"Come ooon, slowpoke!" Abby's whining rang out down the mostly empty road, drawing in curious stares at her and the boy lagging behind her, with Abby herself also glancing at him in impatience. Said boy was reluctantly dragging his feet across the pavement, shoulders slouching down in utter boredom. "Unng," he grunted in annoyance, "you're the one that's all but flying down the road. Slow down!" Rolling his eyes, he sighed as his pokemon, as he expected, ignored him.
Shaking his head -- and playfully grumbling about hyperactive pokemon under his breath -- he sped up his pace and slowly caught up to his absol. "Stop whining," Abby began, nudging Konstantin with her sickle-like horn, "We're almost there. It's just around the corner."
The amber eyed boy deemed it fit to keep silent, walking alongside the pokemon around a bend, soon coming face to face with his destination: Derleth Accounting. Konstantin hesitated before the door, glancing down at his attire.
Under his trademark emerald jacket and yellow goggles, he had on a crumbled gray sweater -- which he quickly evened out -- thrown over a plain pair of black pants. Closing his eyes, Konstantin drew in a deep, calming breath while running his hands through his dark hair. Muttering a quick prayer to Rayquaza, the raven haired boy snapped his eyes open and slipped inside the building, closing the door behind him once Abby was in. Casting a curious glance around the interior, Konstantin saw that it was... average. Nothing was in there to differentiate it from other receptions; it had everything you would expect in one. There was a rather bored looking brunette manning the desk in the corner of the room, next to a door, and a seating area opposite to that, complete with a magazine-laden table and hardback chairs.
Coughing faintly, Konstantin walked up to the receptionist, stopping once she raised her eyes to him with an arched eyebrow. "Can I help you?" she drawled out, the boredom obvious in her eyes.
Konstantin nodded, "I have an appointment with Miss Derleth. I'm Konstantin Tribute," he paused as she became more attentive after he uttered Derleth's name, continuing on after his brief pause dragged out into an awkward silence, "... May I see here?" He questioned, furrowing his eyebrows in faint irritation at the woman before him.
"Oh! Yes, yes! Go right on in," she exclaimed hastily, gesturing vaguely to the door next to her, before quickly typing something into the computer in front of her.
Turning on his heel, Konstantin glanced behind him to see Abby hopping from paw to paw in boredom, causing him to smirk. Waving at her to grab her attention, he jerked his head to the door, before entering it and leaving it open for Abby, who quickly followed him through and shutting the door behind her with her paw.
Konstantin ignored most of the room around him, taking in the woman before him. If he was being honest, he'd have thought she was a man if not for the long, blonde hair and the healthy curves on her. Pausing, he stared at her in curiosity for a split second before blinking and making his way to her. Standing before her desk, he nonchalantly nodded his head in greeting towards her. "Hello," he began, "Miss Derleth?"
