Pain. That was the only thing Michi was feeling as she slumped down underneath the shade of a tree. The searing pain she felt from the sheer amount of people in the park at that moment was excruciating. Looking back, Michi didn't know what she had been thinking when she'd decided to come to the park in the middle of the day. Children were laughing nearby on the playground while others walked around unaware of what their presence alone was doing to the Ponyta Pokemorph. Despite her best attempts to get away from the other people, nothing was helping and Michi knew all too well that it was useless to try and put her shield in place now. The day had started out well enough and at first Michi was optimistic about finding some news about her parents. Surely someone would know something, anything about where she had come from...
Unfortunately, as had been the case most days, Michi had gotten lost once again and found herself wandering into the park. As if that wasn't bad enough, there were simply too many people there and that had started the headaches. By the time she had found a relatively quiet area, they had gotten so bad that she could hardly think. Only Sora's soothing presence was the only thing keeping her grounded in that moment. The Starly's quiet coos helped ease the pain that came from the many emotions she was feeling from the nearby people. At this rate, there was no way that she would be able leave any time soon...at least not for a while.
Holding her head in her hands, Michi clenched her eyes shut in a vain attempt to block out the voices crowding into her mind, each clamoring for her attention. Every single voice seemed to be unique and even in the peaceful environment of the park, there were still so many conflicted and confused emotions. With each one vying for her attention, the Ponyta Pokemorph couldn't tell which emotions were hers anymore and the pain, both physical and emotional was indescribable.
"It hurts.."Michi whimpered, opening her eyes to see Sora's worried expression. She knew he was worried, the Starly was her best friend after all and had been with her for years now. Usually, Sora could always cheer her up but even his soothing presence was too much when she was in this state. Reaching out for the Starly, Sora didn't hesitate before jumping into Michi's arms and cooing softly in an attempted to be reassuring. In truth, the gesture did help, but only precious little. If only there was a way to stop the pain entirely...then everything would be ok...
