Tyrus had spent the last few hours wandering store to store gazing inside of some of them and even going into some of the nicer smelling ones. She didn't go into the stores that had too much perfume in the air since it made her a tad woozy for some reason; she figured it was probably because her heritage and different Pokemon must of responded to different scents drastically different than others. She sipped on her smoothie for a few moments before shivering; she loved the damn thing from teh smoothie shop that Weiss had taken her to; she shivered a little bit before raising her eyebrows when she saw another one of these smoothie shops. Sure the one they had gone to was a sit down; but this one was over the counter and go find your own seat somewhere in a cafeteria like area. She grinned a little bit and glanced at her drink; she had drained most of it and with a single dollar she could get them to refill it. She moved towards where the store was; some people stared at the scantily clad pokemorph (she was only wearing a T-shirt and loin cloth after all) while others glared. Someone int eh crowd wondered what her fur felt like and she couldn't help but chuckle, that was a very common thought it seemed from the traces she was picking up from so many people. She paused in front of one of the burger joints that lined the wall; they did have really good burgers here but she wasn't hungry... Just thirsty for some damn reason. She probably wasn't drinking enough water or something that was in the smoothies was making her head fuzzy. She smiled a little bit when she stepped into the line at the smoothie place; a few people glanced at her but didn't leave the line. She saw two irritated ones leave the line glaring at her though for some reason. Was their irritation with pokemorph's so deep that they refused to go to some of the same stores? It made very little sense in her opinion. She shrugged a little bit and when she eventually got up to the cash register the man standing there blinked a few times before speaking. He obviously hadnt expected to see a pokemorph today or ever with the way his mouth was ajar. His buddy righ tnext to him elbowed him in the side which cause the man to stiffen and ask the age old question of customer service. The menu was extensive and she already knew what she wanted from the place.
Hello and welcome to Jamba Juice, how can I take your order Sir and or Madam.
Got to give him credit for that... I wouldn't be able to tell my gender from afar if I was a random guy like this.
Yes I'd like a refill on this strawberry smoothie? I was told at the other store that ya'll do refils for a dollar?
Why yes we do, if you'll please give me the cup and money I can fill it back up for you!
The man was beyond polite so Tyrus didn't hesitate giving the man both the cup and the money; if she had gotten some kind of attitude she probrably would of poked about in his mind for a quick second. She waited for about thirty or so seconds off to one side while the man refilled it; she was handed not one cup but two. From the back she saw a man wave pleasantly to her before turning back to what he was doing. Apparently not everyone shared the opinion of most of the people in the city. She smiled a bit and turned about sipping on one of the smoothies; she was having a fair day if she really thought about it. She had been busy for the last few days really, after getting out of therapy she had met so many good people... Then there was nuru. Her face went from a smile to a frown; she didn't like nuru, the guy messed with her head. She wasn't able to fight against him yet but some day maybe she'd be able to make him eat some of the words he had put into her mind. She shivered a little bit and kept her head down. She wasn't watching where she was going; some people moved out of the way but she could sense that a lot of people were hurrying away from her.... she was just about to look up when she ran into someone with very dark black hair. Both of the smoothies went all over the poor woman, she held the empty cups in her hands for a moment before dropping them and backing away a bit, the person was covered in them and in her panic she telepathically contacted them with a very nervous stutter. Sometimes she did that when nervous and that was definitely one of those times. In her nervousness her whiskers flared a little with the physic power that had been storing up in the last few days....
A-Ah! I-I'm so s-so-sorry! Let.. Let me clean that off of y-you!

She had been dragged to the mall by her grandfather, and already the girl was ready to head home. There was no 'illusions' when she travelled with her pa. He would have none of it--the man may have been gentle and loving, but he was very adament and stern about the fact that she should be 'proud' about her morph appearance. Tori didn't see why he had to be such a grump about it. Either way, she had split nearly as soon as they had arrived--the girl saw no reason in lingering with his company, especially when all it brought was questions about how school was going, and if she was hanging out with more people, and if she had finally stopped pretending that she wasn't a morph.
