Welcome to Fairvalley Amusement Park, the amusement park that has been abandoned for over seven years and still sits empty to this day. The sharp sounds of rusty hinges and uneasy unstable structures creaking in the eerie silence of the abandon park makes anyone shiver with anxiety as old equipment lay deathly still. Although there are several different places one could battle in this large park, this is where you will be battling today. In an old bumper car ride cage that has not been operated in several years as nature began to take over. Thick vines weave delicately through the overhead bars that could be the only thing that holds the cage together, preventing it from falling down onto your head. The fence around the platform is covered in thick dirty rust that could easily break off if too much weight was against it or hit with something with great force. Weeds of all different types scattered over the platform with patches of moss that could be hiding holes that may have formed from several years of the harsh weather treatment or repair work that the owner never did. You better watch where you step, not only because of the holes, but the platform itself could be ready to give way at any time.
It is here... where Pravus Major Maverick Noah Ryder will train one of his eight pokemon in hopes to let them gain more experience. The man stands on side side of the arena with one of his pokemon standing in front of him, a bored expression on his scarred face. Today's training battle will be against Takuma the Toxicroak in a single battle. If one of them faints before the time limit is up, he or she will have forfeited and the other is the winner. Although blood shed is fine, no killing each other in this battle. You may get the first move after an introduction post. Good luck!
--- occ: i may be be slow on replies. plz be patient with me.

An overeager challenger awaited for his opponent while foot tapped against the ground and an occasional chill ran down his side. Arlo was more than ready to get this event going, and was about to start jumping off the walls if he wasn't able to release his pent up energy soon. The young college student had been told by an acquaintance about a place near the large Pravus headquarters where trainers could test their strength and abilities. Of course he jumped at the thought of a battle, and accidentally arrived earlier than he was suppose to. It was only when he had spaced out in his own thoughts that he realized that his opponent had been waiting for him to snap back into reality. The man looks terrifying, and not the type to joke around with these sort of events. Smiling awkwardly and running his hand through his hair, Arlo called out his first Pokemon to battle the equally frightening Toxicroak. "Uh... Bam Bam! I choose you!"
He croaked out, embarrassed at what he named his Darmanitan. The giant Pokemon jumped onto the ground, pounding his fists into his chest as he let out a mighty roar that echoed in the eerie arena. Unsure of if the round started already or if he was to make a move, he decided to call out his attack and hope for the best. The man looked more than prepared already...right? This battle seemed different than the ones he was use to, but maybe that was just from the creepy scenery. After all, a battle between strangers isn't that uncommon these days. It was after he was done fighting himself in his head to stay or leave, he decided to call out an attack. "Bam Bam! Use Incinerate!" He called out, hoping that this wasn't a bad idea to come here.
npc trainer arlo wants to battle! npc trainer arlo sent out darmanitan! daramanitan used incinerate!

