"Trick or treat!"
The woman forced a bit of a smile as she placed candy in the bags of the three kids that were on her doorstep, dressed as the starting Pokemon of the Kalos region, and it sort of made the smile genuine. They stared in awe at the silver Ninetales costume that had been wrapped around her body, and the glowing fire that floated around her, courtesy of her own fire power, having shifted colors to a beautiful blue to enhance the "Shiny" effect of the costume.
The children thanked her and went on their way, and she closed the door with a sigh. She was bored, and wanted to go out, yet wanted to stay in the house at the same time. Part of her wanted to go out and see the Halloween festival and another wanted to stay in the house and curl up in Lucius's side, watch a movie with some apple cider that she made from the apples on the nearby tree.
Malaika straightened the furry silver dress attached to her body, sleeveless and reaching above her mid thighs, the boots reaching to her knees, and the fingerless gloves reaching to her mid upper arms. There were furry borders all over it, furry ears and a furry tuft on her head, nine tails spreading out behind her. The back and front of the dress were rather low cut, and perhaps she was showing a little too much skin. She'd gotten Lucius one that was matching, but black to fit his overall appearance instead.
"Ah...Lulu?" She called out into the house, which hadn't been so empty in the past months because he had been there. "Are you going to let me see that costume?" She couldn't help the grin on her face.

some coincidences are deliberate @malaika
This was his first proper Halloween. Every year prior to this he had always been far too busy with his exorcism job. Whatever the reason (it seemed it varied for each type of ghost) the veil between the realm of the living and the dead was very weak upon this night. The undead were strong on this night, and up to all kinds of mischief. Some of it innocent and playful, and other kinds wicked and cruel. Every exorcist had a full-time job to do on this night.
But tonight was different. He felt slightly guilty about it on a certain level, but... He wasn't going to even entertain the idea of going out on his own tonight. He didn't even want to. Tonight he just wanted to spend with Malaika, doing whatever they wanted to, together.
Idly he tugged at his costume. It was made of out sleek black fur, a Ninetales costume like Malaika. They were matching. She was in a sexy dress- he was in a sleek tux. He thought that they looked rather striking together. Although parts of it he was rather leery about. Such as the ears. They were big and fluffy and he thought that they looked absolutely ridiculous. The tuft of fur, carefully slicked back with his hair looked rather strange too. As did the tails. They flowed out around himself, his ice powers making them sparkle and glisten with a cold light.
He sighed slightly, then smiled, wearing her voice. His left arm was in a black sling. He could no longer use it. His eye was similarly affected- a black eye-patch served well enough to fit the theme and not look out of place. Lucky that his leg had not been affected- although sometimes it became rather stiff and numb. It was worth it.
"Coming." Carefully, he walked out. One of the tails bumped against the wall. "I look ridiculous in this." He said good naturedly, walking over to her. The doorbell rang again. CODED BY DUCKIE OF GS

Malaika couldn't resist the complete and utter temptation to get them matching costumes. Ninetales seemed to fit them so well anyways, and they came in the perfect colors. The fire she controlled and the ice he controlled added to the sheer eerieness of the costumes that they needed to make the night relatively perfect. Of course, when he descended the steps to show her the costume, the smile blossomed further on her face. It was a smile only he was allowed to see, especially since he had come back to her, and their relationship had extended past best friends.
There was no doubt in her mind that she loved this man, possibly always had, and she smiled at him in such a way that spoke that without her needing to say a word. "You look fine. You make a very dashing, sexy Ninetales. You'll be attracting all the females." She stepped over to him, leaning up to plant a soft kiss on his lips, lingering close and murmuring against them with slight amusement, "And, of course, I will be here to chase them off." Her fingers played with the fabric for a moment, then laughed. "Or maybe you'll have to beat all the boys off me. Do you see how short this thing is?" The package wasn't kidding when it said "sexy fox" on the front of it.
When the doorbell rang again, she let out a sigh and went to the door, picking up the candy to go with it. The kids at the door in their costume said their words and she handed them candy, wishing them a happy Halloween and sending them on their way. She turned back to Lucius, staring at his arm for a moment, feeling partially guilty herself, but wrapped her arms around his waist and rested her head on his chest. "What do you want to do? We could leave the candy out front and go out to the festival or stay here and hand out candy, or leave the candy on the doorstep so people won't bother us and watch a few movies and such. Your choice." She would be perfectly happy doing whatever, so long as it was here and with him. Though, she had to admit Halloween made her sad; seeing all the kids in their costumes made her think of Aowyn.
"Malaika speaking." Malaika thinking. "Others speaking." @okorihakuzo

Lucius laughed lightly, stepping up to Malaika. "There's only one female I want to attract." He murmured, kissing her back softly and reaching a hand up to ghost against her pale, porcelain cheek. He would never grow weary of her beauty; every day he admired her in some new way. She was gorgeous and beautiful; he was the luckiest man alive. There was no one that he would rather be in love with. How very glad he was that those feelings were returned to him, even if it had taken a long time. The wait was well worth it. Lulu smiled.
"We can chase them off together." He spoke in amusement, running a hand down her waist lightly. The fabric was very smooth and pleasing to the touch; it complimented her own beauty perfectly. "It is rather short; but it looks wonderful on you." He smirked, and leaned in to gently kiss her cheek, chaste. He did not want to ruin the mood by making any overt moves on her. He was a gentleman; he would wait for her to make the first move. Although he did have to admit he was distracted somewhat by that low top. He just wanted to worship her forever.
The tails swished behind himself as he followed Malaika to the door. The children on the step seemed very delighted to be out on this spooky night. They were also rather impressed by their costumes, which matched so very well. The parents, hovering off the steps in the darkness, simply smiled and nodded as their children got their delicious treats and ran off again to the next house and the next giving of yummy candies.
He smiled as she listed out the choices. "They all sound wonderful." He nodded. But he wasn't in a very sociable mood. Nor did he feel like sharing her beauty with the other men who would be certain to send lustful gazes her way and make poor attempts to flirt with her, no matter how apparent he made it that she was taken and uninterested. Sometimes he wondered if part of it was playfully making him jealous. The thought brought a smirk to his face. "Why not stay in and watch a few movies? There were a few cheesy spooky ones that'd be perfect to watch." He grinned playfully at her, teasing. "If you get frightened, you can always hold onto my arm. I don't mind~" CODED BY DUCKIE OF GS