At the very least, he had let her curb off some of the abundance of fur covering one side of her face.
She also was not liable to be recognized by anyone that she knew (Arceus pray that she didn't run into Aubre.)
Either way, the girl paced through the store--She really didn't feel like shopping for new clothing. Paranoia made the hair upon her neck, quite literally, stand on end, and a set of green eyes consistently sweeped around to see if anyone was looking at her. Her doubts always seemed to be dampened--no one ever seemed to really care. They had in school, but the Zoroark morph had found that a lot of the general population no longer ridiculed morphs--after all, there was many of them walking around. It didn't make her self confidence any better, however. Victoria would have been more than happy just to frolick off home. Arceus, why had her grandpa drag her here? And then run off to get his 'tools', of all things.
She spun on her heel--her tail nearly took out a jewelery stand, and removed herself from the shop with a bit of a scowl that was soften by the fact that a bright orange straw was in her mouth, leading down to a can of soda. They hadn't had any of the twisty variety. It had been a little disappointing. Clad in a large, rather fuzzy red sweater (Christmas was getting near!) and a pair of dark jeans, designed to accomodate for the tail she had acquired, along her her converse and the belt that held her two Pokeballs, Tori almost looked like a normal person at first glance. The clawed fingers and abundunce of fur usually enlightened people to what she really looked was like.
A hand reached into her pocket only to pull out a cell, a thumb tapping impatiently at the screen as she typed out a message, Where are you?, too her grandfather, "It'd be just my luck that'd he'd leave me here." Somehow, even when she was annoyed, the dark haired girls voice still managed to sound cheery. Someone should really applaud her for that. Her head was turned towards her phone, which she started to slide back into her pocket--the charm, that of a bird whistling, made her start to pull it back out--
And suddenly she was very cold and very damp.
Victoria stumbled back with a little surprised gasp--before her eyes snapped up to see just what had happened. Her phone was likely soaked, but she was mostly just confused at this point. Another morph, of all things, looking as started as her--and two empty cups. Her red sweater was effectively covered in the smoothies. Hands held away from her body, Tori couldn't do much except stare with her mouth open for a few moments.
A-Ah! I-I'm so s-so-sorry! Let.. Let me clean that off of y-you! That voice hadn't been outloud. Tori hand came up to her head, "Ah--did you just--? Before she realized just what the other said said. Her hands came up, almost a little defensively. Her eyes narrowed somewhat, her nose wiggled, she was absolutely soaked on smoothie, and it was this girls fault--who knew the condition of her phone.
And, not that surprisingly at all, as this was Tori, she began to giggle.
"Oh, no, no, it's fine. Oh my gosh, that woke me up! I should be the one apologizing--I should have watched where I was going! Now your smoothies are wasted--I could get you a new one?"
Some people were just good, even when they looked like a half savage Zoroark morph.

Tyrus stared at the person's shirt for a little longer before biting her lower lip rather hard; not hard enough to draw blood but she did this sort of thing when incredibly nervous as well. How was she going to fix this? She hadn't ran into an issue like this before and she couldn't just go about.... She felt brushing in her tail and she stiffened a bit as she felt jazz pop his little body out of her fluffy tail and look around. He probrably was wondering why on earth they had stopped in the first place.... The morph glanced back and felt a bit of a sweatbead come down her back as he stared up at her with both amused and his "normal" expression. She knew what was coming next and felt herself stifle a giggle at his use of the word; he was quick to talk sometimes specially like in moments she was embarrassed. Her ears twitched a bit and she turned back to the woman that she had so rudely ran into; she clasped her hands together and bopped Jazz on the head causing him to grunt in irritation; he hated when she did that sort of thing. She furrowed her brow and bumped her mind against his; he was rather receptive when she did that for some reason.
