Allegiance: Anti-Pravus.
Occupation:Species: Mutant.
- Dual Specialist Trainer- Iason has dedicated all his time to being a trainer, a trainer of Dragon and Fire types to be exact. Despite being such trainer, Iason does capture electric types too because they fascinate him though he does not capture nearly as many electric types than dragon or fire. After all, fire types were his only best friend as a child.
- Nurse- Lets not get confused on this one, Iason is a pokemon nurse and he has learned how to take care of dragon, fire and electric types- medically, but he hasn't really completed his knowledge of such in this category.

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:

Hair color and hair style: Navy blue and gently spiked.
Eye Color: Black or navy blue.
Height: 5'7''.
Build: They are more lean, lithe. An agile build but not scrawny.
Skintone: Palish.
Other Appearance Information:
This man, or well- young adult, has medium navy blue hair that is gently spiked. Normally being seen in more old fashioned attire too, Iason does occasionally wear his old attire that he had before the kidnapping. That being a short sleeved blue shirt and jeans, or something along the lines that can be considered pants [or trousers, whichever term you prefer]. And depending on who describes him, some may say he has navy blue eyes or black. Nothing much to his appearance, really. Yet there are two distinct scars- both scars were the word b**** that had been etched into his skin a couple years ago. One on his left hip and the other on his left inner thigh. There is also another scar on his lower right rib cage and another near the left of his upper back. Old stab injuries that scarred with the process of healing.
PERSONALITY:
Likes:Dislikes:
- Being in crowds.
- Radios.
- Quietness.
- People in general.
- Spicy food.
- Small spaces- they have became a comfort for him.
Strengths:
- Talking.
- Technology.
- Loudness.
- Rudeness.
- Pravus.
- Darkness.
Weaknesses:
- How bonded he is with his pokemon.
- The 'mutant' powers.
- His loyalty.
- Semi-friendliness.
- Introverted.
Personality:
- Issues with getting to deep into a relationship with a person.
- Financially unstable.
- Doesn't exactly have a roof over his head all the time.
- Bones are frail and light, due to the powers.
- Fears of being drowned and/or poisoned.
A quiet man who doesn't talk much would be what some people would say, but he is surprisingly social despite this. He will go out and involve himself in groups, he will listen to them- but as mentioned, he won't participate much through speaking. This also would mean he is quite obedient but he isn't- unless he is for certain that the task was given by a higher power or if he knows that the plan they'll execute will work, Iason merely won't do it. Even with bribing, coaxing and encouraging. Pestering would get him to do so, eventually.
And besides this, Iason tends to be a very caring man. Or well, teenager. He'll worry and fret over pokemon or people that he is close to. Especially if they are in trouble. In which case, he will try to help them out if possible. Unless he does believe it'll actually help them to figure out the situation themselves, which is on occasional- then he'll just leave them alone to figure it out themselves. No matter how much it hurts to know that he left them in that situation.
Now one thing that surprises people about Iason is that he also hates most forms of technology. Computers, cell phones, cameras, gaming system, television- all of that stuff. The exception to this are radio's and clocks, but besides this- most of the technology falls into his dislikes. What he also dislikes is Pravus. Even if it is order in the region, Iason sees them as a tyrant. Especially with the history of the place and all, but yeah- that is his opinion on the city of Pravus.
As for what damage the abuse did to this man- well it isn't very clear in his personality. Possibly how quiet he is but he has always been a quiet person in general, since around the age of seven or so. But when people try to get into a deep relationship with him, that is when this said damage starts to show. He is good around friends and maybe best friends but he has trust issues and refuses to go any further than best friends unless the said person can somehow gain his trust. That being a very difficult task but not impossible.
BACKGROUND:
History:
Note, this section will contain content that may be triggering but will be kept as PG-13 as possible. Please continue to read with caution.