The burnt man strolled casually down the pravus stadium hallway deep within his own thoughts. Careful not to draw any attention as he weaved through the many other pravus members, his dark warm digits only flickered from one set of eyes to the next without a hint of a smile along his lips. It was a something that the trainer mastered over the course of a few years, not giving other a hint of his true emotions whether it was anger, hatred, sadness, fear, or loneliness. It all stayed dormant behind an emotionless flat expression and red hot cold eyes of a monster. Before the experiment that has changed him in more ways than just appearance, Maverick was a man that loved to be out socializing with other and maybe even get a few jollies off here and there. But that life was over when the man volunteered to be one of the many science experiments that they wanted to try out.
The experiment had different effects on different people. Some stayed the same with added pokemon features while others changed completely. Maverick was one of those who were in between, not complete changed but very different from before. The half human was reminded every day of his life changes. The burn scars all over his tanned toned body, the black short furred tail that expended from behind him, the constant heat he felt on his own skin, and the rich blood colored eyes that took over his once chocolate colored ones. Oh… and the blood thirsty houndoom that continues to try to take over his mind and body. Maverick could not forget that.
When the pokemorph flashed his specialized I.D. card before the scanner, the high technology device hesitated for what felt like minutes as if it was a fake. But it only took a second before beeped, flashed a green for approval and the door opened wide to show that arena that the Major would be training in. His warm digits flickered over the large enclosure with a sense of amazement as the hologram took over the once plain room and made it feel as if you were somewhere else. He could smell the nature, smell the rust, and smell that abandonment with his sensitive nose. The presence of abandonment was present throughout the arena as the trainer walked up the two stepped stairs and onto the unsteady wooden platform his pokemon would be battling on. An unsure grimace flashed before his expression before his eyes landed on a man who stood on the other side. Mavii’s expression quickly shifted back to its original flat appearance with a hint of bored out of his mind as he let out his Toxicroak.
Rick looked at the darmanitan before his attention turned to its owner. “Hello,” the man greeted with a soft wicked smirk, “I am Maverick and you will battle Takuma.” As if on cue, the toxicroak stepped forward. The pokemon’s black slits gazed at its opponent, clearly unaffected by any intimidation or act of frightening him. In fact, the pokemon looked to be bored as well as he took to his side of the battle field. The unstable platform below Takuma’s feet whined from the weight with a warning protest. “Easy Takuma,” the man warned in a mumble to the toxic pokemon, “This platform looks like it will give way. Be sure to watch where you step.” Takuma glanced back at his trainer with one eye on him before the duel type locked his gaze on the other duel type that stood before him.
Before Maverick or even Takuma, not like he would say anything anyway, said another word, their opponent was ready to start without even the common curiosity to introduce himself. Both the trainer and his pokemon watched as the darmanitan’s entire body turned into a white glow. Even Maverick could feel the heat build along its hot skin, the intense heat radiated out its body before the heat was pushed towards his toxicroak like an extreme heat wave. The heat made the toxicroak’s sensitive skin feel as if it was being burnt to a crisp as lifted him arm to cover his eyes and face from the heat. If this was a battle that was on solid earth, Takuma could have used dig to counter the attack. But being on a stage like ground, the pokemon would only encourage the battle field to give in quicker. Takuma had no other choice but accept the pain as it sizzled his skin. The heat wave only lasted a few minutes before it died off and his opponent started to turn its original color once more. The heat hurt Takuma, but this was only the start and he has been through worse as he glared at the fire pokemon.
“Now its mind turn my friend,” the man replied with a dark tone, “Takuma. Get in there and show them what you got. Let’s start with--!” But even before Maverick could finish his sentence, Takuma was already in action and ready to battle himself. The Toxic Mouth Pokémon took in a big breath as his bulbous red vocal sack expanded, a familiar croak like the true frog like creature he was. The sack filled with poisons and toxic sludge as the toxic pokemon withdrawn in the cool air. The male pokemon could feel the thick almost slimy substance built in his throat until the pokemon could not hold the vile back anymore. When the blue skinned creature opened his devilish looking grin, medium to large sized globs of brown smelly sludge erupted out of its wide mouth. Even Maverick wrinkled his canine sensitive nose as the Toxicroak aimed for the red colored opponent. Takuma’s hoped that the sludge would hit his opponent, not only covering it with toxins to cause damage but maybe even poisoning his opponent to slow it down some. Of course, they did not know how fast their opponent was or what tricks they had up their own sleeves.

The Darmanitan had only had a few seconds of sight after his inferno to see his opponent readying an attack. With no chance of dodging, he attempted to brace himself, pounding his fists into the ground as purple ooze covered the entire platform. The toxins rubbed against his fur and burned when it started to scratch the surface of his skin. It was like having bleach poured all over, the itchiness sweeped his body, quickly gone but still incredibly uncomfortable; nevertheless harmful as well. After a few shakes of his fur, he waited his instructions from the trainer before making any hasty moves toward his obviously strong opponent. A moment's silence went by before he decided to start to get warmed up, pounding his fists into his chest as his body glowed blue again. However there was no flash of heat this time, just a loud howling as he jumped around. The move made him feel stronger as he pounded the ground, growling ferociously at his opponent. "Bring it on, assholes!" he howled as he carelessly hit the ground again. "Bam Bam! Careful of what you are doing! You're gonna get us killed if you keep hitting the platform!" He trainer shouted, noting as his opponent did on how fragile their footing had to be. If his Pokemon hadn't been making so much noise, he might have heard the creaks and aches of the platform under all the sudden pressure. "Nevermind that, use Double Team before they decide to hit you!" The Darmanitan had been looking back with concern, but quickly snapped back to the battle at hand. He started to move quickly, attempting to jump softly as he ran circles around the opponent. Suddenly it appeared as there was several of him, jumping around and howling.
darmanitan was hit by sludge bomb! HP 90% Remaining! daramanitan used work up! daramanitan used double team! (you're doing fine. just remember, you have three moves you can do in a post. one dodge/hit, one stat changer, and one attack. the rest of it is simple!)