Look at it now you hippy! You spilt your smoothies all over this nice woman's clothing!
I Know I know! I wasn't looking at where I was going Jazz, though why didn't you tell me someone was in front of me?
I had a great time keeping watch forward when I was stuck in your tail! Also stop talking to me, you've got someone else to deal with now.
The morph wriggled her ears a bit as jazz dove back into the center tail; she had forgotten he was there from earlier.... The morph turned back and then tried her best to smile; her facial muscles twitched a bit and all she managed was a lopsided one. One side would listen but the other often wouldn't; she eyed the sweater before pursing her lips the best she could. Tyrus wasn't sure exactly what she could do to fix this issue but.... There was something someone mentioned about manipulating things like water with her rather loose powers. She fumbled with her words a bit; she hadn't used real ones in so long since she broke into the habit of speaking with her mind. She could tell that this one didn't exactly like the idea of someone poking at her like that. The reaction from earlier told her that much even if it might of been an unconscious reaction of some kind. She fumbled a few times before her words picked up; either she was well practiced in one or horrid in the other; there really wasn't any middle ground for the morph to tread on sadly. Her voice cracked a few times admist all the stumbling over said words....
I-I Ca-can't accept ne-new smo-smoothies until I fix your...
Tyrus rubbed at her throat a bit and furrowed her brow; she hadn't had issues with this a while back but now.. Things were getting Stupid. She gestured at the shirt and then held out her hands; she'd probrably fail badly at pulling out the liquid but damn well she'd try to. She blinked a few times and realized she hadn't even introduced herself; she was really forgetting this sort of stuff rather badly. The last person she had been better with for some reason..... Hell hadn't it just been a few minutes ago? The morph bumped minds with Jazz again inquiring quickly.
Hey jazz did I talk to the smoothie guy?
No you just stared at him and he was talking to you back.
I swore that I did...
No, you didn't trust me. It was weird watching it.
The morph bit her lip a bit and started to fidget; she felt so awkward sometimes with all these things happening to her... She hadn't expected to win Jazz at the fair the other day nor... She shook her head a little and then smiled a little before introducing herself.
M-My na-name is Tyrus, W-what's yours?

This day had taken a turn for the, well, odd. In one way, she felt rather uncomfortable. She was soaked in smoothie, and it was rather chilly, and she did really like this shirt. On the other hand, her day had not been going over very well, and she had been a touch upset. Her grandfather would laugh at this story, and disputes they may have been having would start to blow over ,and per usual they would end up just laughing it off. Tori would be able to, someday in the future, thank Tyrus for that one. Right now she was a bit busy watched the girl argue with this 'Jazz', and trying to hold back a bit of a giggle herself. It wasn't often that she saw something hiding in tails--She supposed that, if Simon wanted too, than he could hide out in her hair as well.
Tori's head tipped to the side. Her own smile became soft. The morph in front of her appeared not to be overly good at her spoken language. Victoria had never faced any such problems. She could ramble a persons ear off within seconds if she wanted too. That odd smile was also an indicator, but Tori shrugged that one off too. Perhaps something to do with the morphing process? It was hard to say, and she wasn't about to jump to any conclusions in his mind. She gave another chuckle, this one a tad bit stilted itself, "Oh, you really don't have to, um, worry about this. I can get a change of clothing when I get home..." But she was soaked in the smoothies, and she didn't even know where her grandfather was--or whether her phone had faced the unlucky odds of getting wet too. It would be just her luck that the electronic would die.
Green eyes blinked in surprise. Whatever attempts to remove the smoothies worked--it wasn't perfect, the clothing would likely stain, but she wasn't nearly as, well, damp now. Her smile became a bit more genuine. Victoria reached up a hand to rub the back of her head, the black hair standing up oddly afterwards, and shrugged her shoulders. Whatever discussion may have been distracting Tyrus went unnoticed by the morph, who just gave a rather surprised, "O-oh." The first stumble in a usually calm and kinda demeanour. It would have held true, but these circumstances were rather odd. Sharp shoulders shrugged, green eyes raised up from her clothing to look at the girl, and she fumbled for her phone awkwardly, even as the question was asked. What was her name?