Twenty years ago, in Kanto, Iason Xanthopoulos was born to a busy mother and a sadistic father. His mother, being the oblivious and heads over heels lady she was, didn't think anything was wrong with the man she married besides being a bit to rough in the bedroom department. And being so busy, his mother left him at home nearly all the time. The times she did come home, Iason was either asleep or at school so him and his mother barely interacted. The most notable time that they had, Iason was three and it was when she gave him Artemis. The Arcanine that has stuck with Iason since, and the one Iason sees as a companion to the end. A very loyal creature.
But as time progressed, his father got more physical. His mother shrugged it off with Iason being clumsy, so she didn't worry to much- that is when she was home and noticed the occasional bruise. Such marks rarely ever touched his face either, and wearing long sleeves- the teacher's didn't notice. The ones on his lower legs were deemed by the teachers for him being frail and falling down too, which he did a lot at recess. Plus, Iason was to scared to really speak up about it and he thought every child had to endure such punishment- even if Iason didn't know what he did most of the time. So he did not say anything.
It got worse and worse, more things were forced upon him and something severe happened when he was ten. Which can't be explained, but noted. But thankfully, it finally stopped when he was fifteen. His father wanted him out of the house, claiming to no longer be able to deal with him. So with a Dratini at level ten that his father got for him, to get him out of the house, he visited the laboratory where he got the basics he needed. Excluding the starter he already had. Before he left his village, Iason took Artemis with him at one last visit at that house he hated.
So training began and so did his adventure. His first pokemon caught being a Swablu which he loved, and later on a Zigzagoon. But a couple days after catching the Bedrill, he traded it for a Slugma from a more experienced trainer who wanted that strange pokemon. Six months in, he caught a Scyther too- also traded, but this time it was for an Electrike. Yet shortly after the trade, Iason was kidnapped and stolen away to Remoor. He lived in isolation, oblivious to what was going on as he was locked away in the house. Only reading newspapers of what was going on that seemed so new and basically like fantasy to him.
Everything was good with this man, at first. He didn't quite like this kidnapper either, of course not, but in the first month he was treated decent. Then the treatment got worse over the rest of the year. Iason began to be used more as a plaything than anything, someone whose body was there to be used and emotions to be toyed with. He hardened up his emotions over time to stranger and trained his pokemon, which he was allowed to do. One time even being given a level thirty Larvesta to train when his pokemon, besides Artemis, hit that level.
At nineteen, this kidnapper tried to kill Iason. It had gone to far, his pokemon, who were now stronger and all of them at their final evolution stage- besides Larvesta, snapped. The Larvesta was first to witness the brutal struggle between the two, which was very out of the ordinary, and forced evolved to protect him. With the fire bug helping him, Iason managed to released Aries and Hermes. The first two pokeballs that he grabbed. The two, with the new Volcarona, took down the kidnapper for good. Being out in the more deserted part of the region and the man having no family, the death was looked over by officials and just deemed it as 'what the guy had coming for him'.
After the three pokemon had gotten rid of the man, Hermes and Chronos were returned to their pokeballls. Aries flew Iason to the nearest hospital, where he was hospitalized for three weeks with a broken arm and two severe stab wounds. His pokemon were also taken care of, which enticed Iason to become a Pokemon Nurse. Ever since his release from the hospital, he has been working towards becoming one though so far he is only good with dragon, fire and slightly electric. And with more knowledge of the events and history of Pravus, Iason has turned against Pravus. Part of no gang, no group, but of Anti-Pravus alignment- Iason walks with his pokemon.
Pokemon:
Aries, a Dragonite.
Male -- Level 60 -- Multiscale.
Rash -- 235/235 HP -- 0 EXP.
Attacks: Dragon Rush, Dragon Tail, Thunder Punch, Fire Punch, Incinerate, Flamethrower, Draco Meteor, Fly.
Aries was given to Iason as a Dratini at level ten as Iason's starter pokemon, Iason starting to be a trainer at fifteen. His father, despite Iason's history, had given him the pokemon at this age and at this level so he could leave the house. As for how Aries behaves, this Dragonite has a brutal nature. Loving to fight, battle and over all get into the action- Iason had no problem with relentless training. This pokemon is also very obedient to his owner and enjoys the company, despite how Iason has to keep him in his pokeball. Aries also tends to try and pick fights with things smaller than it, if Iason doesn't hold him back.
