the particularly chilly previous night had driven him out of the courtyard, and Vito was nowhere to be found. The house had been quiet and mostly empty that morning, and the television couldn't offer him much in the way of entertainment either. Before too long, he'd tossed the remote to Felice as the Delphox emerged from the kitchen with burnt bacon and tea, and returned to his room with a book that he'd borrowed from Nelio the other night. Eventually, Louie had slouched into the room as well, and the arrangement had eventually ended up with the Luxray sprawled across the lower half of Luka's bed, one of the blond's legs thrown carelessly over the electric cat's back and the other being used as a makeshift pillow by the Pokemon itself.
Louie was content to doze in the sun, meager as it was, and for an hour or so Luka did try to immerse himself in the story. As time wore on though, he started to skim over paragraphs and flick between pages distractedly. Sounds filtered in from outdoors, car engines, voices of the other tenants in the stairwell, and passers-by on the street outside the window. Luka's thoughts began to stray further from the page; he thought of a familiar long corridors and dank little rooms. Those thoughts were shoved away violently as he realised exactly where they were leading him. He could see the text in front of him and understand the words, but it wasn't sinking in any more. Reaching the end of his (not very exceptional) patience with an huff and a curse, he tossed it onto the bedside table. Snap decision made, the young man practically vaulted from his bed, disturbing Louie in the process and earning a discontented growl. "Watch it!" Dual coloured eyes cracked open to stare balefully at Luka as the young man flitted about his room. "What's going on with you? Why so bugsy?"
"Antsy, the word is antsy," Luka told him distractedly, now at the clothes rack on the other side of the room. Fed up and craving a distraction of some kind, the blond was clearly in one of those moods again, something that was not unfamiliar to most of the souls that shared the apartment with him. "Nothing's going on with me. That's the problem. There's nothing happening in here. At all." Luka paused to consider the shirt in his hands, somewhat worn and beginning to go a little threadbare, and with a dismissive noise tossed it onto the bed instead. Grimacing, Louie pushed it off onto the floor. I'm going to--" The blond paused as a familiar voice reached him through the wall that separated the kitchen from the bedroom on the other side. Luka's agitated expression smoothed over somewhat at the familiar tone, and from there the corners of his mouth quirked into a smile as a more feminine voice joined in with the wake-up call. Perfect timing. On the bed, Louie groaned and muttered something about overgrown lizards as Luka raised his voice to be heard through the plaster.
"What, and deprive you of the pleasure of my company? You know I wouldn't do that to you, Luna. Give me five minutes, and I'll be right out." Luka did adore the dinosaur and her sense of humour, but he wasn't going to jump to attention for just anyone. Somewhere between two and five minutes later, Luka emerged from his bedroom somewhat haphazardly dressed, but thankfully in warmer clothes given the weather; although there was some sun today, the wind still had bite to it. Luka despised the cold most days, but how willing he was to bear it was proportional to the amount of time he'd spent cooped up indoors beforehand. Today... well. He could stand a bit of a chill. Stepping into the kitchen, he first spotted the Aurorus, and flashed a grin at the ice-type. "See? No time at all."
Luna was hard to miss, by virtue of being a blue dinosaur with her head stuck in the kitchen window, but it didn't take much hunting around for Nelio either. Even as introverted as he was, the older man really took up a room. He was a big guy, imposing. Certainly he looked the part of a bodyguard, and it often puzzled Luka just how borderline insecure his friend seemed to be about it. It wasn't uncommon to see the man in a heavy coat and multiple layers even in the warmest weather. That wasn't the case today, however, and it was oddly out of place at first, to see him standing around in just the black shirt. Briefly, Luka felt the urge to comment on it, but it passed quickly enough that he didn't think twice about it. "Morning, Nel. Afternoon... whatever. You guys started early this morning; you were out the door before I even got out of bed." There was a slight note of petulance in the observation, but honestly, it was a difficult feat to wake Luka before he was ready to rise. The so-called prince could sleep like the dead.
Moments later, Louie slunk into the kitchen behind his trainer with a loud yawn. He glanced between the humans and the dinosaur, giving all parties involved a rather hard look. "The park will still be there in an hour. In three hours. Where's the urgency?"
"Talking." "Pokemon talking." Thinking.

The blue dragon rolled her eyes, the snort accompanied with a chilled puff of air in the direction of the room where the voice came from, "Come now, Nelio makes just fine company as well, and he will make fine company to our walk if you don't hurry." Of course, she had little to no intention of actually leaving them there at all. There was no point to that, considering how stir crazy the blonde could get once he caught a bit of cabin fever, which happened more often than not. Not that she could blame the blonde. Nelio had a tendency to be over-worrying and over-protective of him, simply because of his disorder, even though Nelio had every right to worry. Sometimes he did too much.
"No time at all? That felt like eternity. You can be quite lazy sometimes." She said it with a good-natured grin towards the blonde male, even though it was true. Again, she couldn't blame him. What much else was there to do when the bodyguard wouldn't let him out of the house without supervision or without good reason to leave? Nelio wasn't cruel about it, simply concerned and protective, following orders, stepping lightly over broken glass. They had been given a longer leash to be allowed to live on their own, and considering Nelio's...affections for the blonde being known by the rabid ghost of a cult leader, he was more careful than normal. "Well, at least you're out, which means we can get moving to the park before my legs fall asleep."
Luka's presence grabbed the attention of the brunette with little issue, and that insecurity suddenly sprung up again. Natural as he could, he reached out and took the jacket from where it had been flung onto the chair. One arm, second arm, the familiar zipping noise as the fabric closed around his throat quickly. And suddenly that insecurity disappeared and any lingering blush would vanish quickly. "Afternoon, Luka..." A small smile reached his face at the comment, wanting to make a statement about how Luka could sleep in until dinner time if he wanted to, it seemed. "Ah, well...you know what they say. The...early bird, uh, catches the worm." He sincerely didn't want to admit that he couldn't sleep again, that his dreams were plagued with nightmares that left him silent and breathless before he woke. No, he couldn't worry him like that.
"You can call it whatever you want, Nel, but you work too hard. I don't think you have enough skin left to fit anymore muscle in there." Luna was good at covering for him, even though he tossed her a gentle look for the statement. She knew he didn't want to tell anyone, and that was his business, even if she worried profusely over him because of it. She could not tell anyone for him nor could she make him tell anyone, that was something he was supposed to do, something he had to do. It didn't work otherwise. "I was just, uh, out training. How is your morning?" That was the best excuse that he could use for the moment. "I need to...keep up with my, uh...health, and such." Honestly, he didn't really need do. He was perfectly healthy.
Then the cat walked in, and Luna's disposition suddenly became negative, "Oh, look, the peanut gallery--no one asked you, furball." Nelio simply cast the feline a glance and sighed. He knew Luna would be like this, she usually was, and there was not much he could do about it. She was bigger and stronger than he was. She would've given the feline a better chance if he hadn't been such a royal prick. "The weather isn't, uhm...going to get much nicer..." The bodyguard tried to diffuse the situation before it even became a situation in the first place, shifting his body to move towards the door as Luna's head partially receded out the window. "Ah....anyways...are we ready to, uh, leave?"
His hand was on the door, turning the knob, his face turning to look at the others as he opened it, waiting patiently.