She glanced up from the screen which had, thankfully, lit up, and gave a soft smile, "Victoria Ashton. It's nice to meet you, Tyrus! Even if the circumstances are a little odd--But odd tends to be fun." A small giggle. A series of messages from her grandfather popped across her screen, mainly asking what Tori thought her grandmother would like as a present for their anniversary. The man would likely come looking for her, hoping for her help, soon. It wouldn't have surprised Tori.
"You doing some shopping, or just came for your daily dose of spilt smoothie?" The joke was lighthearted. A single green eye winked.

Tyrus tilted her head a bit and then blinked a few times; why wouldn't she worry about that? She was the one that had spilled the smoothies after all! She fidgeted a bit and glanced back at where jazz was hiding within her tails before looking at Victoria. She felt her face flush a bit when she noted that she had a cell phone on her; what if she had gotten that wet too? It wouldn't be a problem for the pravus morph to pay for it but... It was more the thought that she messed up something that made the morph inwardly wince. she wiggled her ears a bit and tried her best to smile; facial muscles twitched and were just about as responsive as before making her look like she had a lopsided grin again. Sure the day had started off on the left foot but hey what could you really do about something so simple? The morph felt herself blink again at the giggle and introduction; she scratched her head and then nodded. She couldn't just stay quiet; she wanted to talk in the manner before but most people weren't comfortable with the mental pokes so she just had to deal with the cracking voice.
T-this is true... T-though it's a bit sad a-about t-the smoothies... And shirt. Loo-Looks good on you.
The morph still felt rather flustered from spilling the smoothies, thankfully she still had the cups so she might be able to get them refilled. Though she did figure that the man would probably ask for full price for both even though she still had the cups. She sighed inwardly and deposited both cups in the trash bin that was near where they were standing; a few people that were passing by stared briefly before hurriedly moving on. Sometimes people just didn't know what to think about the genetically spliced people and often would just avoid meeting such strange creatures. The morph was dressed strangely to boot so she couldn't exactly say that they weren't justified. Tyrus blinked and felt her face flush at both the question and wink; why was she so disarmed by a simple statement? She knew it was meant in a jovial way but the wink sorta threw her off a little bit. She wasn't very good with dealing with people normally; hell could she even wink? She found herself fidgeting again.
I.. Uh... We-ll.. as-as y-you can see I'm not.. Ex-exactly dressed pr-proper.. So-so I figured since I have some.. C-coupons I could get.. Some new clothing..... W-what about you?

The phone getting wet would be a shame—Tori also wasn’t going to dwell on it. After all, that could be remedied. It was more than likely that the device was just going to be a tad sticky—It’d taste good, right? Worst circumstances, she’d throw it in some rice and the phone would be back to working perfectly in days! Not that many people called her anyway, and if her grandfather or grandmother needed her that much, than they could get up off their bums and come and see her at the apartment—or hunt her down in a crowded mall currently.
The lopsided grin, instead, made Tori think that the other, while a tad odd, was cute. Her own grin was still small, but it was sincere. She could see the makings of something here—Tyrus might have seemed a bit different than her run of the mill person on the streets—but so was Tori, wasn’t she? Most people just didn’t realize it, because she wasn’t walking around showing that off—she had the choice not to, unlike most, ”Really? And to think, this isn’t even my favorite one! You’ll have to see me in that one.” A small, playful wink, and she placed her hands on her hips, ”Really slimming. Or—Is it vertical stripes or horizontal ones that do that?” The girl, who was a tad chubby, didn’t mind making jokes about her form.