Artemis, an Arcanine.
Male -- Level 65 -- Flash Fire.
Timid -- 253/253 HP -- 0 EXP.
Attacks: Thunder Fang, Fire Fang, Extreme Speed, Will-O-Wisp, Hyper Beam, Take Down, Hyper Beam, Rest.
Artemis was given to Iason when Iason was three- it has been with him ever since. Through the abusive life style, to getting his starter, to moving to Remoor Region. An old, wise Arcanine that was evolved by his grandfather than passed down to his mother- then to him. This Arcanine is startled easily and can get very fearful. It hates fighting and absolutely doesn't prefer to get into the action. Artemis is actually more of a lap dog than anything, liking to sit on the side likes and cheer everyone on. A good supporter to you when you get to know him.
Aphrodite, an Altaria.
Male -- Level 55 -- Cloud Nine.
Gentle -- 199/199 HP -- 0 EXP.
Attacks: Dragon Breath, Dragon Dance, Dragon Pulse, Perish Song, Fly, Moonblast, Sky Attack, Draco Meteor.
Aphrodite was Iason's first wild pokemon encounter, a Swablu back then but it was his first successful capture as well. He has stuck besides Iason and is a fairly loyal pokemon, gentle and caring. Yet he does have a bloodthirsty streak and like Aries, he tends to love to get into the blood shed. Loving to train and get stronger, like all of his pokemon. Except for Artemis, the elderly Arcanine who continues to fight but on rare occasions. Aphrodite is quite good friends with that beast.
Hephaestus, a Magcargo.
Female -- Level 55 -- Magma Armor.
Bold -- 171/171 HP -- 0 EXP.
Attacks: Smack Down, Flamethrower, Will-O-Wisp, Lava Plume, Shell Smash, Solar Beam, Hyper Beam, Ember.
A motherly Magcargo, this pokemon will do anything to please and to comfort. Despite her lava-body and everything, which she tends to either ignore or be careful with. But she is also bold, going to be the first one to go out and investigate things that seem to peculiar. She is also loyal and loves to train- like the rest of Iason's pokemon and the traits that they all seem to have, excluding Artemis who hates to train but is severely loyal.
Hermes, a Manectric.
Male -- Level 55 -- Lightning Rod.
Mild -- 193/193 HP -- 0 EXP.
Attacks: Thunderbolt, Thunder, Charge Beam, Volt Switch, Flamethrower, Thunder Fang, Discharge, Bite.
A solemn, strong pokemon- Hermes is more to sit back and watch what is going on unless Iason is getting hurt or in trouble. With loyalty and loving to be trained, he seems to fit in just fine among the rest of his owner's pokemon. Though he is more stotic than the others, he is still caring and kind of like them. But everyone is unique in their own way.
Chronos, a Volcarona.
Female -- Level 55 -- Flame Body.
Serious -- 210/210 HP -- 0 EXP.
Attacks: Fly, U-Turn, Wild Charge, Confide, Overheat, Rest, Incinerate, Flame Charge.
A loyal and obedient pokemon, this Volcarona will risk its life for its master and whoever is close to her. It was originally given to Iason by his kidnapper as a Larvesta and then forced evolved to be better able to protect Iason when he was about to be killed. This just proves how loyal Chronos is, and Iason appreciates this. Besides those traits, Chronos is also kind but loves to be trained. It has a bit more fur around its neck too, caused by force evolution.ROLE-PLAYING SAMPLE:The sound of shoes tapping across the cold tile of the academy echoed in the empty hallways, it was early in the morning and the teenager assumed that everyone would still be asleep. Yet there was a reason why he had woke up so early, why he was walking down that bleak hallway and why he seemed fairly well dressed. It was his first day at the academy and he was going to be getting a test along with his first pokemon. Therefor, Iason was excited and decided to get up early enough so he didn't have to wait his turn to talk to the principle in the office.