It felt a little odd to be training with everything that seemed to be going on around here lately. The pokemorph has not trained with his pokemon in a while since the rumor of uprisings have been stalking the night not to forget the rise in infected pokemon that been terrorizing the citizens as well to add on his list of shit he had to do. Although they all were defiantly more than capable of handling a battle on their own without the assistance of their trainer calling the shots, Maverick believed it helped them and they don’t seem to mind. After all, the man could see the whole battle and where the opponent was while Takuma could only see what was happening right in front of him.
When the toxicroak’s sack was full of the slimy sludge that was needed to make the attack work, the frog like pokemon let the vile erupt out of his creepy grinned mouth. The thick globs of poisonous substance hurled towards his target in medium to large clumps to hit and possibly cover the pokemon and poison it. Maverick was unsure of whether Takuma’s aim was accurate enough or if maybe this fire creature was way faster than they anticipated. The Toxicroak was a decently enough trained pokemon with experience under his belt, but their opponent could be more skilled in battle and could have seen it coming.
The edges of the burnt male’s natural brushed lips curled up in a sly grin as the sludge bomb attack hit right on target. Maverick never doubted his pokemon’s skills, the man could never be too sure who he was up against. Both the trainer and his pokemon watched the darmanitan was hit with the thick balls of sludge, the dark purple poison stuck to the opponent’s skin before it started to slow run down its body. The mild sensation of success filled Takuma as he readied for the next move, his face unreadable. The only expression that was held on the toxic pokemon’s face was the fake creepy grin that was always present on his expression blessed to him by his species genes. “Well done,” Maverick mumbles to his partner as they watched BamBam throw a hissy fit, “Let’s just keep it up. Don't underestimate it.”
A frown replaced Maverick’s hidden sly grin as the darmanitan cursed at them and started to glow with power. Although both seemed to be unaffected by the pokemon’s attempts to intimidate them, the man was disgusted by how the pokemon was behaving and how the trainer handle the situation. The trainer listened to the unsteady platform below their feet whine and squealed with protest as BamBam hit it with its large fit, the cage around them rattled with metal on metal hits in response to shifting movements that it created. A low growl of annoyance grumbled from the half human’s chest as he bit his tongue to avoid yelling at the man across from him to control his pokemon.
If Mavii was in a bad mood or not a respectable man, he could have called out for Takuma to move while the trainer and his darmanitan had their moment. But instead, they both waited until the move was called out before either of them reacted. But before anything was called, his opponent suddenly picked up speed and circled the frog creature. Within just a few seconds, Takuma not only had one or even two opponents to fight. The darmanitan managed to create multiples of himself and formed a gang like circle around the Toxicroak. Takuma’s slits flickered over the multiple opponents he was suddenly faced to deal with now, all of them looked identical as they jumped, howled, and danced around him like a stupid monkey like creature it looked like. Even Maverick lost track of the real darmanitan as his arrow tailed tail twitched behind him, his dark gaze flickered to the man across the arena before back to his very own pokemon.
“Don’t let that damn thing confused you Takuma,” Maverick howled out over the fire type while the toxicroak stood stiff in the center, “You know how to get out of this. Handle it!” It was when the familiar masculine voice of his master that rung out over the commotion when the deep blue skinned pokemon stood up from his normal crouched position, the black slivers against the yellow background called his eyes took on a low red glow as the duel type stomped his own tree toes foot down onto the platform. The weak floor grunted back at him as he stomped again, a low growl escaped his mouth as he repeated the process in hopes that it tormented his opponent that the pokemon was unaffected by its attempts to confused the shit out of him. The move would hopefully successfully make it so that his opponent can’t use the same attack again.
And when Takuma felt like he has tormented his opponent enough, the toxicroak’s three fingered hand balled up in a fist. A dark aurora swirled around his fist as his eyes flickered to each of the darmanitan that danced in a circle around, looking for a hint of which one was the right one. But after a minute or two of analyzing which one was the correct one, the toxic mouth Pokémon whirled around with one swift movement of his feet at what he thought was the correct darmanitan and tried to uppercut the blazing pokémon with a sucker punch. If the one he tried to hit was not the correct one, Takuma would try to hit another one with another sucker punch and continue until most if not all of its damn copies have disappeared and let just one opponent he would have to face. Maverick only watched in anticipation to see who his pokemon handle this situation. His dark gaze flickered to both the fire type and its trainer to see how they would react to the lack of direction the man gave to his faithful pokemon.

Bam Bam the Darmanitan perhaps had got a bit cocky, jumping around wildly on the platform in an attempt to confuse his opponent. Not only was he barely listening to his trainer at this point, but he was assuming that his moves would have any effect on the obviously well-trained duo. It wasn't until he looked at the the dauntless Toxicrock did he feel it's glaring eyes right into his soul, as if it already knew which one he was even while he was using double team. The terror hit him coldly, as if it was an attack, and almost made him stop moving all together. It wasn't until his opponent had started to attack that his mind snapped out of it. One by one, he could see his copies being eliminated. It was only a matter of time before it hit him as well. He looked at his trainer for advice, being sure to keep moving regardless of the clones that were quickly being knocked out. The trainer was at a lost on what to do, as he looked over to the frankly terrifying pokemorph and his equally frighteningly strong Pokemon he was facing. It was due to his trainer's hesitation that the sucker punch move hit, dealing enough damage to stop the howling Darmanitan in his tracks. The hit was strong enough to throw him off balance even, and left a giant welt where the move had hit. It was only after his Pokemon was hit and within range did the cowardly trainer worked up enough strength to quickly shout a command. "Bam Bam! Use Hammer Arm!" he said, as the Pokemon started to rear his arm back for the hit. It was only then did they hear the loud cracking of the structure that held them up. The sound was clearly due to the heavy set Pokemon, whose previous reckless had strained the ground below. If this move were to miss and hit the ground, what consequences would arise?
darmanitan was hit by sucker punch! HP 60% remaining! darmanitan used hammer arm! (sorry my post is so sucky I'm running on no sleep.)