Smoothies were good—Tori would have suggested ice-cream over them, but she would also enjoy ice cream anytime, whether it be winter or summer (some would say she was mad). Every once in a while the girl would feel bad about making someone uncomfortable—not everyone liked to be thrown out of their comfort zone like her, but that was just the way that Tori had been raised, ”Clothing shopping, eh? Just my type of thing! I’ve just been wandering the mall—kind of boring when you’re alone, so care if I join you?” She giggled. She wouldn’t turn down shopping with a friend, ”At least till my grampy finds me and drags me off!”

The morph blinked and then rubbed the back of her head; they were getting along pretty well all things considered. Past the smoothie spilling Tyrus wondered what might of happened to make them meet otherwise... Dangerous line of thinking that; she felt a smile tug at her lips again and the morph blinked at tori's comment about it not being her favorite. She must have a larger wardrobe than Tyrus did [then again tyrus only did have the stuff pravus gave her for some silly reason] The morph chuckled a little bit and nodded in agreement; it'd be nice to see the shirt... The morph paused a little bit and then felt her ears wiggle a bit from the wink followed by what seemed to be a harmless question.
Ye-yes I'd say, T-though I'd l-love to s-see y-your f-favorite. I-it 's horr...Horri....
The morph paused again and then flattened her ears entirely; she was having one hell of a problem saying horizontal. She sighed wistfully and then tried the best to smile. The morph was getting a little frustrated with her stuttering problem, it had increased rather dramatically in the last few weeks now that she really thought about it. She fidgeted a bit and then nodded again; she wouldn't mind if Tori joined her. Maybe she'd have some advice to what to do with the morph's fur pattern and some of the clothing around here? Tyrus wasn't exactly the best at figuring out what looked well together; that was pretty much the sole reason why she hadn't shifted from using the loin cloth and T-shirt group that she had been relying on for quite some time.
I w-wouldn't m-mind; It-it's w-wierd t-to t-take cl-clothing h-hints from an arbok... T-though h-he's sin.. sincere about-t it. It'd be n-nice to h-have you along!
The morph paused again at the mention of her grampa; that brought a curious question to her head. Was her grandparents alive still as well? She knew her mother and father were not but she hadn't seen them in quite some time... The morph smiled a little bit and then gently tilted her head down a bit before nervously playing with one of her tails.
W-would I-I be able to.. come along? I.. Don't make friends easily...

Sometimes I need a little sunshine And sometimes I need you She had a way with people. Before the morphing process, Tori could have been considered as borderline popular. Not because she put herself out there, and not because she tried to get others attention, but because she easily talked to others. She had a way of getting them to open up. Sometimes, yes, that was by getting under their skin. Yet it did the trick. People liked her. That had changed... when she got morphed. But she was building herself back up from where she had slipped. Tori was putting herself out there again--yes, hidden behind a mask, but she was doing it. Gradually. At her grandparents encouragements.
"It's my favorite more for comfort than it being actually cute!" The young lady laughed softly, reaching up to rub her hair--when she pulled her hand away, her hair stuck up at an odd interval. The static in it made that happen--no amount of conditioner could help her hair. It was composed differently. When her illusion abilities weren't in place, it stuck out at least twice as far, and had a rougher texture. She had often considered cutting it shorter, so it was easier to manage. Green eyes flickered down to look at the smile, and her own grew. She giggled again, "Why, yes! I think it would be! I mean, it's hard to appreciate the wonders of pant legs when you don't need them! I'll get you fixed up--Tyrus! I'm sure we can find you something super cute!"
Her grandparents were her life. Her guardians. They took care of her. They had given her a house, a home, when her actual mother would have likely rather put her up for adoption than keep her herself. It wasn't the perfect household--her grandfather was stern, and he didn't often agree with her views on many things in life, but her grandmother made the situation less tense. A lovely woman, really, "Well, I guess so! He could likely drop us off somewhere more interesting! Though if we're not done shopping and see him coming, we'll just have to hide out in the dressing rooms!" The mall was big, and she didn't plan on checking her phone for quite some time.