Blue hair was brushed through, for once- normally he didn't care abut it as long as it wasn't sticking up all over the place. But besides that, he wore his regular attire. Jeans, a t-shirt- the only thing different were the black dress shoes that were making that tapping sound on the tile of the hallway. Iason's sneakers had worn through and he had yet to get a new pair, these being his only decent pair of shoes at the moment. Besides the fact that he also didn't want to look like a scruffy troublemaker off the streets.
As for where he came from? Iason had came from Kanto but upon enrollment, he was put into team Kalos. Something he didn't mind and was actually quite curious about that region. That being why he was also so excited to actually start. One of the reasons at least. The others being that he could finally shove his home life into the past and didn't have to worry about much else. If he could start fresh and manage this adventure, Iason would be satisfied.
"I wonder if I will get a dragon or a fire type, they both are interesting. So is electric but I didn't go with that as a specialist- i'm pretty sure I didn't," Iason thought to himself as he continued to walk down the empty hallway. He remained quiet, he wasn't humming or whistling- the only noise stayed at the sound of his shoes. "I choose to be a dual specialist, dragon and fire. A trainer but also a nurse. I'm pretty sure, I do have a good memory," Iason added to his thoughts.
What snapped him out of his moment of thinking was when he spotted the room which brought him to a halt. Looking over it, he read the room number and the name to the room. 'Principle Sash's Office,' and this was where he was suppose to go. Suddenly, some nerves washed over him. Yet Iason quickly choked them down.
At first he knocked but proceeded to turn the cold metal doorknob, walking into the nice room. Quietly, and gently, he closed the door behind him. Hearing the click, he let go of the door and walked further into the room. "Principle Sash? I am Iason Xanthopoulos, i'm here for my test and starter pokemon," The fifteen year old called out. He didn't see her yet but figured she was around.
Why wouldn't she be? It was relatively early but Iason figured she'd be at work already. Considering he thought she had a lot to deal with, paper work and other students enrolling. But then again, maybe it was her day off. Maybe who he thought was a female was actually male? "I will find out soon," Iason told himself through thoughts to the questions overwhelming him, and the possibilities.
For now, Iason just straightened his back and stuffed his hands in his pockets. Then proceeded to patiently wait in blissful silence that filled the room, except for the occasional ticking of a nearby clock that was probably on the desk or on the wall somewhere.
"If you are busy, I can come back later, I know it is a bit to early for people to start showing up in your office," Iason suddenly added before falling silent again. Iason loved to be social but he didn't speak much, yet he figured it'd be a nice offer for the principle encase she was to busy. Didn't want to bother the person, may make them angry and grumpy.
Angry and grumpy were two traits that Iason didn't quite like and actually scared him. Coming from an abusive home, he had learned better to avoid both of those and to try his best not to provoke either of those traits from a person either. It could end badly, especially for Iason. So he normally refrained from trying to upset people, or speaking for that matter. It was probably why he was so quiet.
But surprisingly, Iason wasn't obedient. Unless a task or whatever he had to do was given by a superior or Iason knew the plan was going to work, he simply wouldn't do what was asked of him- the majority of the time. So that was one thing people would find a bit difficult about him. A couple other traits about him would probably set someone off or find difficult about him too but that'd probably be it.
He could get along well with others, after all, he did like to get involved in social situations. But the issue was them getting along with him, or if Iason didn't like people- plus the fact he was a bit weary of making friends. So besides the difficult bits and that, Iason would most likely get along just fine at the academy.
The academy did seem like it had some peaceful traits about it too, so surely the people here would be friendly and not to much of troublemakers. But getting Iason up and ready, optimistic and energetic for something would be a challenge for his team and the friends he would make here. Hopefully not to much of a challenge. Especially after they got to know him, became friends with him and got use to the way he acts around them and his pokemon. He could be quite caring too, even if it didn't seem like it.
